How to rip a dvd that I made to what happens on my count and is stored in memory

I have made a dvd and tried to tear in my system if I could save it on my computer (vista). I don't know how to do or even know if it's possible can help you. The dvd is of my daughter to school game.

Two methods you could try...

(1) download and install the freeware VLC
Media Player.

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

VLC Media Player
http://www.filehippo.com/download_vlc/
(works on XP/Vista/7)

Create a new folder on your hard drive and
name the same as the DVD.

Insert the DVD into your DVD drive and close
all the windows that can launch. Reach... Start /.
Computer... and right, click the drive letter
the DVD drive is on and choose open or
Explore. This will display the directory of the
DVD.

Then copy the VIDEO_TS folder of the
DVD to the folder that you created.

(right click / copy... right click / Paste)

To read the DVD... right click on the folder you
created and the menu,... Choose... Play
with the VLC Player.

(2) using the free software Format Factory... you
can download and convert the video DVD
a format like WMV, so you can play with
most any multimedia player... and correct it in film
Maker.

* Be aware that the breaking of the protection against copying
on commercial DVDs is illegal *.

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

Format Factory (freeware)
http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Format_Factory
(the 'direct link' is faster download)
(the file you want to download is: > FFSetup280.zip<>
(FWIW... installation..., you can uncheck
('all' boxes on the final screens)
(Windows XP / Vista / 7)

First, you will need to decompress the file or just open the
Drag FFSetup280.exe out of the folder
and drop it on your desktop. To install left click.

Next, after the download and installation of Format
Factory... you can open the program and
left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)
are converted)

Insert your DVD into your DVD drive.

In the left column of Format Factory... go to...
"ROMA Device\DVD\CD\ISO" / DVD to the video file...

Open the DVD menu and select the drive
the DVD is in. The files of the DVD should appear
in the setting of the output window. Select (check) the
main feature for the conversion (the one with the longest
duration will be the actual film)

Choose the WMV format and the left click the
Convert button. Back on the main screen, left click
the Start button.

Now, all you have to do is wait. It is best if you do not have
multitasking while video is rendered.

That's all... Format Factory has many settings
You can set but this should be enough to help you
has started.

I cloned the drive that my images are on a hard disk that is tougher to travel.  Think of this as an extra back upward.  How to run LR using that drive rather than what he became in general?  My plan is to return to the top/clone the drive trip to the typical reader when I go home.  The catalogue is available on a MacBook Air I'll use at any time.  It is not just enough space on the hard drive of MB Air for images.  I thought of naming the road trip with the same name as the player who is at home, and know that LR, but I think I'll get confused by doing this. The info on the two drives is the same at this point.

    Thank you.

You use the update folder location command, as explained in part 2 of this document: http://www.computer-darkroom.com/lr2_find_folder/find-folder.htm

You can consider using Smart saw instead of wearing of the pictures with you on an external drive, if you have the space.

  • How to create a DVD that contains many videos?

I used the first 13 items to create several projects and then published in the form of video files to watch on your computer. Now, I would like to burn these projects on the same DVD. I saw the video on the subject to make a video with markers, but I would rather my separate videos. It is possible to combine the projects and thus get all the videos on the DVD somehow?

    Ferro1945

First 13 items on what operating system? Have you updated 13 to 13.1 with a project open Help Menu/updates to date?

    For your immediate question...

If you have several video files on want present on DVD disc as DVD VIDEO standard or widescreen on DVD disc, then

    a. you put side to side on timeline Publish + share/disk/disks and DVD with presets of the project = DVD Dolby NTSC or NTSC_Widescreen_Dolby.

    b. If you want your visualizer to be able to navigate through the content of the DVD during his reading with the DVD player, then you work with chronological markers, like judgment at the end of each movie content Timeline markers - you don't put a stopper at the end of the last file on the Timeline.

What you wrote, I think that you have lived it. Therefore, I'm not sure of your intention

I would like to burn these projects on the same DVD. I saw the video on the subject to make a video with markers, but I would rather my separate videos

What follows is what you have in mind?

If you have several projects, each with the content of a film to enter the very end project, then export the content of each project and then import these exports in a new project for the actual burn on a DVD disc. If this is the case, we can speak of project and export settings for each project.

Please review and give more information. For any question or need more information, feel free to ask.

    Thank you.

  • How to use the entry that is provided in the form of report parameters and use it in a field to a report parameter.

    Hi, I'am, creating a new report, which is a combination of ' form_letter & tabular ' style.

    I also created a report with 2 inputs parameter, which is 'to_date' & 'from_date '.

The value that will be inserted in 'to_date' & 'from_date' in the parameter_form, should be displayed in the report.

So to do this, I created a field for 'to_date' & added the code for him in the pl/sql Editor.

    the code is as below:

    function boolean return F_TO_DATEFormatTrigger is

    date of f_to_date;

    Start

f_to_date: =: PF_P_TO_DATE;  VALUE ASSIGNMENT (f_to_date) OF ENTRY OF PARAMETER the REPORT (PF_P_TO_DATE) FIELD.

    return (f_to_date);

    end;

BUT I GET THE ERROR MESSAGE "THE FOLLOWING LINK VARIABLE IS NOT SET TO REP-0730: PF_P_TO_DATE.»

I tried to decode the error, but I think that the problem is different. (The code above only works if "PF_P_TO_DATE" was part of the statement of the query, which is one of the columns of database, but PF_P_TO_DATE is a parameter). So can someone please help me with how can I take the value of input parameter and display it on the field in the report?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Basically, you need to print the date two file - entry mark on your report.

    1. you get just two entry.

    2. in the layout - on header of page - Insert filed-> select source Frm_Date field.

    3. Repeat step 2 for the Date of filing.

Now you should get that don't you need.

If this isn't the case, work let me know the details.

  • What happens to the extra 12 GB 8 GB memory RAM that I installed Vista Ultimate 32 bit?

    Hello

Could you please tell about the question in the topic?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

    It's a very simple answer

a 32-bit windows system cannot use RAM 12GBs

You can install 4GBs of RAM in a 32-bit operating system; and that's the limit

Read any article of microsoft relative to your question:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929605

System memory shown in the system information dialog box in Windows Vista is less than expected if the 4 GB of RAM is installed

Read the explanation of Microsoft here and on the link above.

"If a computer has 4 gigabytes (GB) of memory (RAM) installed, system memory shown in the dialog system information in Windows Vista less than you would expect.

For example, the system information dialog box may report 3 120 megabytes (MB) of memory system on a computer that has 4 GB of installed memory (4 096 MB). "

to use your full 12GBs RAM that you need a 64-bit operating system

  • WMP does not save my new downloads after that I play more, what happened

I download a song and read it in WMP, it adds to the library then next time I open it, it went.  I find the song, I fix me by recently added, I even tried changing the location of the file, and then play again, but he won't stay in the library.  The only way I can keep the song in WMP at all is if I put it in a playlist, but even so it still isn't in the library.  Any suggestions?

    Hello

Thanks to Community Microsoft can help you with your concern for Windows!

    1. You are able to locate the downloaded file on the computer other than the Windows Media Player library?
    2. The question is limited to a file of the song? What is the file format of the downloaded file?

Method 1: You can run the utility for troubleshooting the Windows Media Player library & check if the problem persists.

Open the troubleshooter in the Windows Media Player library

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-Windows-Media-Player-library-Troubleshooter

    Method 2:

Library of Windows media player may be corrupted. I suggest you to rebuild the Windows media player library. Follow these steps.

    1. exit Windows Media Player.

    2. Click Start, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player in the search box and press ENTER.

    3. Select all the files in the folder, and then click delete on the file menu.

Note: you don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

    4. restart Windows Media Player.

Note: Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. exit Windows Media Player.

    2. Click Start, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft in the search box and press ENTER.

3 select the folder Media Player, and then click delete on the file menu.

    4. restart Windows Media Player.
