HP 3500 MT Pro: power supply

I'm looking to upgrade my PSU of 300w OEM to a 600 watt unit. I know that HP is particular about many things so where can I find a good replacement/upgrade. My research so far has not given anything but 300w and various things that does not.

Thank you

Hello

The HP Pro 3500 MT with the provision of x 300 watts using a standard ATX HP OEM supply.

The CX600 Corsair or CS650m would be an excellent choice for a replacement power supply.

  • 29W power supply will work for iPad 9.7 Pro

My iPad Pro 9.7 inches provided with a power of 10 watts. It takes about six hours is responsible for the depletion of the layer to be 100% responsible. I would like to be able to do it faster. I noticed that the iPad Pro with a larger screen has a 29 Watt power supply available in the Apple Store. I bought this with the cable Apple to convert USB type C USB 2, which I am connected to my Flash a USB cable.  When I try on my Pro 9.7 inch iPad it charges no faster than six hours. Anyone who has tried using a larger power and they have managed to improve the loading time?

The smaller iPad Pro does not have lightning speed USB - C compliant connector which has the bigger iPad Pro, so the special USB - C cable and 29W power supply wiil lightning does not work with the smaller iPad Pro to load more quickly.

Return these back to Apple for a full refund.

  • HP Pro 6000 Elite 8000: Does Hp 6000 Pro and Elite 8000 Supports 600 Watt Power Supply connector having 6 pin

I want to upgrade my suuply standard power of 300 watts to 600 watts in my two HP 6000 minitour pro and Elite 8000 Tower systems. Is the Board supports power supplies good as brand take heat?

I would not classify a Thermaltake PSU as a very good brand.

Unfortunately, your desktop PC uses an exclusive style of PSU, so standard ATX PSU will not work.

Upgrading the owners 300 Watt PSU 600W ATX POWER supply is not just going to work.

Your desktop PC is one that is not very conducive to the upgrade.

  • Replacement power supply for Satellite Pro 6100

I just got the power supply of my old SP6000 (PA2450U) die on me and I wanted to know if I should replace it with the same model or another one as I used it on my SP6100. I discovered that the PA2450U give only 45W of power (now I notice!)

Info for the SP6100 page says that the power supply be 75W and I can't find the model number.

Someone can tell me if it is OK or not?

    TIA

    Hello

You always have to use the supported adapters. The use of different adapters can damage the laptop.
But I agree with Stefan. The adapter compatible and recommended is PA3083U-1ACA
This part you can also order from the service partner.

It seems that the firmware may have had a fatal error occurs. I'm afraid there is little you can do to solve the problem. Try the procedure described in the document below. If this does not work, you will need to replace the printer.

  • Fan of mid-2010 MP in power supply

The fan in the power supply of my Mac Pro (mid 2010, OS 10.11.5) began its decent slow in death - intermittent squeaking. I hesitate to pay a few hundred dollars to replace the power supply just when a fan $ 20 will most likely do the trick.

    (1) is that someone can confirm that the fan is replaceable? iFixit.com wasn't much help to answer this question, or for parts. Here's their entry: https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Mac+Pro+First+Generation+Power+Supply+Unit+Replacem ent/32222

    (2) even in the case that does not know the answer to question (1), I want to give it a shot; can someone point me to a source of parts other than ebay.com, galaxyhp.com or Low End Mac google group? I'm happy to install an after-market fan, unless this is not recommended for a reason any.

    (3) any other suggestions? (If the bearing is not tight, I'm curious to know if I can just pack the her with the fat.)

    Thanks in advance!

I would try a few drops of Marvel mystery oil, he made fans years beyond their phase of freezing/grinding...

  • Power supply on the move...

What link should I plug my USB 2 plug in my power supply for my MBP 13 '' end 2011...

None of them. The USB ports on your MacBook Pro are not designed to provide a high current to charge a power supply.

In case you were keen to use it to power your MacBook Pro, you should know that your MacBook Pro will not charge or run a USB power supply.

  • Power supply for HP 8000 elite

    Help, please

Hi, I have HP 8000 elite, the problem is the power supply on my PC is damaged due to a power surge problem, I fixed it. But it does not work very well. Now I turn the power button that is not starts it becomes red power light and 4 times gives a beep both cpu and power fans are not turning on. Now, I want to buy a new PSU, but then I came to know that my PC has a rare type of food that is not normally available on the market, other feeds standerd does not work on this forum.

In the end I think that there as no break for my solution that one question must take a half litre petrol put on the system and put it on the fire.

I did not understand is why HP does not follow rules standerd.
All the help that I can use the PSU others made by Corsair or Cooler Master or I have to wait until the power supply would be available on the market.

  • Mac Pro power whirring noise

I have a mac pro 2.1 with a Radeon mac-flashed 7970, witch makes a fairly strong and annoying hum noise. It sounds like a fan bearing or a blade fan of friction or something.

Initially, I suspected the fan on the graphics card, as the noise got worse when I put the graphics card under load. But stop fans with my finger for a second did not stop the noise.

I checked all the other fans in the system by turning their speed one by one using a control application third fan, but that doesn't seem to cause noise. When the system was not under tension, speed fans only sounded like a plane taking off, no strange whirring / clicking noises.

I also followed him Nadim fan when running the reference of sky charts, and none of the fans seems to speed up the noise at startup.

The noise seems to come from the power supply area. I stick my finger in this fan aswel, but that also did not stop the noise.

My graphics card is put a lot of stress on the power supply? (seems unlikely, there is not much else in the system.) 128 SSD samsung, and 16 GB of memory, without HARD drives or optical drives.)

Or maybe just a case of whining reel? I never heard talking about the cases where it is is bad. Sound clearly audible with the mac pro onder my office with the closed side panel. It's about as strong as the average of a mechanical hard drive.

Someone at - it suggestions on what it might be? Anny information is appreciated!

    UPDATE:

I've did some more research and tests today, and now I don't know if it's the POWER supply. Further examination, the noise seems to come from the graphics card rather than feeding.

However, I got the mac pro crash on me earlier and seemed to associate PSU.

When I tried to run the benchmark in the Valley of launchpad, the mac pro froze for a second about, and then both screens of. Fans and LEDS have remained, and pressing the button did not stop instantly the mac of. After pressing the SPACEBAR and mouse movement a little I tried the button of power again and this time he did close some instantly. After reboot I met the gray screen telling me my computer restarted because of a problem, and I had to almost any key to start.

Later, I tried to run the benchmark of sky without the installed card via screen sharing, but that did not work. I did trie with another card installed, but who also refused to run the reference point. If unfortunately I have no way to ensure the sound comes from the GUP or POWER supply right now.

I think that there is still an old mac pro at work that I might be able to test the card Friday, maybe wil give me some guidance on the issue of whether this is in fact my GPU. And if not, I might be able to take the power supply of the mac pro at work and test it in my mac pro.

But I'm stil torn on the weather to suspect my GPU or PSU. the accident that I got today sounds PSU related to me, but the noise seems to come from the GPU. Anyone have any ideas?

  • HP ENVY Phoenix 850-065se: HP ENVY Phoenix 850-065se Power Supply replacement Question

On point to start using my new 850se and, like others, have long-term supply concerns with the unit from 500W to come with this model. Finally the PSU will have to be dealt with during the upgrade or this power will die quickly.  I thought I could just install a Modular 750W Cool Master PSU I have to just to fix the problem from the outset for the life of the platform. I jumped open the case and power supply cables was moving to look at and check the PSU is actually 500W (it is).

At first glance, everything in the 850se looks compact and compatible with a new PSU standard - then something cought my eye. Someone else saw the connector connecting the power supply that connects in the CD player? I'm not some tech pro by any means, but I'm not completely new at this stuff, and for the life of me I can't understand what is the connector. I am confused where I am fearful that it's some exclusive HP nonsense. I have never seen him and can not find maps while rummaging around looking. My only thought was there must be an adapter for the FDD or the 4 pin connector. I hope it is something simple that, for some reason, I just never saw.

If it's something completely owner, then I guess I can go along without the cd player. It's not like I need for what these days - but would of course I would powered it so it is an option.

Help at all or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Specs below:

    Kupchr36, welcome to the forum.

The PSU is ATX standard.  You should be able to update without any problem.  However, until you decide to upgrade the video card, it should work fine.  There is a lot of power for OEM components.  Personally, I love the Corsair products.  They are lovers of quality at a reasonable price.

  • Crappy power supply technology... Guard cable break

Power cord keeps breaking. Apple has known about it for many years, as evidenced by complaints and all positions in Google. I'm on my 3rd. Apple assumes no responsibility and says it's my fault. It is a MacBook Pro, and must be moved on a regular basis. My power supply Dell has never beaten and I've had this laptop for 6 years. I'm very careful with my equipment and tools as my livelihood depends on their being in good working condition.

Unfortunately, I had side with Apple on this one. None of my 7 portable Mac, ranging from 1993 to the present, have already had cable problems, and while they were in their working lives, it is a daily routine. Still a little consideration while winding upward and storage at the end of each use apparently paid off. Was there a brick power fails and requires a replacement of this gap, but it's the transformer who claimed: its brick wall extension is still ongoing end user could recycle brick-to-Mac with tip MagSafe cable, if I needed.

He was (or is) a reminder of charger, but which was for some models of EU and was due to the failure of an active component to conform to the standards, not the cables.

  • power supply subbly

    Hello

I have a HP 6000 Pro SFF PDC small form factor with a unit power of 320 watts subbly.

Available IIs a 550 Watt subbly unit or more? Or what can I do to change this PC for a good computer player?

Thanks a lot for your answers

Of what has been said elsewhere, the largest power supply for the SSF is 400W.

SSF is not meant for serious games. Also, SSF are limited to low-profile graphics cards.

  • Pavilion m9670ch Desktop: replacement of the power supply

I replaced the original power supply with another more powerful (550W) earlier, I bought a new graphics card. This power is very strong, that's why I bought a new DARK PRO 10 power SUPPLY ATX 550W. Now, the computer does not start. When I press the power button, the fan starts momentarily and stops again. All cables are correctly installed. I reinstalled the old power supply (fort) again and everything works normally (except for the noisy fan). I contacted the manufacturer of the unit from the POWER of DARKNESS, but he referred me to HP, because they did not have a solution, but it may be a peculiarity of the motherboard. What can I do?

    Hello

Return the Dark Power Pro and get a Corsair CX500, or CX600.
