  I already know the tweak registry and sizes of jpg Windows\System32\oobe\\info\backgrounds and others, and I need to know where to download a free utility that does this for me.  I can do (and have) myself, but that's not what I want to do now.

  I want to know is where Windows 7 saves the background image used as the default logon screen and the name of the image file.  It's not the Windows\System32\oobe\background.bmp.  I changed that one, but that does not change the default logon background image.  If it's an image file that has a name, I can change if I can find it.

  I found an app open source that runs as a standalone (it doesn't have to be installed) and will change the logon screen wallpaper.  The link is here:

• How to fade along with a background image.

  Does anyone have a suggestion on how better to fade along with a background image, which left and right side exactly blends in the background. In addition, it should be a very gradual fade.

  My image is a model of 18px 1900px X and it supposed to repeat on the y-axis. I did apply a layer mask, select from the left and the right 250 250px. Then I went to put smoth to 100% and the feather to 100px, and cut the fethers part to see the fade.  It worked well, but you are still able to see the visible lines on each display of color fade. The re is a better way to fade and other image or something else I can try to make the transition to choke?

• How to change 'Acer Log in background image' in the absence of Microsoft - Windows 7?

  I have an Acer (old) computer and when I start it up, there is a newspaper on the page with a background of Acer.  I would like to get rid of this and display the default Microsoft in the background paper.  Is it possible to change this, and if so, how can I go about it?  I looked for programs and features and find nothing on Acer.  Even with the registry except for points of management for my monitor Acer.  I guess that the 'context of Acer' is hidden somewhere, but I can't find it.  I'm running Windows 7 64 bit and have a new card mother Asus (M4A88T-M) and AMD Athlon II X 2 260 CPU if this info. is necessary.

  You can do this with some very careful registry and editing the file, but honestly, I recommend this free tool instead.  It makes it easier and more secure.  StarDock is a Microsoft partner company that helped build the themes of the Aero interface and the technology used in Windows Vista and 7.

  I know that your frustrations!  I have the same preference, it is currently not possible - but there is an update on its way (you can search for information on - it is called 8.1 Windows or blue Windows) which allows you to put photos or whatever behind the Windows 8 UI splash screen.  Update should be soon maybe some time this summer - August.

  I need to register align horizontally and vertically) about 100 images to the first. I don't want to stack or to merge. An ideal way to achieve this would be to be able to put the first image as a background reference for all images image in the group. There would be left/right buttons so I could make progress through the stack, a slider to adjust the visibility of the foreground image and up/down and left/right arrows so I could move the top image one pixel at a time in all directions. In this case, I don't need to rotate the image, but that would be something, that a person might want to control. So I propose through the image group, stopping on each of them to align the image to the first. One at a time, or after I finished, it would save all images aligned to a new file name and folder, without change the transparency of the image or in any way using the background reference image. Without rotating the images, each pixel in the new image would be the same as in the original, except moved. I would like to start by resizing the canvas of all the images, so that they have a border area. This way I can move the image and not lose everything.

  Your explanation changes everything. According to your original description, I assumed that placement of the image, no image content, was the criterion. Now, with additional details, may I suggest placing your reference image as the background and the image layer to join it on a layer above it. So, if you change the difference blend Mode, accurate record cancels all stars and present a solid black over the area. Use your arrow keys to get the image black overall. Then turn back to normal blending Mode. With the top layer selected, click in the upper right of the layers panel, choose Duplicate layer..., change the Document on new and name the file.

  In the example below claim the shutter speeds are stars.

  Note that you do not need to see the image of reference through the top layer. Difference blending mode confirm perfect registry.

  1. the image and duplicate. The two layers are perfect registry. Blend mode: Normal.

  2. image layer moved one pixel to the right. Blend mode: difference

  3. top layer image moved to the original position, pperfect registry. Blend mode: difference.

  (By clicking on the eye of the upper layer and will give you an idea of the approximate move to do at the beginning.)

  Hello, I see 2 ways to address them.

  1 use this browser fill background image and it will stay behind the footer. Second, half of the video below explains how.

  2. you can also use the tab layers in muse.

  • Create a new layer in the tab layers
  • Move the new layer under the existing layer (drag / move).
  • Select the footer items and move them to the lower layer of right click > move to layer > select the bottom layer. Make sure that the footer is below the layer that contains the background image. Check more info on similar layers: Adobe Muse Help | Working with layers
