  At least, I got almost 1/3 of the original info (to the point above, just before the inscription in cursive). Now, I'm tired, hungry & end so I go for it finish in a race.

  About 8 months ago he gave me just in case it was something useful in it for me. I tried with a cd live linux & it worked well, but had to enter the boot sequence screen whenever she performed POST. He was nice to me so I decided to get into the BIOS to make some adjustments, but he had a pwd that nobody was aware of its existence (the machine was taken once for COMP USA for some repairs: a thing of memory). I tried the obvious & failed. After asking in some forums received a set of not tried those & in my impatience tried > 3 times in a row & system got locked.

  I left the machine sitting somewhere for about 2 months & it started with an OS DSL to a HARD drive, in the format VFAT16 usbFlash decided the other night to give him a chance.

  I want more than just enter to the BIOS configuration thereby screens lappy, but, for the moment: someone knows how to unlock/recover the pwd say?

  The mac license and the license of windows are 2 different products, mac and windows are 2 different platforms, so you cannot transfer the license between the 2.

  I think that you have accidentally activated the Num Lock
  NumLock key is used to convert a portion of the main keyboard to act as a pad instead of the letters.

  Usually you can find the info in your manual how to toggle NumLock
  In my case, I have to press Fn + F11 (in some cases FN + F12) to get that license.

The rest of the keyboard is fine. A regular toggle switch or a switch in a radio push button. The FN key acts like someone ripped the wires to the back of the switch and reverse the wires and the switch can operate in reverse. Beats me how this can happen to a laptop keyboard.

  Here are a couple of things to try.

  1. judgment of the laptop.  Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

  Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f9 to load the default values (sometimes it is f5, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

  2. try to change the default action of the keys 'f' as follows.

  Shut down the laptop.  Tap away at the esc you key start Notepad to open the Start Menu.  Select the Bios ( f10 ) option, and then change the figure in the document at the following link.

  When the recovery process is complete and you are prompted for a reboot just press start button / stop and turn it off. I think it's only thing you can do.

  Anyway, why not start Windows and go through the configuration option. New owner can modify this basic anyway parameters. As username Admin and language and the keyboard can be set as default.

  For example, if you have a picture of German recovery set to German. New owner can change in any case.
