HP 15 Notebook: guaranteed

I recently bought on the 20th Februuary 2015. a new laptop. I thought would come with one year warranty, but had a flash of the box to the top of this morning asking me if I want to extend my warranty and he told me my warranty expired the 26/12/2015. It only gives me one year is that OK or not. Can anyone help

JAD

The system has an alleged date guaranteed built in based on a duration average of plant for sale. The warranty is really one year after delivery to the detail, so if you have a problem HP rely the guarantee on when you bought it.

I checked the Australian Toshiba page about the warranty, and it seems that you can handle the case of warranty in Australia and New Zealand. I doubt you can get security in Sri Lanka.

It is 36 days without my work computer so I'l never buy Toshiba laptop once again because these bad service and quality. I lost all of my works, I thought that this new laptop is not required for backup, big mistake!

Because I can't work without a laptop I bought the new DELL inspiron. Reference DELL have guarantees and quality service.

It is my experience with Toshiba warranty and customer support.

    Hey Buddy

    I can understand your frustration...
It is always unfortunate and frustrating if a HARD drive dies and that all data and files will be lost.

I had a crash of HARD disk a few years but luckily, I've created a backup of my files... I always do this because the HARD drive can still die!
In addition even the HARD drive would not die there are some other risks that could affect the data stored on the HARD drive... for example the operating system may crash, the device could have stolen, etc...

I should also mention that my knowledge, DELL uses the same as hard drives Toshiba.
In fact, I think that DELL also uses the Toshiba hard drives in their units.

With respect to the interview, I feel well with Toshiba. I've never had serious problems with my ASP in my country... so I am satisfied with my Toshiba units...

    However, good luck mate...

  • To receive a replacement for notebook Probook 4530 s guarantee with the following defects?

    Hello

Operating system: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

With about a month to guarantee rest yet, I was wondering if I could get a replacement for laptop to my HP ProBook 4530 s.

When I got it, it's in very good condition, after almost a year of use, the optical dvd player case is sometimes a bit loose and one of the keys on the keyboard relaxes and I would have to fix it and hang it in the keyboard frequently. In addition, sometimes one or two of the USB Hubs would not read my flash drive but other ports would be strange. While this is happening in only a few flash drives and all 4 USB Hubs are still functional. Finally, sometimes my laptop keyboard may lock up randomly but my mouse pad would continue to operate, which means that I have to restart the laptop to make it work again. Even after installing the updates and even Flash my BIOS, I always have this problem from time to time during the execution of certain applications, including the computer games from Valve, but never expericened before running programs. This problem would happen frequently as well. I was wondering if all these problems would be enough to get a replacement. Thank you.

    Kind regards

  • G71 340US notebook: G71 340US notebook and migration of Windows 10. Have someone succeeded? Can I try or better not...

I was checking if my G71 340US notebook is OK to upgrade to windows 7 which I understand will be completed July 26, 2016. I read the web HP requirements, but they do not make sense to me as I am not an expert. I understand that HP does not guarantee the purchased booklets before 2013 will work and I bought mine in Nov 2009. My PRODUCT NUMBER IS: VM114UA #ABA and the name of the product is HPG71 notebook PC windows 7 (64-bit). I saw other people in this forum face with his apparently solved problems by only the individual who posted the message, other internet connection problems and systems fail. Can someone please tell me if I'm okay or is it preferable not to attempt migration. Thank you

    Hello;

Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the problem you face is that Microsoft provides only pilots with the most basic features and what you really need for these features is the specialized drivers written for the specific in your HP PC hardware - and unfortunately, there is no driver HP Win10 for your PC. HP only guarantees the compatibility of Win10 for machines manufactured after August 2013. HP is not no matter what timetable indicating when, or IF, they will produce drivers for older machines.

This means that your PC is probably NEVER going to be fully functional under Win10 because the pilots is needs for all features simply do not exist!

Personally, I recommend this doing the upgrade, especially since I did this on a laptop HP DV6 under Win7 and trashed the laptop upgrade bad, I had to restore it if you work with HP recovery media.

    Good luck

  • How can I stop the boot record guaranteed Tempro message?

Whenever I start my Toshiba Satellite computer, a dialog box with the message "reminder to register Toshiba Notebook has stopped working, Windows is checking for a solution" is displayed. No solution never appears.

I looked at the status of the guarantee on TEMPRO, where it is said that I had not yet registered to the standard warranty.
OK, well I thought I had, but maybe I forgot or do not materialize.

So I clicked on save, entered my details and found that in fact I HAD recorded, about a week after I bought the computer (as I thought).
If the registration reminder program should not be run!

It's really annoying for this next screen, especially since I tend to shut my computer down when I'm not using it so got to encouter this most of the time I start using it.
And for some reason any the TEMPRO software did not record that I registered.

    How can I stop this?

    Hello

Either it's something wrong with the installed Tempro tool or tool didn t notice that you are already registered for the guarantee.
So first of all I recommend reinstalling the Tempro and upgrade to the latest version available.

You can find the latest here on this page of Toshiba Tempro:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/innovation/generic/TEMPRO_W7_RELEASE/

If this is not enough, you could disable the Tempro in msconfig (enter RUN msconfig). In the Startup tab, you will find an entry tempro which you can uncheck. Save the changes and restart the device.

This will help you get rid of this message.

    Welcome them

  • Problems with the registration of the guarantee for my Satellite A200

I tried to sign up for my Satellite A200 laptop computer online and it did not work. I then had to send info and proof of purchase for Toshiba and heard nothing yet.
Emailed Toshiba and heard nothing yet. Number 117 of what laptop Toshiba receipt for support and services. It is what makes me look to buy a Toshiba.

What service? What support? All I want to do is register my warranty. Is someone there?

    Hello

I have 2 different Toshiba notebooks and I could save the guarantee of all my books!
These two laptops are European model Toshiba and I could register the warranty on Toshiba's European support page!

If you have any problems with your registration, then contact the ASP in your country and ask for help. If they have not responded until now then contact guys.

I put t know what's wrong in your case, but my recording of security went well and it was not a problem!

Then contact the guy and ask for help! It cannot be that difficult.

    Good bye

Hello, I lost my certificate of warranty and I have a problem with my HP ENVY m6 PC laptop I phone contacted the Romania of HP support, but they can't help me to obtain a new certificate of guarantee or a copy of the one I had. I also contacted the shop (Currys PC World) in England where I bought the product and they said that they cannot help me because I don't have a care Plan for my laptop.

I don't drop the laptop, it struck, this problem occurred when I open/close the computer laptop and all the world can see that the damaged is not implied by me, the laptop has no external damage.

How can I know which battery to order on the shop online for HP?

Any help will be much appreciated.

You have a spare battery compatible from a vendor in the source line and save yourself money.  Just make sure that the seller guarantees the compatibility and gives a 12 month warranty.

See the Google search I did online below.

  • 2nd hard drive for HP Pavilion dv7t-4000 CTO Notebook - what do I need?

Hi, I have the HP Pavilion dv7t-4000 CTO Select Edition Entertainment Notebook (product # WV703AV). It can accommodate two hard disks but only came with one. What would need to be able to install the second hard drive? I need just a connecting cable or I also need to caddy or kit?

Also, would I get a solid state? My laptop that would support or should I just use regular?

Currently, I am on Windows 7 64-bit. I have a 500 GB hd (which came to be partitioned with hp tools/restoration).

Help with what I would need to a conventional hard drive or ssd would be greatly appreciated. I tried to look through messages of others first, but could not find anything specific to my model. Thanks for your time!

    Hello:

The only place I know where you can get a 2nd hard drive kit is that provider.

    http://www.newmodeus.com/shop/index.php?Main_Page=product_info&products_id=345

Your laptop should be able to work with an SSD, but I can't guarantee it.

I don't really see any point in adding an SSD unless you make the main hard drive, and to do this, you must get an SSD of the same size as the original 500 GB hard drive to use the recovery discs to reinstall the operating system.

Most people get smaller SSD and they use the W7 product key to activate a simple installation of W7.

If you can read all 25 characters of your product key for windows 7, you can do your own installation media and allows to install Windows on a smaller than 500 GB SSD.

If you can read the Microsoft windows 7 25-character product key, you can download simple Windows 7 ISO files to burn on a DVD for the version of windows that is installed on your PC, and which is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC case.

Burn the ISO with the option to burn the ISO on your DVD burning program and burn it at the slowest possible speed that will allow your program. This will create a bootable DVD.

Or use the installation of Windows 7 USB/DVD tool to compile the ISO file that you download from Digital River. The link below. You need a 4 GB flash drive to use the USB compilation method.

    http://download.CNET.com/Windows-7-USB-DVD-download-tool/3000-18513_4-10972600.html

Use 25 characters on the PC product key to activate the installation.

The key will activate a 32 or 64 bit installation.

Then go to the support of the PC and driver page to install the drivers you need.

Link to downloads ISO of W7 is below.
