How can I show all my sent messages that appear in folders separated as a unified under SENT list?

IIRC, you must first select an appropriate folder to hold a saved search. Mine are all in local folders.

  • Cannot view old messages on Thunderbird

    Hello

I added my hotmail account to TB, but I noticed that it only downloaded messages in the Inbox that I already had. The old sent messages show up, unless it's a new message I sent after you add the account to the TB. Is there a way to fix this? I want to be able to view the previous messages.

Sorry if this question has already been asked. I'm quite new to TB and I have not found (or did not understand) the solution of questions in the forum.

    Thank you

It sounds like you have created an email pop account

If you have a Pop email account, it can only e-mail access and download from the server Inbox.

It's not a quirk of Thunderbird, all pop e-mail accounts have the same any e-mail client.

    To work around this problem:
    In Thunderbird:

    • Move all inbox emails in other appropriate for organizing folders.
    • Delete emails you don't want to.
    • When the Inbox is empty, do a right-click on the Inbox folder, then select "compact".

Note: This makes it much easier to download the sent mails and you know who is who, so it is easy to move them to sent folder.

    • A browser webmail account login.
    • Move all emails "Sent" to "Inbox".

    In Thunderbird

    • Click on 'Get the Messages' to download these "Envoys" of server Inbox emails in the Inbox e-mail account.
    • Then move all emails in your "Sent" Thunderbird folder mail account.

I see how to view the source code of a message in my Inbox. If I send one of these messages, I wish I could view the source code of the message and change it before sending it. Is it possible to see and change the source message before sending?

The only way I can see to do would be to save the message as .eml, load it into a text editor and modify it, and then recharge it and then transfer it.
