How to wake up the computer from sleep
I have a Pavilion HPE h8-1100, 64 bit, Win 7 running. When computer goes to sleep, I have problems, he wake up. I tried different keys but nothing happens. Microsoft says to check the manual of the computer, but I don't see anything in the manual that tells me what to do. I end up turning off the computer.
I found touching the space bar or the 'any' key will sometimes wake him, but if he sleeps soundly, try pressing the power briefly - button not long enough to power it down, just enough to "poke" it.
I put a power of 'Never' option and called "Virus Scan" for when I want to let it run without me fall asleep on me. -otherwise the darn things NAPs more than my dog!

How can I fix the very slow response after the wake up the computer from sleep mode?
Never had this problem until a few days ago. Using Windows 7. I want to use the "sleep mode" whenever I leave my office (be it for a few minutes or several hours). Always came back just as I left it (tabs, work-in-progress, etc.) until recently. If I reboot, everything of fine, up to what I use mode "time" again. So painful.
Thanks for the tip. I disabled the accelerator according to your link and suggestions and the problem seems to have been resolved, at least for now!

What happens when Task Scheduler is scheduled to wake the computer from sleep mode
I have the windows vista Task Scheduler to wake the computer from sleep to run a command script. some tasks in the script work correctly and some do not. This is because the computer is "awake from sleep", whatever that means. This is not what is happening, because the tasks that the batch script runs when the computer is actually on, with display and all are very different tasks, it runs while the computer gets "awakened from his sleep", so what happens exactly when the task schedler wakes up the computer of mode sleep under vista? How is it possible to emulate a real awake state with the Task Scheduler to a State of sleep, according to a schedule?

If I let the computer to sleep, nothing happens when I move the mouse or press the Crescent Moon on the keyboard. The screen remains dark. Then I have to physically press the power button / stop and return to restart the computer. Help me, Obi - wan!

When I wake up the computer in "sleep" or "hibernate" mode, only the photo Office rises, not the icons, so I have to restart with a hard off every time. What can I do?
Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE and bring up the Task Manager > move in process > select Explorer > end task and it will restart and if all goes well it will bring to the top of your screen properly.
Your computer is completely up-to-date with all the updates?
Note I'm not a fan of setting hibernation or sleep a computer there, it can sometimes lead to problems (as you see)
I hope this helps.

How to wake up the computer with the mouse
original title: how TO WAKE up WITH COMPUTER MOUSE?
Hello. I have Windows 7. Can someone tell me please how to program the mouse to wake the computer? Thank you
Hello
Thank you for contacting Microsoft Answers.
I guess you mean waking up from his sleep. Wake from hibernation is possible only by pressing the power button.
If you use a USB mouse, it is possible. First, go to the configuration of the system (can be by pressing F2, or another key depending on the manufacturer). In the Advanced tab/view, you will find 'USB Wake Support' option. Activate it, save and exit the installation program. Now, you will be able to wake up your sleep system using the USB mouse.

Original title: cursor goes wild
My PC to 'wake up' sleep/hibernate, the cursor initially moving across the screen from left to right, in which window is open, destroy all the document is on the screen. I force Windows to close. How to solve this other than turning off standby/hibernation?
Looks like the cursor of the mouse is very sensitive when the computer comes out of standby or hibernation.
I suggest that you go in the mouse properties and lower the sensitivity and see if that helps.
You also need to update any driver mouse if possible.Let us know if that helps.

How many accounts do you have?Method 1: Run the troubleshooter of power
You can run the troubleshooter of power to set your computer's power settings. The resolution of the problems of power check things as settings timeout of your computer, which determines how long the computer waits before turning off the display or enter the mode 'sleep'.

Hey there,
From the start screen, by scanning the right to appear charms, press 'search', type 'power', press 'settings' touch 'power options', this will open a window in the office. On the left side of this window, you will see an option called 'change when the computer sleeps,' touch this, change the settings you want, touch "save changes" and you're done.
Hope that helped,

HOW CAN I STOP "BUFFERING"?
Hello
1. what web browser is installed on your computer? (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.)
2 are you facing this problem with any particular Web site?
Buffering or Streaming media is multimedia that are constantly received by, and normally, an end-user while being delivered by a streaming provider (the term "present" is used in this article in a general sense that includes audio or video.
A media stream can be broadcast live or on demand. Live stream is generally provided by a device called true streaming. True streaming sends the information directly to the computer or device without saving the file on a hard drive.
To stop the buffering or to increase the speed of buffering, there is no option within the operating system. Only way to stop or to increase the speed of buffering in some measure is to have a connection with a higher bandwidth. But note that as does you not an option of continuous play in CD or DVD.
Another work about that I do personally is to pause the video at the full buffering and watch the video once the buffering is completed.

The password on the computer is not recognized after resuming the computer from sleep mode.
Original title: windows password problem
This just started today. When I log on to the computer after having paused, it says that my password is incorrect. Caps lock is disabled and the password. Then I hard boot my computer & it will take my password. What's happening & how to fix it? Help please.
What do I do or what can I change it to something like a real password?
Now that you have at least a password that works you must run your own experiences. You might have a problem with CapsLock, NumLock or a few keys that misbehaves. Change a letter/digit at a time until the password fails, you must point in the right direction. We cannot do this for you.
