Printer AIO 8600 Pro expansion/reduction

Had to replace A.i.O. 6500 for the 8600. 6500 menu allowed me to increase (max 400%) or reduce the image, I wanted to print. This possibility is not given on the 8600. A big disappointment for me because I used the installation quite often.

Is it possible to find / create this option on the 8600. Software? I tried to use the PAINT program for this purpose, but is not the thing. I want to be able to set a percentage f.i. 125% or 80%. Thanks a lot for your comments.

Bingo! I finally got right. Although the "HP Officejet Pro 8600" device does not appear in the control panel any longer. There is the

I now have the following HP drivers in the list: "hp business inkjet 1000" which was also the default printer.

For printing, I find now under: "hp business inkjet 1000 properties of the Document" also the tab: 'Effects' with enlarge and reduce the option. THIS MARKET! Thank you very much.

I also tried to print from my laptop via my network on the "8600" that worked also.

I wonder where came the "1000". There was a problem with the navigation of the 'installation wizard pilot new' driver '6980"enlarged and it could be that the"Wizard"found and installed a different driver.

I have a printer HP 8600 pro works great with my computer Windows 7 & computer laptop, but not with my laptop Windows 8.1. When I tried to print wireless (I didn't try connected), it would print only the first pages of 2 or 3 of everything I tried to print. I uninstalled the printer and inserted the CD to try to re - install and I got an error message indicating that the printer does not work with my operating system. • Problems when scanning double-sided printer Officejet 8600 Pro Plus

    Hello everyone

    I recently bought a printer HP Officejet 8600 Pro Plus (CM750A n911g)

I am facing difficulties when more than one original double face scanning by ADF.

A single page works fine, but with several pages it works in about 10% of cases.

    This is what is happening.

In normal situations, side of first page the page is parsed, page is hit, second side is scanned, new page flips and ejects the page.

But there are times that when the first side is scanned the first page is fed into the ADF, the second page we begin to slide into the ADF, because the upper feed Dungeon rollers turning at this time here in time.

For the moment that first page trying to flip the machine 'sees' the second page and decided to eject the first page without analyzing the second side. It begins directly to scan the first side of the second page. (image is reversed 180% because the machine "thinks" it is the second part of the first page)

This is happening (not always, sometimes some pages are treated as it should be) up to the last page.

Last page is always correct, since there is no next page more to disrupt the process.

Anyone know what to do to avoid this behavior? The paper used is normal paper 80g.

I installed the latest version of the firmware in this machine (CLP1CN1304AR)

I'm starting to think that this could be a bug software and superior power rollers run too long.

I've tried different settings and this happens when starting a scan of the computer, but also when starting a scan of the screen touchscreen printer.

    Thanks for any answers

    Kind regards

    Ronny

    This one is over.

For those who might be interested, he has focused on the machine.

  • Printer HP 8600 bought Pro 03/09/13

My printer HP 8600 Pro Control Panel is fading and becomes hard to read. It looks like an overexposed piece. The light/dark control is Bright. Help please

    Welcome to the bluewater forums

I read your post on the screen display problem you encounter on your Officejet 8600. I suggest you to check to see if a firmware update is necessary and be able to reset the printer.

Get the latest Firmware and updates

Press the power button to turn the product on.
With the product, unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
    Wait at least 15 seconds.
Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the back of the product.
If the product does not light by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.

If troubleshooting doesn't help not solve your problem, then I would say call the HP Technical Support to see all the other possibilities for you. If you call in North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all other regions: click here.

  • OfficeJet 8600 Pro +-switch lamp cycling light then dim

My printer Officejet 8600 Pro + is brand new and is connected via my cable network. It works perfectly until now. Wi - Fi and fax are also well (deliberately) turned off / disabled & unnecessary.

The power switch has a beautiful green light to indicate that the printer has "power" OK - and the lamp seems to have two "on" States, namely 'dim' and 'bright '.

The printer seems to go into "Sleep Mode" OK, and the control panel goes off as planned after my predefined interval 'Sleep '. (I do not use the schedule options).  She also wakes up OK when I send a print job.  Once again, everything is going well so far...

While the printer is in this state of 'ECO' of low power, the intensity of the Green switch lamp varies slowly between high heat and Sun, on a cycle of 6 seconds - 3 seconds to "quick", then 3 seconds to "dim" and it keeps road - bright then dim then bright etc...

BUT... and here's my question... This lamp should stay there "dim" while the printer is in sleep mode?
Alternatively, the fact that he is back to 'light' all seconds imply that it is somehow failing to STAY fully 'asleep '?

I can't find clues about this in the manual of the printer.

Maybe I should raise a query with people to Support HP, but I thought I'd ask here first.

    Thank you in advance.

    Edited to add:
I would be happy to know that any other Officejet 8600 owner (or the owner of any other model Officejet) sees this same high heat/Sun behavior on their switch lamp?  Thank you.

  • CM750A: OfficeJet HP 8600 PRO print head cannot be aligned

My printer start pages to print, which are unreadable (see attachment). I did several times print head align, but it doesn't help.

You can see the test page printed, but also problems printing on pictures in my dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/j9jvhkmxk4ctlhj/AACZKQm_3IVi9ZJ2XhdIT2cva?dl=0

No idea what this might be and how can I solve this problem?

    Thank you, Vlad.

Thank you for your advice, but I solved the problem as follows:

    • IT specialis, I have many different features (mostrly interactive and interactive material), but I also have an old printer HP OfficeJet Pro 8600.
    • I checked and found that the two printers (Office Jet 8600 8600 OfficeJet Pro Plus and Pro) replacebale print head.
    • So I had a good opportunity to test my hypothesis, that the print head could cause the problem.
    • I removed the print head with kartridges to the printer that are not aligned.
    • I removed the print head of my old printer work and install in that cannot be aligned.
    • After that is was lined up well - IT WORKS!
    • The printhead with problematic printer cartridges has been installed in the old printer and I handled a bit with the cartridges...
    • After several attempts, it also works.

After these steps, the two printers work and the problem is solved.

My conclusion is this: the old print head problem to align it. For those who do not have a secod printer, it might be a good idea to buy just a printhead for replacament - hereby is a HP article on the printhead part number, as well as on the procedure: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02871867

Hope this might help someone else,

  • Printing with HP 8600 Pro

I have a HP 8600 Pro. I use an HP Pavilion laptop with windows 8.1. I printed a document that had 2 pages. 1 printed page, then I shut down the computer. (my mistake)

I turned the computer back on and tried to print in word, it says that 2 documents were pending. I tried to cancel the 2nd document and in the State, he said "delete", but it takes a long time. I turned off the printer hopeing that would clear it, but it didn't.

Now, I noticed that when I prine I get 2 things that say the following...

1 HP Officejet Pro 8600 (network)

    2 HP 4DEDB (HP Officejet Pro 8600)

If I use the HP Officejet 8600 (network), the printer prints. If I use #2 it will not print because it shows the State of the removal. What can I do to fix this? This printer is also used by my iMac.

    Hello cbbob,

I understand that you get problems printing documents using the Officejet 8600. I will do my best to help you! I recommend you remove the second printer, the first printer is to print a document. Please follow these steps:

I just the HP OffiveJet 8600 Pro and installed fine, but just will not print using wifi.

Printer detect the wifi network and connects fine using WEP and remains connected.

Software installed on Mac.  Had a little trouble finding the printer to start with (had to connect via the USB port), but finally managed to add a printer in system preferences. Have the box "Share this printer on the network" checked.

When I try and print a doc I can choose the 8600 (marked with a green dot, ready). The print queue window opens showing 'search printer', then 'the printer is not connected.

Prints fine when connected via USB.

  • Printer HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus works but the Scanner does not

I recently bought a Toshiba laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.  My previous laptop is a Toshiba also upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.  I have a printer HP Officejet Pro 8600 more all-in-one printer.  The printer/scanner works fine with my laptop more older but with the new laptop that I can't get to the printer.  I am not able to get the scanner to work.  I reloaded the software several times but the scanner still does not work.  The scanner works fine with laptop more old, even if it has the same operating system.  I get an error message that says "Scan of the computer is turned on.  You can start a scan from the printer.  Your computer is not listed as an available computer control panel of the printer.  If please restart your printer and try again. "Can anyone help with this?

    Hi ranjisamaraweera,

Even though I'm MVP I represent Microsoft or speak. If I can and will speak
    as I think.

The proper functioning of the printer and Scanner is the direct responsibility of the producer of material
and no windows. There are hundreds of these devices that work correctly on Windows 7 if
those who don't have no drivers and other interfaces which are not compatible to Windows 7 should be
written correctly. Of course many older devices are not supported by their creators for later
Versions of Windows. Microsoft passes but does not write drivers and interfaces
Printers and Scanners need to function properly. So, the manufacturer and no one else, is totally
Manager to see if there are interfaces and appropriate drivers.

Many device makers do not write new drivers and interfaces for older hardware because either
they cannot support the new methods or because they want to sell new hardware.

Personally, I don't think that Microsoft is lying because they also say that device manufacturers have the
Omos unique to provide the necessary compatible drivers and interfaces.

    I hope this helps.

While I wait for you, please use the following document, it can solve and no further action will be necessary. Printer cannot print black ink or color ink, or prints blank Pages.
