  Well well well, you will look like this?  When you mentioned "libraries", I remembered that a few weeks ago I was cleaning the menus and screens under WMP and apparently I went in organizing-> customize the navigation pane and unchecked near pretty everything in there.  I just went and restored these options by default and viola ~ music and images options are coming back as if by magic.  Do not understand the logic behind this, but the problem is now resolved.  Thank you.

  My request here is, is it possible that I can select all the pieces that I have selected in iTunes and delete all of these songs in my iTunes library.   Basically, I recently bought a new laptop and I've been moving all of my music from the old laptop to the new aid, sticks of memory of 8 GB that I don't have an external hardrive and would rather not pay for someone else to come and move the contents of my hard drive from one to the other. On my previous laptop, I had a playlist containing all the songs I want on my phone for synchronization purposes, as I had too much music to store it all. For reasons to keep this playlist and without having to build all over again I first transferred the music in the playlist of phone. The problem is I now want to transfer the songs that aren't in that playlist aswell, but I can't find anyway to select only the titles so that I can drag them into my memory stick. I can't delete the songs in the playlist one by one as there are almost 6000 titles in there then, obviously, that would be very time consuming.

  I would recommend before you do anything destructive with your library you backup your iTunes for Windows with SyncToy library. It is also the tool I would recommend that you use to transfer the library to a computer, first back up and restore then (in a folder empty) to the other machine. Doing it this way means that you get the sides play heads of prosecution, playlists, date added, and that you don't have to erase and reload your content. It also ensures that you have a backup! Hard drives external are quite cheap and you should not skimp. That said, if the two computers are on the same network, you can use SyncToy to copy the iTunes folder from one to the other, if you open the folder music sharing on a computer, so it can be seen from the other.

  As for the original question, Ctrl + A to select everything in a playlist. SHIFT-DELETE to remove it from the library. But I really wouldn't like that.

  I think iTunes might be showing your iCloud music purchases. Go to the menu bar, and unselect display-> show iCloud music purchases.

  iCloud is a synchronization system, not a storage system. If you delete photos/videos on your iPad, they are removed to iCloud. To increase the available space, go settings/iCloud/Photos and select optimize iPhone/iPad storage.

  I've just updated to version 12.3.2.35 today and the localizable.strings file is not the same aspect it was.  There used to be just a bunch of channels, where I would like to delete those contained in the / * = Genres = * /, / * = kinds reduced = * / and / * = with Genres = * / categories.  However, the localizable.strings file looks like now as if it was some kind of compiled code or something and I can't seem to find where again to remove the default iTunes genres.  I don't really want to have a bunch of useless genres in my drop-down menus.  Does anyone know how to remove the default types?

  Looks like they changed to a binary file format, perhaps because changes to the file may affect the use of music Apple... which is unfortunate for those of us who do not use Apple music and wants to restrict the list of available types.  It can still be an alternative workaround, but certainly worth of reports via the iTunes of Apple Feedbackpage.
