How to record microphone and speakers

I have trouble getting my computer to save both my microphone and sound out of the speakers by using two Microsoft Sound Recorder. Currently the mic input will be saved, but not just any play on my computer. This is something that I have to fix if I can do a podcast.

Stero Mix is set as my default for registration, device and the Realtek High Definition Audio speakers in my reading. Two of these so that my mic have "Immediate Mode" enabled and are that all has been fixed at 44100 Hz.

My OS is Vista and the laptop is a Toshiba Satellite Pro A300.

It is worth noting that with some fiddling I can get Audacity to record the sound enclosure, but at this time, he is unable to save the mic input.

Hello

To save as you describe computer must have the ability of full-duplex sound and it
do not have. Check with Toshiba support, online documentation, and their forums.

If your system does not have this capability there are 3rd party USB cards available
However I don't know if anyone of those who have the duplex full or not.

Here's a Google maps USB sound - and there seems to be some with this ability.

You also need software with more features than sound recorder to check these.

  • Qosmio F10: How to record audio and video and use QosmioPlayer

    I am owner of a Qosmio F10-122 with TV tuner and I really need HELP. I'm Italian.

    The questions are:
    1 QosmioPlayer version 4.0.1 (2005022812) (according to the procedure of the forum) has installed fine but the sensitivity is poor; in any case the question is: is is possible to record videos? Also is it possible to record audio?

    2 input and video output are stupid; I can see Windows and QosmioTV on HDTV via DVI/SCART but I can't input in MCE TV or QosmioPlayer any signal IN Composite; so the question is once again how can record AUDIO from my Home stereo or VCR VHS VIDEO?

    3. I only use VIDEO IN to WATCH is not to save: where is my fault?

    Thanks, Marco

    Hello Marco

    I did some testing and I can tell you about my experience on Qosmio G20.

    1. as far as I know early versions of Qosmioplayer did not have the registration option but now I hope that your preinstalled version has REC option. If so, please be sure that you have about 5 GB of free space for the recorded material.

    It is not important what signal is sent to your Qosmio (TV or VCR VHS-connected) you can find it if you look at the channels. With REC option, you can save what you want. I tested it with my VCR VHS and I recorded some old movies. This material was recorder und great quality was the same as on cassettes. After recording, I started Windows MCE and transferred the material recorded in Windows using Qosmio player utility.

    I have not tried, but I put t think you will be able to record audio using only Qosmioplayer.
    2. you can record movies VHS if you connect your VCR VHS on the Qosmio using the antenna cable. Launch Media center Edition (TV option) and scan channels. In my case, I could watch movies VHS on MCE on channel 31. Using REC option you can save all documents of video cassettes. Later, you can change the recorded material and create own DVDs. It really isn't a problem.

    Your audio Home Audio recording can be a bit more problematic, and if you want it to be on the professional path you will need a device external and of course some professional recording software.
    3. I don't know what to write here. Just try to do what I already descriebed under 1 and 2.

  • How to use headphones and speakers at the same time

    I want to use headphones at the same time that I use the speakers.

    I am hard of hearing and need the LOUD volume. When others are watching a film, projected on HDTV, they won't let me turn the volume up to where I need it, which is why, headphones and speakers at the same time.

    I use Windows 7, I want to stick with Windows 7, so I want a Windows 7 solution.

    If there is no solution for Windows 7 and there is a solution using Windows 10, then and then only, I will be upgrading to Windows 10.

    Using headphones and speakers was possible under Windows XP. I think that a kid at Microsoft, with a regular audience, thought this feature was redundant and removed. Large.

    Macs will play through the headphones and speakers, so maybe it's time to buy a Mac!

  • [W520] How can I configure microphone and speakers?

    Hi, I recently got a Thinkpad W520 and I am having some problems.

    How can I set up the microphone for use with Skype or Msn Messenger? Now, whenever I make a call, he said that Skype/Msn does not detect my sound card, so it won't work.

    The microphone does not work, and while I try to access the microphone, every sound will stop, as in any music in the background will not be in the volume mixer or anything.

    How can I solve this problem?

    If it helps at all, it works for Ventrilo, but only in some settings.

    There is a known issue with the driver Conexant and Skype in the preload. Update the audio driver should solve ubiquitous.

  • How to enable microphone AND line-in audio to record at the same time?

    At the present time, then I plug the microphone, line triggers.
    How to mix the two?

    It depends on your hardware chipset and driver of the company that built your audio system.  Really, we need to know precisely what audio card/driver type and the name of the template that you use to tell you what capabilities it has (assuming that this information is available from the manufacturer).

  • Microphone and speakers won't work - HP Pavilion laptop dv7

    Hello

    Last night I was using Skype and my internal MIC was not working (it's the only microphone that I had). I was confused and he looked in the forums of HP and found this: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-PC-Sound-and-Audio/dv7-Pavilion-integrated-microphone-array-Sk...

    I followed the instructions:

    Check if it works, otherwise you have to uninstall and reinstall the driver.

    1. click on start, type: DEVMGMT. MSC in the search field and then press ENTER. It opens the Device Manager window.
    2. go to the category 'Sound, video and game controllers' and expand it. Right-click on the entry of the IDT high definition Audio Device, and then click on uninstall

    3. click on start-> all programs-online REcovery Manager-> click Dirver Hardware installation, select the Sound Driver entry and click on install.

    For step 3, I am looking for the Recovery Manager and I find the HP Recovery Manager, I then select "drivers and reinstall applications" to the title of immediate assistance. I tried to reinstall the driver for IDT HD Audio Driver. Tried twice and both times it failed.

    Now my computer doesn't have speakers... When I hover over the volume icon in my toolbar, it is said that there is no speakers or headphones installed. I need my speakers... Is this something that can be corrected?

    I don't have the capabilities to mic. When I go into the properties for under sound recording, there are NO MICROPHONES appear. I bought a microphone, external and plugged in, and it does not work as well. The microphone is not as important to me as the issue of the speaker, but I still want this corrected.

    If anyone can help? I know that I probably did something wrong and I'm far from being 'good' with computers... Any help would be appreciated!

    Thank you

    Amanda

    Hi Amanda,.

    Try the following.

    Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp52501-53000/sp52658.exe

    One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

    When you're done, shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

    Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

    Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  'Speakers and headphones' left click once to highlight, and then click the Set Default button - check if you now audio.

    Kind regards

  • A quick question on the microphone and speakers of M4

    The volume level seems a little weak because people appearing on the line does not hear me. As I do not have the right. A simple test with dictaphone (according to Google room of course) shows a very low level of entrants seems so I can't hear the recording properly with volume maximum speaker level of music (which placed on the lower edge). • Microphone and speakers do not work with Skype in my laptop

    Original title: audio and microphone

    My microphone does not work it is built into my laptop. When you use Skype I can't hear the party that I talk and they don't hear me. I don't know if my speakers and microphone are set correct. Help, please.

    Hello

    The problem only occurs with Skype?
    Follow the steps mentioned below.
    Step 1:

    You can use the connection from your sound card line to connect a portable music player, microphone or other device for audio input to your computer.

    Most sound cards have at least a line-out port to connect speakers and a line-in port where you can connect to an audio input device.

    However, the line of connection to your sound card is disabled by default. This means that if you plug an audio device into this port, it will not produce any sound on your computer until you enable the sound to connect online.

    To enable sound for the line

    a. open Control Panel > click on sounds
    b. click on the playback tab, click speakers and then click Properties.
    c. click the levels tab, and then under online, click the Mute button to turn on the sound for the connection line.
    The line of connection is disabled by default.

    Step 2:
    Check the microphone in the sound recording.

  • Equium A300D - microphone and speakers are not working

    I have an annoying problem.

    With my soundcard on its default pilot, I can't the microphone (taken before) to pick up something.

    Can anyone help?

    Hello!

    I put t understand why the speakers on board do not work with the last orders.
    Have you downloaded the driver from Toshiba?

    In addition, you should check if you have the latest version of the BIOS. There are two versions of the BIOS: one for Vista 64-bit and one for Vista 32 bit. In order to choose the right one do the update.

  • How to record entries and exits in file

    Salvation or

    I have the program with comments and a few outputs

    I try to record the entry and exit to the Office of the word or excel as this files

    Read and write file spreadsheet screw should do what you want.

    I have not taken the time to try to decipher what your program does, but I think you could replace all those knots of feedback and build tables by an integer data type and the rotation of the digital function > pallet of data manipulation.  You still have a node of or rfeedback to UPDATE for each of the four signals.

    You duplicated code: divided by 65535, multiply by 2, and minus 1 followed by a > comparison.  That make a Subvi and place 4 instances on your drawing.

    These simple changes will make understandable schema, reduce its size to the size of a postcard, and facilitate subsequent changes.

  • How to record and play Audio

    Hello

    I want a code example to learn how to record audio and play audio recorded

    Can anyone help me regarding this?

    Thank you

    Pounet

    Try this code, it works for me.

    To record the audio. Note that this code records audio in the device memory. Just change the url to save the code in the sd card.

    try {}
    Reader = Manager.createPlayer ("capture://audio?encoding=amr");
    Player.Realize ();

    RC = (RecordControl) player.getControl ("RecordControl");
    BT = new ByteArrayOutputStream();
    rc.setRecordStream (bt);
    FC = (FileConnection)Connector.open("file:///store/home/user/RecordedFiles/audio1.amr");
    {if (!) FC. Exists())}
    FC. Create();
    }
    OT = fc.openDataOutputStream ();
    rc.setRecordStream (ot);
    rc.startRecord ();
    Player.Start ();

    } catch (Exception e) {}
    e.printStackTrace ();
    }

    To stop and play the audio. Copy the following code,

    try {}
    RC.Commit ();

    data = bt.toByteArray ();
    BT. Close();
    Player.Close ();

    BI = new ByteArrayInputStream (data);

    Player = Manager.createPlayer (bi, "audio/amr");

    Player.Realize ();

    Player.Start ();

    } catch (Exception e) {}
    e.printStackTrace ();
    }

  • Switching between microphone and line-in in the Realltek Sound Manager

    Ok.
    Now I know where the Realtek Sound Manager, and I can control the parameters of the microphone and speakers.
    But how can I switch between microphone and line-in?
    At the moment I don't see a line of component option snap at all. Is it because it's a kind of auto detect and the opportunity every time I connect something?
    Everyone knows this, or has some experience in this regard?
    Cordially in advance
    Frans

    Sorry but I don't understand what exactly you want.
    You have built in mic or you can use the external microphone connected to the mic-in port.
    When the external microphone is connected a resident will be disabled.

    The question is: what do you want exactly and for what purposes? Please explain what is the reason for this switching between mic and line-in port?

  • How to record audio Microphone and PC?

    I've been looking for everywhere tutorials on how to do it, but don't can find videos of audition 3.

    I want to record my mic and PC audio at the same time (Yes, my PC supports "Stereo Mix").

    Thank you!

    Just hearing records everything that is given by your sound card or audio interface so you don't have to sort the parameters he who send the microphone and the audio PC to the record side of your system.

    How to do this will depend on exactly what your audio device and how you set the ranges.

    Once you have the end of the sound card put in place, the hearing is easy though.  Go to hardware edition/preferences/Audio and, if all is good on your sound card, it must appear as an option in the menu dropdown for entry 'default'.  You can also route the default output however you want to listen to things.

    A couple of points... the 'Device class' box allows you to specify the type of driver you are using.  Unless you have a specialist audio interface, it'll probably be Ms. also, the sampling frequency that you define in hearing must match what you set when you were selecting things on your audio card/interface.

    I don't want to end on a Downer, but many sound cards these days this force you to save on the thing or the other and cannot make a mixture of sources like XP and earlier versions of Windows used to offer.  Maybe that's why you keep finding tutorials for AA3.0... it was the last version designed around XP and previous versions.   I hope you're one of the lucky ones.
