  I use Apex 3.2.

  It's a shame. Just try to change:

  Report--> Column--> column formatting attribute--> Style CSS

  for width: 100px

  Also make sure that your text to column heading to enough short to fit into the column.

  I found that CSS Style settings for a column in the report only seem to work if you use a "Standard report column. Because the report is wider than the screen, some columns are packaging, making the report is not not-that-readable nice.
  
  Unfortunately, I have the need to define certain columns in report where unwanted packaging occurs as "display text (based on LOV, does not save the State)" and tried to avoid using packing "white-space: nowrap;" or by specifying fixed wide, but it seems I'm out of luck - y at - it a way around this (except by making the report query using a huge DECODE clause and definition of the "Standard report Column" column once again who) somewhat makes the useless LOV except for the selection list in the data entry form)? What is happening on APEX 3.12.

  It looks like it, or it's a [bug of long-standing | http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=1126613]. I tried it (but only have access to APEX 3.0 right now) and none of the attributes of the form element or column formatting tabular style/class/custom CSS are applied. If this is not a bug then it there as an enhancement request.

  In the meantime, you will have to work around it.

  Is it necessary due to a static LOV? If it is dynamic, based on a table/view, get the value of research in the query by a scalar subquery or join have a Standard report column then you can use the attributes of class/style/custom CSS formatting of column.

  You can stick with LOV text display and create a named column report model customized help [col/colgroup | http://reference.sitepoint.com/html/colgroup] to specify fixed-width columns.

  If we have a static report for one of the columns in the report, I need to give a characteristic click and a pop-up window will appear and there is a checkbox to select values on this popup page and finally after making changes and I press on apply changes, it must close the popup window and then come and change the value of this column only in an original report to the instead of refreshing the whole page.
  
  The report column is of type 'Standard report column.

  I'm new to APEX. I have a modifiable tabular report (SQL query). When I choose the column (which is a selection list) of a certain value, I want column B to be read-only (depending on the result of an another SQL described below). It doesn't seem to be a READ ONLY section in the type of tabular report where I could put my SQL condition.
  
  In other words, "column B" must be read only based on SQL returning following true or Exists:
  Thus, to determine if column B is ready only, I need the following logic:
  
  SELECT 'x '.
  of tab1
  where key = (value of column A)
  and the flag = "Y".
  
  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  On a page "Form on a table with report" created with the wizard, I want to add a new column to the report in the underlying table (this is the page of several row). If I try to add the name of the column in the query, Apex says:

  Hi Kim2012,

  Run your page and then on your report interactive, there are the search at the top of your report bar, there is a drop down menu Actions . Go to Actions-> Select columns.

  Select column has two pane .one is not displayed again are set out in the report.

  Newly added columns do not display the component, please move this column to the other side that is in view in the report pane.

  You can have dates instead of the name of the day, but you must ensure that your definition is very clear in your time dimension i.e. each week week 7 days. You table looks like his week to jump and you have each month as 30.31 or 28 days...

  Yes. As narrated by Sunil, you must change the property view as of column DESCRIPTION Standard report column if you use the component view. If you use Page Designer view, and then set the column of Type plain text and No special escape characters .

  I'm building an interactive report based on pl/sql block.
  
  In the report, I get the columnnames with link (underlined). I'm confuse when I have the chance to see the names of columns like AGE_SEX, AGE_SEX_
  
  When I see these columns of interactive report, it seems to be as same as the underline covers underscore.
  
  Is their anyway I can remove the link to the interactive report columns.
  
  
  I selected the link column exclude from the column heading in the report but still attack link gets the link in the column.

  I have a page with several area of report. I need to fix their width to a certain value.
  Width of the region is apparently according to the column width.

  1. is there a better way to define the width of the region to a fixed value? (not the column width setting)
