How to scan using Vista 64-bit? (Works on Win7)

"HP PSC 1350 all-in - One Printer" is not allowing me to scan by pressing the physical printer scan.  I don't seem to have the software to run a scan, and I do not see the feature in context menus.

The printer scanner works as expected with another computer running Windows 7.  The printer will print as it should since this 64 bit Vista computer.

How can I get this computer to analyze?  Thanks for any help!

  • How can I upgrade Vista 32 bit to Vista 64 bit on a Sony laptop?

Hi there; Please tell me how I can upgrade Vista 32 Bit to 64 bit Vista on a Sony laptop?
Without having to install a new 64-bit version and then I lose my Sony laptop platform,.

that would prevent me from making the web.

(I like to keep all my installed Sony devices & drivers more bits & bats).
The disc tells me that the upgrade function is grayed out and pass through the windows!

    But does that mean?

    Peut-there please help me someone?
    Thank you very much.

    Hello

There is no way to upgrade from 32 bit to 64 bit; they are different operating systems.

It must be done with a new installation of the 64-bit operating system.

First thing to do is to check with Sony to see if 64-bit drivers are available for your machine:

Call the manufacturer of your computer.
Ask them a set of recovery disks. The cost should be minimal.
Make sure that tell you them the whole story, including the "torrent".
At the same time, ask them if you had a recovery partition setup on your computer.
If so, ask them to teach you how to use the recovery partition. For the benefits of others looking for answers, please mark as answer suggestion if it solves your problem.

  • Drivers Vista 32-bit works on XP 32 bit?

I got this HP model a6544f since a few months now and find that much too much my older hardware (scanner, etc.) and 16-bit software (which I use daily) simply does not work with Vista or a 64-bit OS. I prefer to use XP 32-bit where all happy lives on my old machine. But the driver for this system only specifies Vista 32 - bit or 64 - bit. I already added a "real" video card to get digital and put output at power level to manage this card. If necessary, I suppose I could live with the 32-bit version of Vista, but would really prefer to use XP. (I think of all the "improvements" in Vista as nothing else that candies for the eyes, and you have disabled as many of them as possible anyway.)

Does anyone know if Vista drivers 32 - bt for different systems of motherboard will install on XP 32 bit? It will make you life easier if they do!

    Thank you

    Greg

Hmmm... all the drivers I need are components of the motherboard . I was under the impression that HP (Compaq) plus their own Board of Directors. This would imply that it won't be manufactured by 'component', all the drivers no?

Motherboards are circuit boards, which don't require drivers.  Components (i.e. the device IC) soldered to the circuit require drivers.  They are made by the respective device providers. for example peripheral chips done Intel Intel, NVIDIA is peripheral chips NVIDIA, Realtek is peripheral chips Realtek, so on and so immediately.

And no, HP does not motherboards.  Even if it did, nothing would change, he wouldn't have the IC device used on the motherboard.  HP gets the device drivers to the sellers of the device, as everyone (including the motherboard manufacturers).

That said, you should have no problem getting the current XP drivers.  All devices in this system are suppliers that make drivers available to the public.  There are some sellers who don't release drivers for the public, like Atheros, Analog Devices, Broadcom (only for wireless cards), Sigmatel (IDT) and a few others, but your system does not all devices from these suppliers.

Here are the devices that require drivers of your system:

Agere LFW3227 Firewire (provided by the seller of BONE)

You are using a PCI-E graphics card so the drivers are not necessary for the graphics card Intel integrated, which is automatically disabled when you use the PCI-E x 16 graphics card.  FireWire and USB controller drivers are now provided by Microsoft for OS later to Windows XP SP1, make sure you get those through the operating system, service packs or Windows Update.

To answer your original question, some driver packages can support Vista and Windows XP.  For example, I downloaded a driver Atheros WiFi Dell's who did the support for Windows Vista.  But when I extracted the driver files, it contained drivers, and other files required for both Vista and XP, but the real drivers for Vista are not compatible with Windows XP.

  • Satellite Pro A200 how to get a Vista 64 bit of Toshiba Recovery disk

I have a portable satellite Pro A200 computer and I would like to install Vista 64-bit.
As I read it, you can use the 32-bit key to install the 62-bit version. Is there a way to get the "product recovery disc" in a 64-bit version.

    Or download it from somewhere

    Hello

What OS came preinstalled on your laptop?
If it's a 32 bit Vista OS, then you can only get a 32-bit Vista Toshiba recovery CD.

If you want to install another OS, no matter if it of XP or Vista 64-bit, you must purchase the operating system of Microsoft.

PS: as far as I know the key to series used for Vista 32 bit OS is only an OEM key and it does not work with other operating systems!

  • Cannot install audio maxx using Vista 64 bit on Qosmio F50

    Hello

I just did a clean install of Vista x 64 and installed the audio drivers Realtek from Toshiba.
The problem is that the Maxx-audio plugins do not appear in the Realtek Control Panel and do not work, even though I see a MaxxAudioAPO20.dll in the System32 folder.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

    Hey Buddy,

For me it looks like there is something wrong with the order of installation as well as drivers have you already installed? Normally the driver chipset and Windows updates must be installed first and then the audio driver. All you can download on the European driver of Toshiba download page.

I used the following installation order:
    -Windows Vista 64-bit
    -Service Pack 2 for Vista
    -Chipset driver
    -Display driver
    -Sound driver
    Driver LAN-
    -WLAN driver
    -etc.

  • Satellite A500 - how to move from Vista 64 bit to 32 bit?

    Hei guys,.

Recently, I bought my new A500 series - 14 c and installed the 64-bit version of Vista. What is happening is that I later discovered that a USB sound card that I use doesn't have vista64 drivers yet, so I wanted to reinstall the OS and choose Vista 32 this time.

I was wondering how I can do? Can I just create the recovery DVD using Toshiba Recovery? Who will ask me this that IF I want to install or will it just restore the latest version?

What other ways can I try? My computer did not bring any DVD, so I guess that the two KIND of facilities are always stored on the HARD drive. I don't know where or how to use them.

    > I recently bought my new A500 series - 14 c and installed the 64-bit version of Vista

I guess that you have formatted the whole HARD disk during the installation of 64-bit Vista.
    Is this good?

If yes then you would not be able to get the Vista 32 bit OS back because you n t create the recovery disk before installing vista 64 bit OS.

The Toshiba laptops Toshiba recovery disc Creator called tool.
This tool allows you to create the recovery disk that you would help to redefine the laptop to factory settings.

If you don t have this drive and if you are not able to create it so you could order from this page:

  • Problems printing L7590 (Vista 64-bit); works perfectly on XP Pro SP3

    Hi all

New L7590 on Vista 64 bit on HP Pavilion A6720F has problems.  When I print a page to test simple (or something else), she prints about half the page and prints then completed three pages, each with one or two lines of strange characters at the top (small faces, @ signs, hearts, call you).  Meanwhile, the computer makes that sound that you hear when you connect a new USB device about 4 to 7 times.  It also provides that the sound when you copy just a document, but it works.

I have attached the printer from the box of my XP Pro SP3 and it printed as a champion of CorelDraw and Adobe Acrobat Pro, in addition to a good one to test page printing.  None of these USB connection sounds were heard.

    ideas?

The problem is not with the printer!  It is with the Pavilion/Vista 64 operating system.  HP Pavilion support solves the problem.  HP OfficeJet does not know how to solve the problem.  Here is the address that they realized that me and once the drivers have loaded issue resolved.  http://www.NVIDIA.com/Object/nforce_vista64_15.24.html good luck.
