Hello

You should still be able to order as a replacement set of recovery media from the link your notebooks Product Page.

Note:  If you access this page on a computer running an operating system that is not Windows 7, click on edit, select Windows 7 in the drop-down list in the Menu and then click Update.

Kind regards

  • How to reinstall Vista on PC Toshiba laptop with new hard drive?

Hard drive from my Toshiba laptop of sisters died as well as its internal fan and she asked me to fix it, well I got a new hard drive and replaced the dead with a new internal fan and works perfectly fine with a Linux Live CD. However, she had previously Vista Home Premium installed on it, and there was no installation CD, just 2 recovery discs. Now, I was wondering where I could get an iso image of vista UNACTIVATED so I can use his legitimate product for her key. (I also have a week to achieve and I repair to other computers as well, which are not a problem, so time is of the essence)

Also, I have no money and can't afford to get a Best Buy installation CD, as the operating system has already been installed on the laptop/OEM computer. If that would be legal so getting an online and burning a black CD and use it to get Vista on this new hard drive of his?

In addition, I know how to install its drivers, and upgrade from SP1 to SP2 via Windows Update Manager, all I need is a vista installation CD Home premium to get his computer upward and execution of how she wants to.

I advised you to start from the 1st recovery disk and if you have any problems contact toshiba at the link I suppied you with

or follow the rest of my advice on borrowing a microsoft dvd vista and using your product key with him

what he may not know is that microsoft vista dvd contains all versions of vista

This is the product key that installs the correct version of the dvd

There are 2 microsoft dvd vista a 32-bit and one for 64-bit operating system

most of the computers unless asked when bought normally come with the version of vista 32 bit

  • HP 2000-2b09WM Notebook PC: Recovery DVD/USB for HP 2000 - 2b09WM, laptop, 320 GB hard drive.

    Greetings.

I want to restore my laptop HP 2000 - 2b09WM to factory settings, using a restore disk drive or USB.

Where can I find the disc, iso image or file?

I can't find on the site of HP, although I found it there before.

The best solution is to download an image of a DVD, burn myself.

The next best is to get the HP recovery disk, I can't seem to find it.

    Thank you.

    Hello

    There are two options available.

    1. you can order a set of replacement of the recovery media using the link below - it will reinstall the operating system, all the drivers, and almost all of the original software (the exception being often tests of MS Office).  They will also recreate all of the original scores, including the recovery Partition.

    Order HP recovery disks.

Note:  If the link above does not work (it is not for me at the moment), try calling HP directly.

If you live in the United States, contact HP here.

If you are in another part of the world, begin here.

2 another option would be to download the Image of Windows 8 on the following link - Note this Image file is subject to a ceiling of download, you may need to try over a period of a few hours before the download starts correctly.

    https://docs.Google.com/file/d/0B0W9PBigPy94aVJWSndyTFNFMzg/edit?PLI=1

Use an app like ImgBurn ( Note: you can deselect additional software during installation of ImgBurn offerings) to burn the ISO correctly on a blank DVD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write an ISO on a disc is here.

If you instead create a flashdrive bootable for this Image, try the free app below.

    http://Rufus.AKEO.IE/

The product key for Windows 8 is encrypted in your bios chip and read automatically during installation.

Software extra and you may need drivers are by entering your full model number or Nr here.

To restore the software preinstalled on the computer, or to install disks:

Contact the OEM computer manufacturer and ask them to send you an installation to your computer disk - they may charge a small fee. Contact information for the manufacturer of your computer can be found here:

I'm looking for the iso of windows 7, I think that his name, but I can't find any .iso file.  I'm trying to install windows 7 on my new drive HARD I need not my other files like music... etc. I'm looking to get my HARD drive installed with windows 7, where it has IE and I can go back to the installation of everything I had previously. Should u use "create a system image"? Its a big file and requires 7 + dvd discs is my only option? I have my 25 key windows 7 as well.

  • new hard drive for laptop

I have a laptop dv7-3140el and HD samsung HM641JI 640GB 2.5 "SATA 5400 RPM (to replace car failure). To buy a new hard drive I have to take the same or I can take 7200 RPM instead of 5400? What technical specifications should I look for when buying a hard drive for computer laptop dv7-3140el? I wouldn't make a bad purchase!

    Sorry for my bad English

    Hello

Here are a few points to note when replacing your HARD drive:

You are not limited to any particular drive manufacturer.

The speed of rotation of the disc can be 5400 RPM or 7200 RPM

The new drive HARD should be at least the same capacity (or slightly more is okay) as the original drive - mounting a drive smaller than the original often causes risks with recovery media.

The player at the link below is an example of one that would be perfect for your laptop.

750 GB hard drive for laptop.

If necessary, the procedure to replace the hard drive begins on Page 47 of your maintenance & Service Guide.

    Kind regards

  • install a new hard drive in my hp, computer laptop ze5375us

ROBERTABASE HERE;     I BOUGHT A NEW HARD DRIVE TO MY HP LAPTOP, 2003, ZE5375 WE... I WOULD INSTALL DISKS PROVIDED WITH THE LAPTOP MOOSE, THERE ARE 4 DISKS ONE OF THE DRIVES IS WINDOWS XP, ONE OF THE OTHER DISKS ARE RESTORATION AND DRIVERS, JUST INSTALL THE DRIVES ON THE HARD DRIVE... I PUT THE ORDER OF MOOSE FROM THE BIOS...

This is the original factory specifications for your laptop HP Pavilion ze5375US. According to the specification, this model left the factory with Windows XP Home Edition is installed. There are two ways to return the computer to a factory State. Please see Recover Windows XP operating system using XP Operating System disks (2001-2005) for instructions on the use of the drive of the Windows XP operating system. You can also use the disk/s 'Restore' to restore the computer to a factory State. Please try both methods to determine which is best.

Contact the manufacturer of your computer.  The product key on your computer has nothing to do with Office applications.

If the manufacturer of your computer or the repair guy can not or will provide you with support of desktop replacement, you will need to either buy Office or install Open Office (which is compatible with Microsoft Office, but not the same thing):http://www.openoffice.org/

Because Microsoft Office 2010 came out recently, if you do not require the latest Office applications, you can probably find some relatively good deals on Office 2007 or Office 2003.  See, for example,http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_3_11?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=office+2003&sprefix=office+2003

If you create recovery discs when you got the computer, you will need to ask the manufacturer for their recovery disks.

    Hello

strange that you can request that

HP computers have been known to not let you install Vista on a non HP bought replacement hard drive

There were a few posters with this problem here

If the OEM disc for this particular laptop, you should be able to reinstall it as many times as you want as long as you have not changed the main material (the motherboard)

You can change the hard drives, RAM, etc.

I presume that you boot from the Vista DVD
