How to remove the drive of DVD of Tecra M3
Have an old Tecra M3 which works, but had a defective CPU fan.
Have managed to get and replace the fan, I came across a problem annoying when disassembly of the case.
I could not for the life of get out me the DVD drive. According to everything I read the disc should come out just, but he wouldn't.
I couldn't find anything (like a button or a screw) that it locked in.
Anyone able to point me in the right direction (today more interest than anything else)?
See you soon...
KeV
Hello
The ODD on Tecra M3 is fixed with a screw on the lower side of the laptop. You must remove this screw first before you can remove the ODD.
Underside, there is a latch to remove the ODD. To remove first the screw next to the latch, then slide the battery bay latch, then you are able to remove the ODD.

How to remove the drive from the computer
We put in a music disk down load muisc
Hi House wife.
You should be able to press an eject button on the drive itself.
There is also a small hole on the front of the car you should be able to insert a paper clip straightened, which should eject the disc.
Also, you may be able to right click on the drive in Windows, computer and select "Eject". Chris

If I forgot my password and I want to remove my bios passwordHelp, please.
Hello, Konan
On this forum, we discussed several times on the BIOS password.
Anyway, as you can see BIOS password is very important for the security of the laptop and access to the data stored on the laptop. BIOS password removal is a kind of very secret and may not be posted in public forums like this. Many laptops in the world are stolen and blocked by BIOS password. It's easy to check some forums like this one and read how to remove BIOS password and unlock the mobile.
I hope you understand what I mean. Please contact the nearest authorized maintainer and let them remove BIOS password for you.Good bye

Hello
I think the disk replacement procedure is very similar to replacements on other laptops.
To remove the STRANGE bay module follow these steps:1. turn the computer.
2. remove the black binding screws.
3 turn the computer over and open the display.
4. push the module bay ODD.All that s. It s not achieved with a screw.

Hello
This notebook is not know for me but has checked some sites on the net and it seems that the top cover must be removed.
Then lift the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive to disconnect PJ700 on the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM of PJ15 card on the system board.
Remove the two screws that fix the Board Connector CD-ROM/DVD-ROM.
Separate the brace connector connector Office CD-ROM/DVD-ROM and CD-ROM/DVD-ROM CD/DVD-ROM driveWell, I think that it of not easy for a person without experience.
So if you n t know how to do and you have without much experience you should ask someone how knows what to do ;) -

Hello
It's very strange that you can not remove the optical drive as DVD - ROM drive Assembly is secured with just a screw on the underside. If the screw is removed, you just pull all of the DVD-ROM drive.
There is no other screws.

So the HARD drive Bay cover must be removed to access this screw procedure is not really difficult, so you should be able to remove it easily. -
S35dvd: How to remove the HARD drive?
Can someone tell me how to remove a hard drive from a s35dvd please? I can't find a manual anywhere, and I need to remove the drive to try to remove a virus load that I can't remove it with windows running or even in safe mode.

Hello
Unfortunately this Toshiba device it unknown to me and I don t have found all documents on the replacement HARD drive.
But as far as I know, there should be only 2 possibilities how to do to remove the HARD drive.
1.) under the disk HARD is placed at the bottom of the unit and you should only remove the cover of the HARD drive.
Or2.) HARD drive is placed in the Notepad. In this case you will need to Remover the keyboard and some covers to replace the HARD drive
Well, I can give you only that info. I think that if you want to know the detailed instructions, you should contact Toshiba service partner because it has a more detailed information on these cases.

Satellite A30 - how to remove the hard drive
Hi, new here...
Can someone tell me how to remove the hard drive in my Tosh A30...
Thank you
captainpHi Tim,.
The hard drive on your SA30 is in the optical drive, but slide the optical drive out of its housing (undo the F5 marked screws on the bottom of the laptop).
The hard drive will be visible fixed with four Phillips head screws that need to be removed (two on each side of the hard drive. With the removed screws, gently slide the hard drive toward the front of the laptop to disconnect its connector and carefully pull it out of its Bay.
