How can I set up my new laptop without using my email and password or how to set up a second user?

Hello

8.1 Windows and Windows RT 8.1, that you have created a standard, an administrator or the child's account, you can also choose one of the following two ways to connect:

  • With a Microsoft (an e-mail address and password) account. Signature with an e-mail address and password allows you to use your favorite applications and your unique settings and preferences on any PC.

  • With a local account. Signature with a local account (with or without password) allows you to use the files, settings, and applications on your local computer only.

If you are an administrator, you can easily add accounts of users through laptop settings. For instructions, see creating a user account.

You can see the following link for details on the user account.

  • ISA500: How to set up a second WAN-IP-Range on the same line WAN?

I have an ISA570 and my ISP put the additional IP range on the same WAN line as the existing one. How to set this up? Best regards and thank you very much Jens

    Hi @jens.leipziger @....

But the ISP just incremented the mask of your stove or put a completely different extra range?

In the case that he attributed to a different subnet, you cannot configure the ISA with a range of IPS 'secondary '.

You can do with Cisco routers and L3 switches with the "Ip address x.x.x.x secondary"command configuration from the interface."

See the following link for more information about the configuration of ISA:

  • How to set up a second monitor with a different view than the one on my laptop? [was: ron]

I'm trying to set up a second monitor with a different view than the one on my laptop.  I have a HP Pavilion dv5 laptop and a secondary monitor View Sonic UP2365-LED.  They are connected with a cable 15 pin... my only choice on the laptop.  When I select the second monitor, it displays a box of a second on my laptop and the secondary monitor.  My pointer moves on both screens at the same time, no matter what display, I select the monitor 2.

It depends on the whther the laptop can support both points of view.

Somewhere with the right button on the desktop, choose "screen resolution" and that there should be only a drop down menu entitled "multiple displays".  Looks like you have "displays a duplicate" choose (if it will leave you) "to extend these screens.

  • LaserJet Enterprise M577z MFP: LaserJet M577z MFP - how to set up SMTP account user individual device-based servers?

    Hello

I have created multiple user accounts of device (local computer accounts) for different people who will use the scan-to-e-mail function on the M577z. Each person / user has a different e-mail provider (and the different e-mail address) and I need to enter different SMTP servers and ' from:' addresses to each device user account in the "Digital Scan / send - email setup" e-mail on the EWS (embedded Web server).

However, so far I put servers SMTP configuration and only "of:" Correo electronico for all users, but not for each user individually. But this is not just because X user should not be able to scan and send from address of mail belonging to the user Y.

How can I set up separate SMTP servers and ' from:' addresses in SAP for each user, individually?

    Thank you!

In fact, I was able to fix it myself.

In "Digital Scan / send - Email Setup ', under"Address and control field Message"I changed the option of ' of:' of ' default:' to ' address of the user (sign-in required).

    Thank you, in any case.

  • How to set audio stops, the user continues?

I need to set up audio, so that it stops because the user has completed their tasks on the slide, or, for example, you press the button continue.

I need to do this, because many users will have no audio on, it seems that the project dragged (when it is in fact the audio is just to play).

Someone knows how to do this, if it's possible? With the help of CS5.5.

    Thank you very much...

If you are talking about audio level slide, it should immediately stop when you leave the slide.  (Object level audio is a bit more complex to work with).

If you've got your button set continue upward with the action to continue, so he'll do exactly what... continue to play the slide and whatever audio is about it.  However, if you change the action the button to go to the next slide or move to the slide XX then the audio should stop immediately as soon as you leave the slide that you were on.

Can you confirm if this works?

  • How to set up the second hard drive

My Mac Pro has two, the hard drives of 1 TB.  I had originally planned on the use of the second hard drive for Time Machine.  However, instead of using Time Machine, I now save by cloning my first hard drive to an external hard drive using Carbon Copy Cloner.  I did not use Time Machine in a year and do not expect that I have to use more.

My first hard drive fills up-I have about 150 GB unused on it, and with video editing I'm is squeezed.  What is the best way to configure my system so that I can use my second, now sleeping, hard drive? Is it possible of them gang up together so that my system will behave as if there is a 2 TB HDD?

    Thanks in advance.

    Yes. It is called RAID.

    Hi David,

In accordance with the license agreement if you want to use the same adobe ID code must be installed on 2 machines, you can install, however, you can only use 1 at a time.

If you want to use at the same time on 2 different machines, you must add a seat more on your existing team account and assign it to another email address

The link below is the terms and Conditions: http://www.adobe.com/legal/licenses-terms.html

  • Setting up the second hard drive preinstalled

I have a Pavilion m9250f equipped of Windows Vista 64-bit with two 500 GB hard drives.  The first hard disk is almost at capacity (available 15%), and I want to know how to set up the second disc for use.

    Hello

The SATA controller mode setting is in the bios. F10 will get you into the bios. Back up your data before attempting to make any changes.  If you use the RAID mode then then you will need to enter the Intel RAID CTRL + I utility at startup to disable the parring.  RAID 1 is extra protection in case you have a hard drive failure.  If you disable the RAID 1 parring so be sure to perform backups at a frequency you can live if you experience a hard drive failure.  When the RAID 1 parring is disabled, then the second hard drive will be available for data storage (more than 500GB).  If get you there, then you can do a quick format on the second hard drive.  Now you should be able to move the folders you want to the second hard drive.

  • How to set the variable USERPROFILE of another user?

I have the main account that I use and an admin account to call anytime, that I need (for security system). I recently came across problems with repartition my hard drive (it's a bit difficult to change the size of the partition between a basic volume and an extended volumes, even with a third-party utility that performs its work until Windows starts and wanted to completely pass the two user profiles (and preferably both program files)) (, but I can't even more with after discovering that most of my programs have themselves out of their expanded paths and not system variables linking the search through the registry) for the extended partition. I was trying to see if I could do that through a batch file (whose content I have so far for the non-admin will be shown below after this post), but I can't find anything in the registry that I could change. My question is twofold:

    1. I try to take the right path by using a batch script to move the two users? If I did do something wrong and if so, what?
    2. How could I put a variable user for another user on the same system? (It is a continuation of question 1)
    3. (Second question) Is it possible to move my programs Program Files/Program Files (x 86) runs on my D: drive and operate them out of that? I was also wanting to have just my system files and similar to run on my C: drive, because of the drastically limited space. The only exceptions to that would be the dozen of programs that are installed in the folder root (aka C:\whatever).
I tried repartitioning earlier, because I wanted to make room for my C: drive D: drive much smaller to create many more. Here are the sizes of partition for each partition on my HARD drive:

    • 100 MB (OEM Partition)
    • 9.77 GB (recovery Partition)
    • 58,59 GB (C:, OS, 6,49 GB drive left... not enough for me to copy it to my iTunes songs about library 1 200 on it from my old netbook)
    • 229.63 GB (D: drive, too much for my tastes here)
I wouldn't mind if I ended up having to save my D: drive format before that, but I don't know how useful it would be.

Code for the batch file (I named it moveuser.bat)
(the first line and the last two lines are to refuse to execute the batch file and DO NOT EXECUTE comments)
    GoTo EOF
    cmd
    title moveuser.bat
    MD C:\TEMP\cmdtmp
    MD "D:\From C\Users\" " " ".
    MD 'D:\From C\Program Files files.
    MD ' D:\From C\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files.
    CD C:\Users\Isiah
    Robocopy ".» "------" "D:\From C\Users\" /e /mt:2 /copyall /dcopy:t /tee /log:C:\TEMP\cmdtmp\tmp.txt ".
    set USERPROFILE = "D:\From C\Users\""" "
    CD appdata\local
    RD ' virtualStore\program files (x 86) \aura4you "/s /q
    CD C:\TEMP
    RD /s /q cmdtmp

    : EXPRESSIONS OF FOLKLORE
    REM 'DO NOT RUN. "

Your system is too complicated. If you implement it then it'll keep you causing pain. Much better to keep things simple as follows:

    • Move the 'My pictures' folder on the D: drive.
    • Move the 'My music' folder on the D: drive.
    • Let your profiles on the C: drive.
    • Let the program files on drive C:, if only because many setup programs will create their files in "C:\Program Files (x 86)" instead of using the % ProgramFiles (x 86) % as they should.
This approach will free a lot of space on the C: drive. It will also allow you to put your iTunes library on the D: drive.
A few comments on your batch file:
    GoTo EOF
    cmd
    . . .
    : EXPRESSIONS OF FOLKLORE
': EOF ' is a built-in label that references at the end of the batch file. You jump to it as follows: goto: eof. Have a line of the form
    : EXPRESSIONS OF FOLKLORE
interferes with the integrated label. Get rid of it!
The "cmd" line is not necessary and will have unexpected side effects. Get rid of it.
