HP 15-g08nr: removal of the keyboard

I just bought a new keyboard for this laptop.  Can someone tell me how to get to remove it.  I know there is a certain area on the bottom that you remove to get to the keyboard, but none of them are marked.  Departing to dradles?  I know I have to remove the battery first.  Look I don't think that there are separate sections, so I guess I have remove the whole background?  If I am mistaken on this msg me please.

He contributed to a point, my laptop doesn't have the four plastic locking tabs toward the back of the laptop, while it was difficult to get out.  The manual showed 2 screws had to be removed from the bottom when we need 3 or 4 but I'll have someone come today to put the keyboard in place, I didn't force for fear of breaking up, but your link you provided has helped.  Thank you

  • VPCF12AFM - Disconnect / remove / replace the keyboard

My mother has a VPCF12AFM. She spilled liquid on the keyboard. Now, just a string of 'nnnnnn' is displayed. I want to connect a USB keyboard, just to see if it works - it does. But I don't know if the issue of 'nnnn' is because the internal keyboard is stuck or the computer just needs to be scrapped. It's better that it uses currently, so I want to reset it.

Should what screws I delete to actually remove/disconnect the internal keyboard? If the computer works with the USB keyboard, I either replace the internal keyboard wrong, or just leave it disconnected and have to use the USB keyboard.

    Thank you

    Mike

    Hi mbarbone,

I also check the BIOS settings, and we don't have any option to disable your computer's internal keyboard. I'm sorry but what I propose is to visit the Sony authorized Service Center in your area.

I will send you a private message regarding this process.

    Best regards

  • Satellite R630-14 days-how do I remove the keyboard?

    Hello

I bought a Toshiba Satellite R630-14 days, and I would remove keyboard to clean.
I tried to remove the plastic between the keys case, but I could not.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    > I would like to remove from the keyboard to clean.
In my opinion it of not necessary to remove the keyboard to clean it up.

First of all it of possible to remove the single key top. In which case you would not be able to remove dirt, you can first remove the CAP. But be careful...

In your case, I would use a piece of cotton and a few drops of alcohol to clean the keyboard

    Hello

Have you found that one slot at the bottom of the device memory or why you want to remove the keyboard?

I m not 100% sure but in my opinion the two slots should be placed at the bottom of the unit and the removal of the keyboard is not necessary.

Anyway, the Equium M50 is unknown to me but I think that the keyboard was fixed by 2 screws above the keyboard. If you want to remove the screws to remove first the cover plastic thin above the keyboard.
Then you should be able to set the keyboard but do not forget that you have also disconnected the ribbon cable that connects the keyboard to the motherboard.

  • Envy 15 j3z14pa #abg: the keyboard is messed up.

    Hello @AhmedouviX,

Please check back on the HP Forums!

I read your post on the keyboard does not not correctly on your computer laptop 15-3012tx of JEALOUSY and wanted to tender hand for you.

Since you mentioned the problem started after cleaning the system, you may want to consider the recommendations contained in the document for cleaning your laptop.

What do you call it, you have a stuck key. You can start troubleshooting the keyboard with this document.

Based on the fact that you have received a hardware error code, there may be one or more of the parts that are defective. What specific test you run that came back with this result?

You can also consult the owner's manual (page 95) if you want to remove/replace the keyboard.

  • Instructions to remove the keyboard of Satellite S855

My friend poured water over his S855 keyboard and the computer does not work. As this voids the warranty, I wanted to remove the keyboard, dry the unit and inspect/test for damage. I have worked on many laptops, but am not able to understand how to remove the keyboard of this particular model.

Can anyone provide detailed instructions as how to remove the keyboard? It would be much appreciated!

  • How to remove the keyboard on my Satellite Pro C850 - 14 c

    Hey, quick question.

How can I remove the keyboard of the laptop inside to give a cleaning?

    Thank you.

    Hello

I read that it is not very easy
You will need to remove the CD/DVD drive first.
Then, you will need to use a plastic stick to push the back of the keyboard of the ODD housing slot. The keyboard should be pushed until it lifts the corner on the upper surface of the case.
Then using the same slice of plastic lever to insert between the keyboard and top box, then gently lift the edges of the keyboard until all locks are unlocked.

By the way: this would be the warranty

  • Satellite C855 - 2 EV: how to remove the keyboard to replace the WLan

    Recently, I bought a Toshiba Satellite C855 - 2 EV.
As the performance of the wireless network card is a little disappointing, I bought a replacement NIC.

However when I tried to change the map, I was unable to open the laptop.
There are a few screws under the keyboard that must be unscrewed before being opened.

Unfortunately I could not remove the keyboard.
Does anyone know how the keyboard can be removed?

    Thank you!

I hope you know that replacement of a card WLAN or upgrade is not supported for doing something like that will void you the warranty. Another thing is the compatibility. Toshiba doesn't offer information on compatible WLAN cards so I m asking you already bought the new wireless network card.

Are you sure that it will properly work 100%?
Please think twice before you do anything. In my opinion, it is not good idea to cancel the warranty for the new laptop.

  • How do I remove the keyboard of a Portege R400

Can someone give me more detailed information about how to remove the keyboard of my R400. I want to insert the SIM card, but I'm worried about damaging my new laptop.

    Thank you very much
    G. Elmo

    Hi mate,

To add or remove a SIM card, you must perform the following steps:

    1. your machine must be OFF!
    2. Remove and unplug any cable attached and device (USB, parallel, etc.)
    3. remove the battery
    4. remove the keyboard by pulling cover upward where are the grooves on each side of the hood. You can also use a small flat blade screwdriver or your nails to pull up.
    5. remove the 2 screws that hold the keyboard down.
6 pull the keyboard slowly and gently up, you pull it toward you.
    7. the SIM card slot is on the right side of the motherboard, pull the crack slightly on the left side to pull up. It s like the removal of a SIM of a mobile phone :)
8 put the SIM card into the slot. The smart gold SIM card must be on top. (You should see the chip during the installation of the card)
    9. click on the slot facing downwards and push it gently to the right to lock it.
10 install the keyboard by placing the clips under the palm rest.
    11 Don t forget the screws ;)
    12 and the keyboard cover.
    13 fact.

PS: Thanks for reading my text, if you want to send me money, gold or champagner just ask for my address. ;)

    Good luck and good weekend

  • Satellite L745 - how to remove the keyboard safely?

    Hello, people!

I need help please. As the topic says, how to remove the keyboard?
It's because I shared tea on my keyboard and, fortunately, no key was damaged. However, now it is sticky, and it is quite annoying!

Can someone please help me with the entrance keys, Shift, back space * and other small keys at home.

    Thanks in advance.

    Sticky Keys?
I really put t know if you will be able to clean the little mechanism under the CAP.

OK you can try it. What you need to do is remove the key cap first. Pull it gently on the floor. It is set with small farmers in plastic. When the CAP is removed, you can check the situation and try to clean it up.

When finished put the CAP in place and push it all smoothly. You will hear clicking noise and everything should be OK again. Do it for all the keys.

Please take it very easy. If you damage this small mechanism you can immediately order new lkeyboard.

  • Need a guide how to remove the keyboard on Satellite L40

Someone at - it a guide to remove the keyboard on the L40?

    Thank you

To remove the keyboard, remove the 2 screws in the bottom of the keyboard on the bottom of the case.
And turn the computer over and open the display.

Open the three latches securing the keyboard:
All three locks shall be driven strongly enough to allow the keyboard to transcend the locks, but careful not to destroy the locks when pressed it.

Then you can lift the keyboard a little and turn it face down on the palmrest. Then disconnect the keyboard cable from the on the motherboard and remove the keyboard.

But note; Be always careful and don't use force!

  • Equium P200 1IR - how to remove the keyboard internal?

This portable soup spilled on the keyboard and now will not start, even with a wired USB keyboard. I want to disconnect the internal keyboard, because it seems that is what causes the problem. (I have experience). But I don't see how.

I did some research on the web and looked at http://www.irisvista.com/ (mentioned in another thread), but not found anything that seems applicable to this model.

    Hey,.

You should know that these disassembly guides not available in Internet so it s just good luck if you find guides or photos how to disassemble a laptop. These manuals are available for the service providers allowed according to me

Anyway, normally it s not difficult to swap the keyboard. As far as I know, so you must remove the door-keyboard. You can do this with a thin tool
After that, you should a few screws that attach the keyboard you have to remove and that s all

On the Web site that you posted, you can find more instructions for Satellite P200. Perhaps this model P200 is similar to your check it!

But to be honest, I doubt that your laptop would start after removing the keyboard, but you can try it. In the worst cases, you need professional help. An authorized service provider can check all hardware components. :)
