However, when I have a second monitor attached (for example, an overhead projector) everything is displayed outside a video/film clip, which appears black. This occurs if Windows Media Player or Realplayer is used. All other programs and images are visible on the external monitor or laptop screen.

  I installed Windows XP Pro on the orig XP Home version. All drivers were installed and updated as required. I thnk I have a Raedon graphics card.

  Most Windows applications and video cards do not support playback of video files on the screens at the same time. You can try to disable the video signal going to the built in LCD screen and display only through the projector.

  You can change the order via system preferences > display > Arrangement. Drag the white line (menubar) on the second screen to make it primary.

I have another laptop and it has an option that is changing the image and the TV shows that what is supposed to be for show.

  I have a 1280 x 720 Samsung TV, I don't know the model exactly.

  The probem disappear when you change your screen resolution, or change the size of the elements, or something like that. It has something to do with the Panel of Intel, where there is a scaling option, in the tab 'display '. Well, there should be an option to select the scale, but it is not.

  So, to make it appear, you need to do this:

  1. connect the HDMI

  2 desktop, right-click, screen resolution, in 'View', you must select your TV, in my case "Samsung TV"

  3. you change the resolution from 1080 to 720

  4. then select Samsung TV as output ONLY screen, so the screen of the laptop turns off

  5. go in Control Panel (right click, graphics properties... office, display) Intel

  6. NOW, in the scaling box, you can move the 2 sliders and adjust the image, so now I can make it adapt to the screen

  Although it is a solution, and everything works fine, I don't like. I should be able to look at the screen of my laptop, and the most annoying is that steps 1 to 5 are reset every time you unplug the HDMI. It is a temporary solution.

  I want my nVIDIA GT 755 M to take control of the HDMI, I think that I could just plug the HDMI then automatically shows properly scaling the picture of my TV. Just plug and unplug, like all my other computers.

  How do you connect the second screen? Using HDMI? If so, please disable the sound HDMI playback devices

  I think you're trying in a very complex way.

  Your architecture using complex and ignoring the bluetooth codes related, I can see your second screen with a minor modification.

  In your DeviceMenuItem class.

  I have a new computer to dual screen in Windows 8.  When I do Ctrl + Alt + 2, my current window is moved to the screen 2 (and equivalent to 1).  Does anyone know if it is a shortcut of Windows 8 or another utility?  I have a nVidia graphics card and the 7200LE Panel is not shortcut (besides the stereoscopic 3D features that are disabled).

  The problem is that Windows seems to treat the key ALT GR (right Alt key for the keyboard layout of the French-Canada) as a combination of Ctrl + Alt, then when I press Alt Gr + 2 to type the symbol @, my window also moves to the second screen.  The equivalent problem is when I type the ± symbol (AltGr + 1 gives my character, and move the window), but this isn't as big a problem.

  Anyway, if anyone knows how to disable the Ctrl + Alt + 2 sets of shortcuts, or how to make windows treat differently the keys Ctrl + Alt, AltGr do let me know.

  I had the same problem, and in my case it was a third-party application that came with a USB to DVI adapter.

  The utility is called "MCTDUtil.exe" and is in "\Program Files".

  It has a visible icon called "Super Utility".  There, you have a menu called "Multi Display Control Panel".  The Ctrl-Alt-1 and Ctrl-Alt-2 are mapped to do exactly this: move the window being displayed 1 and 2 respectively.  You can disable the feature of this Panel.

  I suspect that this utility is not necessary and can be removed.

  Since the update to the Mavericks at work on Monday, I was unable to use the eyedropper tool to the three way color corrector on a dual monitor configuration in first Pro CC.

  I have all of my panels, outside of my program monitor Panel, on a screen. When I select the Eyedropper to the three way color corrector white balance and go to the second screen where my program Panel is, he turns his back on an arrow and I cannot select anything. When I move my Panel program to display as well as others it allows me to use it as usual. Unfortunately, this is not how I work and I would like that the program works normally.

  I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and found a solution. I will report to bug right now.

  Thanks for posting the workaround. It is a known issue that we're investigating. FOW now workaround is to:

  GoTo > System Preferences > Mission Control.

  Uncheck "screens have a separate space.

  System disconnection or re - start.

  The problems must be solved.

  What I try to do is:

  I have a sequence with two cameras connected to each other and another third camera which must be always visible on the screen (a sort of picture of image).

  So my I want to see the sequence of cam multi my first screen and playback of composite on the second screen.

  In fact, I can get it, but the third video is only show on the composite when paused (not during playback). IE a select a frame in the timeline manually third camera appears in the second screen), I play the video the third camera disappear from the second screen...

  This is the normal behavior?

  Is it possible to get the result I want?

  So my main screen on my second screen right left. (on the right you can see the camera with nexus, not the screen green screen).

  On my main screen I have the monitro multicam where I do not see my third camera, but is not a problem.

  

  When I push the game I got it (see the black line on the left of the second camera third screen appearing do not).

  PS: I saw a few posts with reference monitor, I try this but apparently not reading at the same time as the multicam so not what I want.

  It does not exist.  MultiCam can only show you the cameras in the multicam sequence.

  You could add the third camera in the sequence multicam temporarily, then cut between the two other cameras, and when this is done, remove the third camera...

  I upgraded Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 yesterday.

  Up to now the double screen/second screen was working fine after upgrade my projector not able to identify my laptop.

  When I select the Windows key + P I get the message error "your PC can't project to another screen. Try to reinstall the driver or by selecting the different video card"

  On my device-> graphics cards Manager, I see only Microsoft Basic graphics card.

  Can someone help what driver should I install? Also ask you to provide the link for the driver to download the same.

  If you happen to have some technical skills, then you can buy a replacement screen and replace it yourself. You can find a replacement screen online for less than $100.00. Use a search engine like Google or Bing with HP g6-2304tx as the search keywords.
