How to uninstall non genuine windows 7 with a genuine copy?

My genuine windows crashed a few months ago, my friend install it with non-genuine windows. That's what I'm not comfortable with. Then I ordered a new piece of OS my laptop manufacturer disk to install back my windows because I have no recovery disk. Can someone guide me to remove non-genuine windows with the real? I still have my windows activation key sticker on my laptop.

Thanks for the reply!

    I let someone borrow my desktop computer for a month and they have installed a non-genuine copy of 7 on it and I want to know if there is an easy way to get back to my real vista without the disc. I never had the drive with my computer, it came pre-installed with windows vista on it. I want to just return.

    Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

    They will tell you how to do this.

    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, Acer, recovery disk/s etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
  • Can I put a non-genuine copy of windows to a genuine copy of Windows 8 Pro?
    Now before anyone starts to judge I want to give some context as to what happened.
    I bought the upgrade Windows 8 Pro pack which was a student offered to host my new hybrid hard drive. I installed on my previous Vista hard drive and I noticed that I was required to install the pack to upgrade the disk with a previous version of Windows. Therefore, I decided install Windows 8 Pro Vista hard disk and clone new hard disk.
    The cloning went perfectly. However, when I entered the hard drive containing the Windows 8 Pro clone, it did not allow my turn and in Device Manager it does appear that the system. There is also a Build number located at the bottom right of my desktop screen. Think I should reinstall windows from scratch, I proceed to the real system command (the one containing Vista previously which is now upgraded to Windows 8 Pro) and decided to reinstall windows in the control panel and wipe all readers.
    I quickly realized that this is a mistake, because when I boot into the previously-Vista drive, reinstalling Windows 8 became a trial version instead (with XXXX to build lower-right again). In regards to the cloned drive, the error starting screen (that require you to reinstall windows because of lack of boot configurations).
    I lost the disc Vista it long time ago and I don't have the box of windows with me more. I copy down the so-called activation key but it's one with xxxxx-OEM-xxxx. Before this script together, under my computer properties, the product key seems to be forever in a State of "2 days before automatic activation" and when I click on it, he said: I'm unable to activate this product key.
    So that being said, I was wondering if I could just download and run a picture of a non-genuine copy of Windows in order to start a new installation (ie. choose with windows installation disk and reformat the drive containing the windows build demo).
    Thank you.
    I just decided to hell with it and contacted Microsoft technical support for assistance.
    Managed to activate my windows and things work fine now.
    Thanks for the comments without worrying about all of you who responded and sorry for taking your time.
    Solve a common problem of recovery with HP machines.
    If the original operating system is changed to a non - Vista OS, the Recovery Manager cannot be launched either office or by pressing f11 at startup. You can use the recovery disk to restore the computer to the original state of Vista. If you are using a non - Vista OS, you can use a third-party partition management program to recover hard disk space.
  • How to manage upgrades to Windows 7 with Windows 10 installed?
    So I have a fairly sophisticated question. My family computer is running Windows 7 Home Premium. I built my own PC game last Christmas and I installed the same version of Windows using the same product key. Since the free update of Windows 10 lance tomorrow, I have advanced and reserved my copy. Now, here's my problem: the version of Windows that I currently go to Windows 10 Home. Let's say I want to upgrade to Windows Pro 10. Currently, I'm lost on how should I do for this. I could go ahead and buy my own copy of Windows 7 Professional and install it and then upgrade to Windows Pro 10 or I could go ahead and install Windows 10 Home. But then after I have 10 Windows Home, how I would acquire Pro?
    After 10 of Windows is installed, you can purchase an upgrade to Windows Pro 10.
    The real problem is that you used the same product key Windows 7 Home on two computers. The rule is: a key = a single computer. You must either uninstall Windows 7 from one of the two computers (sooner or later, one of the two will move non-genuine)
    If you want to keep it 7 on the family computer then the best thing to do is to buy Windows 7 Pro and install it on your PC gaming and then upgrade to Windows 10. Note that the only other versions of Windows 7 are OEM / System Builder versions that require a clean installation of Windows you will need to re - install your games and other applications.
    Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/microsoft-windows-7-8-software/b?ie=UTF8&node=1286119011
    Another option would be to go directly to Windows 10 Pro by buying:
    Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2/175-5230408-0159517?url=search-alias%3Dsoftware&field-keywords=Windows+10
    The version of a $200 more expensive th has advantage of being a 'Retail' version which means can be move to a new game system. OEM versions are related to the 1st motherboard they are installed on the.
  • Buy this CD XP Pro will give me a product key that I can use to authenticate a non-genuine copy of Windows XP?
    My father-in-law has an old PC running Windows XP Pro SP2.  The PC itself is not among the major manufacturers and has had so many bits of kit has changed over the years (HD, motherboard, CD/DVD) that what it says on the tour is more accurate!  Some freelance computer programmer he updated this from Windows 98, and it ran fine until that MS has started running this configuration of authentication, when he discovered that he had a copy of dud (new for him, as he had been charged for a good!)  Obviously, he'd make his valid on the MS site copy, but that's all an expensive route - his PC is less value that they would him deducted, and it is shared as to whether it's bin and buy a new computer... but since he does whatever he wants, and it would be embarrassing to share, he would prefer just to fix this.
    I came across this on Ebay, which seems to offer a play version of XP Pro, for a price considerably lower than MS would charge him.
    Is it possible to make its valid copy of XP thanks to this road without HAVING to re - install using the new disc?  I ask because, despite read a lot of entries here, I still don't know fully the implications of retail vs OEM drives, and indeed, I've seen a few rows erupted between experts on the Board about how it's important.  And if it works in principle, it is important that the drive for sale contains the SP3 and it is still on SP2 (because he can't use WIndows Update because it has not got a genuine copy!)?
    Hoping you can help.
    Windows 7 was released in 2009, the date of your BIOS says 2007, which means probably that your system is provided with Windows Vista or Windows XP.
    In addition, he is a well known Windows 7 Home Premium license which has been used all over the web:
    Do a search on the web.
    Thus, you must either charge your version of Windows that came on your computer (Vista or XP) or consider purchasing a license of Windows 7 genuine.
