  I created a very simple animation for a client a few years in Flash Pro that has been used as a header on their site. That was removed a long time ago and they now want to come back. I opened this old file into the new CC animate and trying to find a way to export the file as a single file of HTML5. Everything I tried includes an additional Javascript file. Flash Pro enabled me to add the Google Swiffy extension so that I could go in the command menu and export to a file of HTML5 (I did when I created advertising banners in Flash Pro as well), but I just checked the page Google Swiffy and he mentions that Swiffy cannot be used as an extension with creative cloud. For now I so had to export the file as a .swf to Animate, and then uploaded to the Google Swiffy page and there it has converted into HTML5 file for me, and it works as it should. So my question is: are there at - it a simple way to export very simple (like banner ads as well) animated files in the form of HTML5 files only? And Animate allow Google Swiffy extension anytime soon? I can do a workaround for now, but would be nice. I haven't used Flash/Animate so long so I could be missing something very simple here! Thank you.

  If you look in the HTML code, you will see a line similar to this:

  You have now just an HTML file, you no longer need the JS file.

  The foregoing assumes that there is any vector animations. If you use images, they will find themselves in a folder of images.

• How can I associate between pdf files - so that the links work for all users.

  I have created a digital book with pdf files for each chapter and index individual (the files are too large to combine them into 1 pdf). I'll create links between the chapter titles in the index to each chapter (pdf). It works on my system, but the links do not work if I provide to someone else. Obviously, the link is the search of my ' computer / my account / my file ', and that the files are open on another system it cannot find them. There got to be a simple solution... somebody put me out of my misery please!

  You should only use this type of action for non-PDFs. For the links to the PDF format, use the type "go to a page view.

  You set the font size to a size that is suitable for the size of the document.   Size of the document may vary everywhere.   To resolve this problem in action, I solved in scaling the document to a known size then use a font suitable for a document of this size.  When you resize an image using size with resample Images not only checked a single pixel is change everything that is changed is the DPI image resolution setting.  So if you size a picture 8 "wide you choose a font size is good for wide image 8" the Save action.  To work around the problem of changing the size of the printing I wrote a Script to use in such an action.  The script is used twice, there is a backup and restore script.   The first time that the script is used the script records the resolution DPI images in the metadata documents.  The second time that the script is executed, it retrieves the registered PID parameter deletes the record of metadata from images and set the DPI images that had been saved.    If the use of fonts for the document 8 "will be resized to fit the print original size.

  How to pass parameters in local html files using InDesign, or how to pass info environment, such as the image, the html code is sitting on top in local html files in InDesign?  I try to use the code html-javascript, then simply pass parms to behave differently depending on where the code is placed in the folios of InDesign.  I don't know how to do it.  If I could read in some environment of the folio InDesign info by using html or javascript, which might work as well.  Please advise, thank you!

  In indesign, you can draw a box and connect the html code to display in this box, if you do it this way you don't let the application in browser.  In the control panel overlays folio, its web called overlays.

  a web-based flash application cannot detect the users directories.  You can use the method to browse class' filereference to let the user to locate a file in a directory that the user wants.  Flash can then recover the file name and type.  but, as mentioned previously, flash cannot determine the file directory.

  You are welcome.  I just checked and there is an onLoad parameter you can use in the BODY tag to ignite a javascript function.  I hope that's what this implies, that it is.

• In Windows 7, how can you 'Play All' videos in a folder, starting with a selected file?

  When I open a folder in Windows 7 Pro 64 bit that contains video files (.wvmv), and I click on Play All, it opened WMP and begins to play the first file in the folder.

  I would like to be able to select a file somewhere in the folder have the Start button play every play from this file, as if I was able to do in Win XP.
  Is there a setting that will allow me to do this?

  An alternative may be to open Media Player first and play from there.  Unlike previous versions, Windows 7 Media Player does not use its own database, it reads in the libraries of same as folders in Solution Explorer.  So if you open Media Player and click on the videos section, you can browse and start playback of the file you want.  And the default functionality is to continue to the next file after each of them, it should be similar to what you are looking for.
