How to specify SQL custom querying the db with option to delete logical adapter

Hi all

I write a composite SOA application using JDeveloper SOA Suite 11.1.1.4 connection to a SQL Server database with the help of a Secretary of the poll the DB adapter with the logical delete option to send data to a BPEL process.

I have requirements that go beyond what is supported in the UI JDeveloper for polling of the adaptor DB options, namely:
* update several columns to mark each line read, and
* specify different SQL to remove operation logic based on if bpel surveyed data processing was successful or not.
A complicating factor is that the query contains two tables. Here is my complete use case:

(1) mark will select data from two tables: for example 'headers' and 'details' simplified for this example:
Table: headers
HID - primary key
name - plate
status - "raw", "transformed" or "error".
processedDate - null when the data is loaded, the DateTime current when the treatment of the line
Table: Details
HID - foreign key pointing header.hid
attr - name attribute of data
value - value of the attribute data

2) there are a many relationship: 1 from detail lines to the header through the hidden columns. The adapter db SELECT the voting clerk must return results of an outer join consisting of line a header and the associated detail rows where header.status = 'no' and header.hid = details.hid. (This is supported by the UI Jdeveloper)

(3) the survey data will be sent to be processed by a bpel process:
(3.1) if the bpel treatment is successful, the logical delete operation (UPDATE) must set header.status = 'transformed' and header.processedDate = 'getdate() '.
(3.2) if bpel treatment fails (for example hits a data error during the processing of the selected data) the logical delete operation (UPDATE) must be set to 'impossible' = header.status, header.processedDate = 'getdate()' and header.errorMsg = '{of the text returned by bpel}.

Several parts of the #3 are not supported by the UI JDeveloper: update several columns to mark the addressed line, using getdate() to fill a value of one of these updates to the column, update of different operations based on the results of the BPEL, processing of the data (success or error) and using data from BPEL treating it as a value of these updates of column (error message).

I found examples that describe the specification that is customized by using querying SQL Delete option to create a template and then modify the toplink files to specify custom select and update SQL to implement a logical deletion. (for example, http://dlimiter.wordpress.com/2009/11/05/advanced-logic-in-oracle-bpel-polling-database-adapter/ and http://myexperienceswithsoa.blogspot.com/2010/06/db-adapter-polling-tricks.html). But none of them match what I have in my project, in the first case because maybe because I use a newer version of JDeveloper and the second I think because in my case, two tables are involved.

Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you, John

Hi John,.

You raised a good script.
First of all, let me say that the purpose of the DB of the election operation, is to have an option to start the process of a DB table/view and not update several fields in a table (or have other complex manipulations on the table).
Thus, when choose update a field in a record, after reading it, you "say" the engine not to question this record again. Of course, I guess you can find a solution/workaround for it, but I don't think that this is the way...

The question now is what to do?
You can have another DB adapter where you can update the data after you have completed the process. In this case, after reading the data (on the query operation) - updated the "transformed" for example = header.status and after processing the selected data update the rest fields.

Hope it make sense for you.

  • How to call a method of the AM with parameters of Bean managed?

    Hello world

    I have a situation where I need to call the Managed bean (setDefaultSubInv) AM, under value changes Listner method. Here's what I do, I added the AM method on page links, and then at the bean call it

    Class [] paramTypes = {};
    Object [] params = {};
    invokeEL ("#{bindings.setDefaultSubInv.execute}", paramTypes, params);

    It works and be able to call this method, if there are no parameters. Say that I pass a parameter to setDefaultSubInv(String a) method AM, I tried to call it bean but raise an error

    The string available = 'test ';
    Class [] paramTypes = {String.class};
    Object [] params = {DISP};
    invokeEL ("#{bindings.setDefaultSubInv.execute}", paramTypes, params);

    I'm not sure this is the right way to call the method with parameters. Can anyone tell how to call a method of the AM with bean to manage settings

    Thank you
    San.

    Just do the following

    1. your method in the Client Interface.
    2 - Add to Page Def.
    3 - Customize your Script like below one to reach your goal.

    BindingContainer links = getBindings();
    OperationBinding operationBinding = bindings.getOperationBinding("GetUserRoles");
    operationBinding.getParamsMap () .put ("username", "oracle");
    operationBinding.getParamsMap () .put ("role", "F1211");
    operationBinding.getParamsMap () .put ("Connection", "JDBC");
    Object result = operationBinding.execute ();
    If (! operationBinding.getErrors () .isEmpty ()) {}
    Returns a null value.
    }
    Returns a null value.
    }

    I hope it helps you

  • HP laserjet 1200 using windows7, wired to the printer with a USB to parallel adapter

    HP laserjet 1200 using windows7. My computer has USB ports, but no parallel port, if the computer is connected to the printer with a USB to parallel adapter. Sometimes works very well, sometimes States printer system as ready, but do not print. Reboot hardware and upon restarting, I got a page to print. Next attempt to print updates the document in cue, but is right there - no error message. Finally, after several reboots, I managed to do print (have no idea how), but now I had to print 20 pages one page at a time. It will print no more than one page, even if I have to print the 20. Next time I start the computer I don't know if the printer will print. Do you need to use the same USB port each time, or are USB to parallel unreliable maps?

    Hey renradd!

    Unfortunately, in addition to the adapters USB can be unreliable. Only a new printer, I don't know what it will provide you with a fix for this problem. You can try a different card if you have one, but if it still does not work, I would look for in a printer capable of supporting your computer.

  • Get the "selected lines" value after sql custom query in the database adapter

    We execute a custom query in a database adapter. With other technologies (JDBC, etc.) the result of a query produces not only a game but the number of lines selected results. For example, the output of the script of Oracle SQL Developer will display something like:

    9999 selected lines

    at the end of the output of the script.

    I would like to obtain this value for a BPEL process. Of course, I could run a 2nd interview whose where clause is identical to the first, but select count (*) instead. However, it is not only ineffective but (in rare circumstances in an active database) could be the problem.

    It is not obvious to the novice BPEL how to get the selected value and the result set row in an Invoke. Is this possible?

    Maybe it's not the only solution - but this is how I did in the past.

    After step to invoke the adapter, use a step of the having-right/copy to fill a variable of integer type BPEL using the xpath count function...

    That should affect the number of records returned by the query.

    I hope this helps.

  • How to connect SQL Dev to the local database?

    Hi all

    I have a local database on my laptop. I connect to the database using direct connect without the listener and tnsnames.ora, because I stopped him.

    How can I connect my SQL Developer to the database using direct connect?

    Thank you

    Probably what he finds through explore paths such as path.

    If on Windows, via the path to the files of Oracle binaries, probably it will look 'default' ORACLE_SID HKLM\Software\Oracle\ "tone" and spawn then oracle.exe with the value of the SID as an argument.

    For a more definitive answer, we can wait until the documentation is being updated with the connection type "local". :)

  • How to make SQL * more count the comment and blank line numbers?

    Hello

    Parameter
    Value of the parameter
    Oracle versionEnterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.1.0 - 64 bit
    OPERATING SYSTEMLinux Fedora Core 17 (X86_64)

    I would like to know, is it possible to force SQL * Plus to provide the number of the current in the source file line whenever there is an error? I often put in the first line of my script SQLBLANKLINES the VALUE ON that I may be able to put several consecutive blank lines in my code (I do that sometimes, when I find that it is appropriate to make my code more readable or a sequence of instructions which I believe make their logic more comprehensible for the reader of the Group)

    Now the problem is that SQL * Plus will ignore these empty lines and whenever there is an error, the line number in the error message does not match the actual line number in the source file, but it seems to be the last non-empty line in the file.  Consider the following example:

    SET SQLBLANKLINES ON;

    DECLARE
        var PLS_INTEGER := 10;
    BEGIN

        var := 20
    END;
    /

    In the code above on line 9 (also counting blank lines), there is an error (no semicolon at the end of the var: = 20) but when I run the script

    SQL * also, here is the error message I get

    SQL > @myscript.sql;

    END;

    *

    ERROR on line 8:

    ORA-06550: line 8, column 1:

    PLS-00103: encountered the symbol "END" when expected in the following way:

    * & = - + ; <>/ is mod remains not rem

    < an exponent (*) > <>or! = or ~ = > = < = <>and like2 or

    like4 likec between | submultiset of type multiset Member

    The symbol ';' was replaced by 'END' continue.

    SQL >

    As you can see the error message indicates that the error was found on line 8, while in the file, it's really on line 9

    As long as the number of lines in the script is limited, this may not be a problem and we can quickly find the actual line number in the code that causes the error, but for a code, including hundreds (or even thousands) of lines and with many comments and blank lines, find line number given by SQL * error message more becomes complicated.

    So my question: is it possible to make SQ * more properly draw the line numbers, as they appear in the source file?

    Thanks in advance,

    Kind regards

    Dariyoosh

    Hi, Dariyoosh,

    The line numbers in error messages are always from the beginning of the statement, but not the file.  The back-end which checks the errors and generates the error message, has no idea if this statement has appeared in your file, even if the statement was in a file at all, or if it comes from multiple files, each with its own line 1.

    You can divide your scripts into parts, so that the long statements, which may lead to error messages, are each in a separate file, so the statement starts on the line 1 of the file.

    For example, you can call a script called fubar.sql, which looks like this:

    SET SQLBLANKLINES ON;

    @@fubar_1

    Which calls another script, called fubar_1.sql, located on the same directory as fubar.sql, that looks like this

    DECLARE
        var PLS_INTEGER := 10;
    BEGIN

        var := 20
    END;
    /

    You never call him directly fubar_1.

  • How to specify a custom design rule?

    I want to have a design rule to find the names of table > 27. The supplied rule is with a length of 30. Seems like it should be pretty easy to do if I could copy the current rule and modify, but I can't seem to find a way to even see the code for the current rule.

    Thank you.

    Hello Kent,

    These rules are build-in before support for custom rules has been added, and you do not see the code. There is a custom rule example provided with the tool and I posted some rules associated with the physical model here in the forum.
    Here are two examples:
    (1) without the function definition

    if(table.getName().length()>27){
     false;
    }else{
     true;
    }

    you see there is no return statement, the last expression is taken as the return value, and this might be confusing
    (2) with a function definition

    /define
    function checkName(table){
     if(table.getName().length()>27){
      return false;
     }else{
      return true;
     }
    }
    //invoke it
    checkName(table);

    The rule should be created for the Table object and motor set to "Mozilla Rhino.

    SQL * Loader: release 11.2.0.1.0 - Production

    The CTL file has two clauses INTO TABLE due to the nature of the data. The data presented are a subset of data in the real world file. We are only interested in the lines with the word "Index" in the first column.

    The problem we need to do face is, according to paragraph INTO TABLE appears first in the corresponding CTL lines file to the WHEN CLAUSE it would insert and the rest get discarded.

    1. statement of Create table : create table dummy_load (varchar2 (30) name, number, date of effdate);

    2. data file to simulate this issue contains the lines below 10. Save this as name.dat. The intention is to load all of the rows in a CTL file. The actual file would have additional lines before and after these lines that can be discarded.

    If the INTO TABLE clauses were put in the CTL file, then the first 5 rows are inserted and the rest are in the discard file. The line 6' th would have a ""rejected - all columns null. "in the log file. "

    Could someone please take a look and advise? My apologies that the files cannot be attached.

    Unless you tell it otherwise, SQL * Loader assumes that each later in the table and what clause after the first back in the position where the previous left off.  If you want to start at the beginning of the line every time, then you need to reset the position using position (1) with the first column, as shown below.  Position on the first using is optional.

    Thank you.

    Yes, you can restore and recover the backup, but not at the moment. You will only be able to restore and recover at the time of your backup.

    For example.

    If you take backup (mount point with no mode of journal archive) at 06:00 and your grave database crashes at 21:00, you will be able to restore and recover until 06:00. You will find all the changes made to the database between 06:00 and 21:00.

    If you want your database to recover until 9 PM or until a point in time, then you must put your database in log mode archive, and then save the archives.

  • PL/SQL to run the exe with the DB settings

    Hi all

    I have a little problem.

    I'm in the need to write that all connection, disconnection and connection fail data to the Windows application log. To do this, I already tried various solutions, but with my configuration (EE Oracle 10.2.0.4) and Windows Server 2003 R2 X 64 the only possible solution is (apparently) the following.

    I create a Table with the information I need:

    OPEN c1;
    EXTRACT the c1 IN v_sid, v_serial, osuserid, machinename;
    INSERT INTO logonaudittable VALUES ('FAILLOGON', v_sid, v_serial, sysdate,

    -------------------------------------------

    The I create a trigger that starts each time something is written on the table.
    This trigger must start an EXE file which writes the last data written on the table in the Windows application log.

    So I need a trigger that executes my WRITELOG. EXE file adding parameters. For example:

    Run WRITELOG. Event time username sid EXE

    So my program will write a journal in Windows with these data:

    Event: opening of SESSION
    SID: 2938473
    Time: 12/12/2011 11:45:32
    User name: Scott

    And so on.

    I already have the program that does this, I need to run the program with the right data directly from trigger or procedure performed by my trigger.

    Hope that I was clear and REALLY hope that someone can help me!

    Thanks to you all!

    So practically I should create a job something like this:

    BEGIN
    () dbms_scheduler.create_job
    job_name-online "CONNECTION."
    job_type-online "EXECUTABLE."
    job_action => ' c:\yourdirectory\FILE. LOGON EXE ' | v_sid | » '|| v_serial | » '|| to_char(sysdate,'MM/DD/YYYY') | » '|| the user | » '|| osuserid | » '|| MachineName |';
    number_of_arguments-online 1
    start_date => SYSTIMESTAMP,
    enabled-FALSE, online
    comments => ' SQL * Loader jobs Demo');
    END;
    /

    and then I need to start this work every time that the LOGON trigger fires and it must be the trigger that inserts into the work, the arguments v_sid, v_serial, etc..

    ... I don't know how I can do this. What I need to create a procedure that creates jobs and the procedure is executed by the trigger? and how do you know the procedure to create the job with the data provided by the trigger. Sorry I ask much for the help, but I need this thing made in a time which is not compatible with me studying how to do it by myself. I will look at it, I want to know exactly how these things work, but now I need to speed things up a bit!

    Thank you for all the valuable assistance tfor!

  • How to access multiple VMs on the network with nic 1 host?

    Greetings,

    I have a server vmware running windows XP with 3 virtual machines in suse. I would like to access the 3 virtual machines from the network at the same time. The vm 3 has their own static ip address. I use the bridge network mode. There is only 1 NETWORK card on the XP computer. With this configuration, I can access only 1 vm the network at a time. When I added an another NIC and jumpered it on a second computer, virtual, then I can access 2 at the same time.  Any ideas on how I can access all the vm 3 at the same time on the network with just 1 NETWORK card?

    Even if you only have a physical NETWORK adapter, you should be able to access all the guests at the same time when they use bridged networking and have a correct IP configuration. Can you put your host IP configuration and your guests so we can check it out. Make sure the guests are really "bridged" and disable all firewall during the test.

  • How to detect an interaction of the user with a VerticalFieldManager object?

    Hello

    It is a question for those who have more experience with gui on BB things.  I use the eclipse with Simulator pack 6 and 9800 component plugin.

    I have a VerticalFieldManager (VFM) object that contains a few fields menu. I would like to detect when the user attempts to modify one of these fields, to load a file and update the menus. The thing is that these menus are usually not changed by a user, perhaps only once for the time up-front, something like the choice of your country and city and other, then you will not change that the next time around. So I want to avoid loading the file and simply use the settings saved in the place. Here is what I tried and the solutions I've had but NOT as aestatically

    (1) I can not load the file as a response to one of the modification of fields (using setChangeListener) because it is already too late and the present menu is outdated.

    (2) I can add a checkbox to the optimization of resources and take care to load the file and update the menus there. It works, but I DON'T want. It's ugly and not easy to flow!

    (3) I tried to setChangeListener for the optimization of resources, but it receives no change! Here is the code for my VFM:

    the final private class OkVerticalFieldManager extends VerticalFieldManager implements FieldChangeListener
    {
    ----------------------------

    ----------------------------

    ' Public Sub fieldChanged (field field, int context)
    {
    If ((contexte & FieldChangeListener.PROGRAMMATIC) == 0)
    {

    ----------------------------------------------

    -------------------------------------------

    }

    }

    }

    (4) I tried to listen to reminder to focus on the optimization of resources, but it is called by display from the beginning and it seems that I can't control it. I mean I don't want to be called until the user actually click on the object.

    So I hope that there is a better way to detect a user of ANY click or an interaction with the optimization of resources and I catch and do my thing, before the opening of the menus in there.

    Hope that this clear enough.

    Thank you.

    A few possibilities:

    1. you can check the field with emphasis (to use VOR getLeafFieldWithFocus()) in your makeMenu() and branch accordingly.

    2. you can define listener focus on each field change and bake menu items when its focusChanged() method is called with equal to FOCUS_GAINED eventType. There you can check the setting of field and prepare the relevant menu items.

    You can use the same setCookie/getCookie approach I have proposed before in both scenarios if you wish.

  • How to connect and to transcribe the interview with in first Pro CC

    I'm using Premiere Pro for the first time and I was wondering if anyone can point me to a good tutorial video and/or best practices for recording and the transcript interview with metadata of Premiere Pro and or the Metalogging window. The version of the application that I use is v9.2.0 Premiere Pro CC 2015 (41) Build on Mac OS X 10.11.4.

    Look at prelude CC as your logging application.

    Here is the blog post which may help you:

  • Problems when opening a photo directly with lightroom (excluding a file with the "Open with" option)

    Hi, when I installed everything first to lightroom, I open images directly into a folder with a right click on the image and choose 'Open with' option. Lightroom is a program offered in the list. After update of lightroom, the program is no longer in the list. I could manually choose the path and the exe file, but it still doesn't work.

    I found somewhere on the internet a solution where we had to change some paths in the registry for lightroom and delete the other values. He worked thereafter (apparently, the values in the registry is not updated during the update of the programme). When I switched to lightroom 6 is the same thing (can't directly open images more). Unfortunately, I didn't copy the page with the solution and I can't find any more. Anyone know how to fix this?

    OK, I found the solution: How do I put Lightroom.4.2 in 'Open with'?
