How we prevent confirmation prompt when you delete the files of the system, i.e. thumb.db

Whenever I try to remove a crease, a boring confirmation is poped by asking if I really want to delete a file system, I know it's just thumb.db.

I tried the solution, but is all about how to prevent the creation of thumb.db. I want thumb.db caching to speed up the fold views, but don't want to see the dialog box remove the file system. Is there a group policy or the registry to disable the confirmation of deletion of file system?

It is also well informed that you're going to get.  :-)  It would be the only way to disable to disassemble Windows code that handles of deleting the file change there, then replace the code in an executable file.  IOW, no.

  • How do these scamer know when you get the error message?

How scamer know when you get the error message? I don't know much about the computer, but I want to learn.

    Hello anthonyrodak,

They do not know. No matter that you're a beginner or a professional, everyone has problems with their computer and, frankly, it's that rely on what the scammers. They know that everybody has problems, so it is easy for them to pick someone at random and send them a mail (or by phone at them) and inform you that you are having problems. Of course, because you know that you have had problems, wrongly, assume that Microsoft comes to your rescue and support Microsoft took the time to communicate with you and help you solve your problem.

Microsoft does not work like that; they never contact someone directly about a problem they have with their computer - well no, unless that person has paid for the support program. It must be so ask yourself, do I have a paid support program? The answer is usually no. don't have I give my phone number to Microsoft? The answer again is usually not, so how can he ask for help me to be authentic. The answer is, it isn't, that's all just a scam.

Make sure that your anti-virus / anti-malware applications are up-to-date and, unless you have asked someone help yourself, don't give personal details to anyone you do not know and do not allow anyone to access your PC, unless you know them personally.

  • Error - the file name, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect. "(0x8007007B), when you exit the system restore.

    Original title: System Restore problems

Hello, I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit classic mode.  My system specs are listed under my signature.

Before installing a program today, I went to create a system restore point.  In system properties > System Protection, I see that in the Protection settings > disks available there are two instances of the C: drive tagged like this:

    HDD0 (C :) (System) Protection on (selected)
    HDD0 (C :) (Missing) Protection on

This is probably due to having recently replaced my C: drive with a disk larger to help to restore from a System Image backup.  The installation seems to succeed.  (I use now!)

Note: other readers in Protection settings are showing off Protection.

When I clicked on "Set up" in system properties > System Protection, I have seen that in the restoration of settings, the box "Turn off active Protection" has been selected.  I put the option button "restore system settings and previous versions of files.  In space, the slider was set to 0.  I put it to 1% (857,54 MB).

When I tried to leave the system of Protection for the dialog to HDD0 (c) I got this error:

There was an unexpected error in the property page:
The file name, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect.  (0x8007007B)
Close the property page and try again.

I deleted all restore points, then created a new restore point.  Current usage shows now 29,48 MB.  I still get the error when I try to the OK from the dialog box.  When I click on the system restore and start the Restore Wizard that I can see the restore point, I just created.

Any help to banish the fake player available and messages will be appreciated greatly.

  • AutorunsDisabled window opens when you start the system.

Whenever I start my computer (Windows XP SP3), a Windows Explorer window appears showing the AutorunsDisabled folder.  Nothing is in the folder.  I installed Windows XP-KB967715 - x 86 - ENU.exe and MicrosoftFixit50471.msi of Fix - It of Microsoft in the hope of preventing the Windows Explorer window to appear whenever I start the computer.  He still appears every time on starting the system or re - start.  Can someone help me with this problem?  Thanks in advance.

It's probably in your startup folder. Check. Start, all programs, startup. To remove the open disk (c), open Documents and Settings, open all users or the folder with your name (only in one, try all users initially), open a Start Menu, open programs, open start and if it is delete it.

  • Must system image file be in the same place, that it was created for Windows 7 to detect when you perform the system restore?

When you restore system files and settings from a system image, the WindowsImageBackup folder must be in the location that it was created?

    -For example -.

I create an image system on an external HARD drive, then later I want to do a restore of the system from this image, the WindowsImageBackup folder must be in the same place, it was created (in this example, the root of the external HARD disk) for Windows 7 to detect?

    Hi Keylonta,

Yes, it should be in the same hard disk and if it is not listed in the system restore point it is not possible to locate or detect the folder "WindowsImageBackup.

  • "The operation is not allowed in the current state" message when you delete the folder

I'm test ESXi 5.5 and mounted a datatsore of oriented export NFS in an attempt to redirect my ScratchConfig at this place. I found that I can create a folder in the datasore NFS fine but when I try to delete it, I get a message saying "the operation is not allowed in the current state. This happens on any of the files/sub-sub-sub-folders and only used account's root - I also confirmed that these directory drwxr-xr-x permissions.

As suggested by KB1003829 which is a bit useful, but not really, I restarted the management on the host agents but it made no difference. Has anyone else seen elsewhere?

I got this resolved, stumbling on the good guid for the NFS data store. Only after clicking around in WinSCP and realize that the NFS data store guid secondary, shorter - I then tried again to remove the original test directory and it worked.

On a separate but similar note, then I tried to update my position zero config by applying this same guid with the command "vim - cmd hostsvc/advopt/updated updated ScratchConfig.ConfiguredScratchLocation string vmfs/volumes / [guid] / logs" (followed by a restart of the host) and it worked also.

  • Show the name of the group in the query when you delete the resource

I IOM installation so that users and their managers can ask for ad groups and only managers can revoke this resource.
But when I remove only to see the instance instead of the group key real name because of that it is difficult to determine what resource to revoke
I see only the name of the resource (which is the same for all) and key

How can I view group instead of the key name.

Please tell me how, I need it urgent
    Thanks in advance

    Try changing tjspRequestShowResolutionTiles.jsp

You can follow these steps to achieve
    1. get the resource instance (it is available on the jsp page, check the page to see how it is used)
2 get the shape of process data using the method of tcFormInstanceOperationsIntf getProcessFormData (id from step 1)
    3. get name the tcResultSet returned in step 2 by using method getStringValue ("UD_NAME") where UD_NAME is the name in the form
    4. on the page, find where targetResourceInstanceKey is printed and replace with the value found in step 3

Let me know if it works
