  • HP 250 G3: Graphic driver problem

HI, this problem is literally driving me crazy: I recently bought a laptop very nice and cheap: HP 250 G3 professional laptop. The laptop was very cheap because it came without an operating system, but it was not a problem for me because I already had my own. Now, after I installed Windows 7 32 bit, I had and service pack 1, I went to the HP site to look for drivers, only to find out that they are only available for the 64-bit system. For some of the components, I managed to find the drivers online. However, I can not install those Intel HD graphics card. I tried everything, downloaded a lot of different versions of the driver, tried to install manually from the Device Manager, but all I can see there is the standard VGA and spare no effort to update did not work: the .exe file tells me that I have no required system, so that when I do it manually it tells me that the appropriate driver has been installed. In addition, the HP utility cannot detect any driver, chipset or anything like that. Please help me and tell me that the only way is to install a 64-bit version of the operating system, which sucks!

There is only one driver in the world who might work, and it took me awhile to find it.

This one... Download, unzip and run the exe to install.

  • Toshiba Gigastore 250 GB: problems to delete files

    Hi all

I can't delete files from my Toshiba Gigastore more. Whenever I try, the following message appears: "unable to remove. Access denied. Source is probably always open. "

However, the files are not in use when I try to delete. I tried to delete after a reboot and tried as admin. Nothing works.

The problem started to occur after the Gigastore has been disconnected from the computer (hot plugout).

My OS is W2K SP4 (with the latest security updates). The GigaStore didn't work properly from the beginning, because it is not possible to disconnect the USB when the system is running (this problem is known and described in the user manual).

Howe can I overcome the problem without reformat the drive? Maybe it's possible to boot linux and delete files on the GigaStore? Is this desirable, that linux does not seem to get along well with NTFS?

    Many thanks in advance,
    Led

    Hello

I'm not very familiar with the Toshiba Gigastore.
Well have you tried to remove the USB port on the Device Manager and then reinstall the drivers?
I have never tried this solution, but maybe this will help.
    Please check for this possibility.

  • Problem starting on Satellite M40X-250

For some time, I'm having a problem with an old laptop, the Toshiba Satellite M40X-250.

When I try to boot this laptop, the headlights turn on, I can hear the hard drive and fan from, also I can hear (if I have one there) station cd read cd/dvd.

But nothing else happens, the screen remains black and there is no way I can make it work.

I quite know something on the desktop, so I disassembled the laptop completely and just cleaned and after I reassembled it again, but that had no effect, I can not even boot up the laptop.

There is however another strange thing, it is very rare, but sometimes I get to start, but at some random point (very quickly, because I can't actually use the laptop) it is for me a BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) with an error code, I think it was 0x000000EA. In any case, this meant a driver problem with the graphics card. It gave me an error ATIDVAG.

But most of the time I'm still not able to start.

Now, it's a very old laptop and I have tried everything,.
I tried to start without battery (disconnected) and only the power, without result.
I tried to start only with the battery, no results.
I tried to unplug the power supply and the battery, then press the power button / stop for 60 seconds, no results.
I tried several rescue cd, a linux installation cd, windows installation cd, it resulted in nothing.
[EDIT] I have also connected to the laptop to an external monitor, but that did not work, no results.

I'm really lost now, I have tried everything I know, and I've never met a problem like this.
Maybe it's just the fact that material became old and it is better to give up, but I would really like to know if there is someone who can help me and maybe give me some ideas on what I can do.

I am very familiar with the inside of this laptop and I know what to do. I don't want to not call me an expert, maybe it is a little off, but I know my way around.
so, if anyone has a solution, let me know.

    Regards and thanks in advance.

In my opinion, it seems that the problem of graphics card.
Black screen means that the display is faulty or chip chart.

But if the internal screen would malfunction, then you should still be able to use the external monitor, but I guess that's not possible, therefore, I think that his GPU problem

    Hello:

What specific Intel processor is has your model?

There are different drivers USB3 for core processors celeron/pentium processors.

HP does not have USB3 drivers on the support page G3 250 for the G3 with the celeron/pentium processors.

If your laptop has a celeron or pentium processor, then you need the pilot g2 250 USB3.

Or you can use one directly on Intel.  Download, unzip and run the setup.exe file.

  • Installation problem card Sapphire R7 250 LTS in an Opti 755

HI I have an installation question: I got a R7 250 Sapphire (1215-06 - 20 G). I tried to install it (by the book) in an Optiplex 755 SFF desktop GJNFC3 with windows XP OS build. I noticed that the CD did not support XP, so I downloaded the XP driver "AMD catalyst install Manager" from the Sapphire site. All well & good. I cracked the case, installed the card without problem, plugged the DVI & HDMI cables... and rebooted the device. Terrible video! The default display is "default monitor on the external graphic family trigger extend" with everything locked to 640 X 480 & 4-bit color! Tried to manually reset the resolution and color in the "display properties", but nothing takes, and Manager of AMD catalyst install keeps sticking on the choice of languages, because the window is too large for the locked position of resolution-offers me all jargon from the Greek to Turkish, but will not go forward with the installation program. tried several times to remove and install the same results.  How can I get around it?

    Thanks in advance.
