  Do not use the cluster.  Instead, press ctrl + space and type 'to boolean array.

  This should convert your integer in an array of Boolean.  Just be aware that the first item in your array is the LSB.

  Also, before you get too in the development of this application, you should take a look at some of the basis for LabVIEW courses.  I'm guessing that you come from a background of basic text.  It would make sense that you define struct bob and tell more later bob = 3?  It is not sensible in LabVIEW either.  That's why your son are broken.  If you want to convert data types, you must do so before connect the two wires together.  Otherwise, you'll have data conflicts.

  There is no way to scan directly to Word.  Simply not possible on this printer.  Not sure if this is possible on any printer to scan directly to Word.  What you can do, and it of a bit tedious, scan the document into a .pdf file, save the PDF, open the PDF, select all the items in the document, copy it to the Clipboard (Ctrl + C or right click and select copy), open Word, create a new document and paste the Clipboard into the Word document (Ctrl + V or right click and select Paste).  It is the only way to get the scans in word without conveting them form a .pdf, .doc or .docx.  I'm sorry.

  Scan to PDF is not available when you use the built in Windows drivers. Since there is no software of full functionality for the PSC 1215 in Windows 7, you will need to find software of third parties to scan in PDF format.
