Everything works well so far, but I noticed that in Device Manager, a PCI device seems not to be installed. I tried an extensive search on the internet, has tried to update the driver on Windows. Uninstalled the resettled drivers and the device new & again. I installed all the drivers from the hp website for my 17-3077nr, but still a PCI device is uninstalled. Nothing seems to work. This is the first time that I am reaching out in a forum, because I'm desperate.

  Make sure that format you the partitions correctly during installation.

  Boot from the DVD 64 bit Windows 7

  Click Install now

  Accept the license agreement

  When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

  Click on drive Options

  Select the disc/s click on Delete

  Click new

  Click on apply

  Click OK

• Photosmart 4385: Photosmart C4385 - impossible to get all the functions work in Windows x 64 10

  Everything was fine in Win7 x 64 until the upgrade. After several attempts of uninstalling and reinstalling the software at least I feel funtions, no scanning however. The wizard keeps sending me an all in one package that starts to install, then disappears to halfway through the installation. the package has been 140_408-5. Something new or more compatible?   I tried all these things except the hidden admin ACCT. FYI, I finally got this thing to install, and here's how I did it. I used WinRAR to uncomress the .exe wrapper in a separate folder.  I then ran the setup .exe to the root and it first uninstalled everything. I then restarted it and installed all the drivers, the center of solutions etc. Single file across the package with a date of creation other then 2012 and prior was the files in the setup file dated 2014. Obviously something is wrong with the envelope of the installation program.

  You are going to use the Toshiba Recovery CD or will allow you to install all the drivers manually.
  I guess the recovery with XP CD is not available for this laptop and therefore only the manually installation is possible
