How to restore my saved passwords?
Just by mistake, I deleted all my saved passwords. In any case to restore. Using FireFox 34.0.5. Help, please
If you still have the signons.sqlite which was used in a previous version of Firefox, then you can try to restore the password stored in this file.
32 of Firefox and later versions store the passwords in the file logins.json in the profile folder and no longer use the file signons.sqlite that was used before (the corresponding signons3.txt file is always required).
If you have the file signons.sqlite used in previous versions of Firefox, then you can try to force Firefox to migrate passwords stored in this file (you lose passwords saved in Firefox 32 + versions).
You can force Firefox to re-import the passwords in the file signons.sqlite and regenerate the file logins.json with the following steps:
- reset the signon.importedFromSqlite pref on the topic: config page by default via the context menu
- Delete the logins.json file in the closed Firefox with Firefox profile folder
When you restart Firefox, then you should have the pref signon.importedFromSqlite with the value set to true and you should have the passwords into password manager, unless he could have errors.
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder currently in use:
- Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: see file (Linux: open the directory;) Mac: View in the Finder)
You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.
You can accept the warning and click on "I'll be careful" to continue.

How to restore the saved bookmarks if they aren't .json?
A few weeks ago I backed up my Firefox bookmarks into the computer. Now my windows had to be relocated in case of emergency due to Trojans and all c (Windows), including the browser, was lost and now I installed again. But I tried to restore the bookmarks and I can't because it isn't a .json or .html file, it is just a file, it is said. How did this happen and what can I do?
Hello, how do backup you initially? When you have done so through built-in to firefox, you can simply try to rename the file in file.json (or .html in the format that you chose to export)...

How to remove the shared password for XP?
I have a XP computer on my network. I am connected to a Windows 7 computer through it. Now instead of asking the password, when I click on the computer icon, it automatically opens the computer windows 7. How to clear the saved password?
If the user of the XP machine is connected to Windows XP with the same user name and password as a valid user on the Windows 7 computer, then it will automatically authenticate without asking for a password.

Suddenly all of saved passwords are gone on my pc. How can I get back them?
All saved passwords disappeared suddenly. It's there, but I restart my PC and open my Firefox and none of them are there.
How should I restore them? The extension 'Remember password' has been reported to cause problems with passwords disappears, so if you have this extension and then remove (uninstall) it.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.
- Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

You would need a copy of backup of the files logins.json and key3db (eencryption key) If passwords are really gone.
You can check the logins.json file to see if the file contains documents from password. You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder currently in use:

You must wipe the drive and reinstall the operating system.
Unless you want other snooping in your files you need more than just delete your user names and passwords from different places on the computer.Do not wipe the recovery partition. The recovery partition is a small part of the disk that contains the files needed to restore the computer to factory State, see the computer user's manual or check the manufacturer support site for the from.

I was looking on a saved password when suddenly my computer crashed and restarted. After reboot I couldn't see the saved passwords.
As a test, I saved a password and this password is displayed in the list of saved passwords, but all the others are still missing.
How can I retrieve my saved passwords?Thank you!
If the file has no valid data then you may not use this file.
You can try if there is an earlier copy of the logins.json file.
