HP 4183 cl - I want to turn my monitor off and same proximity laptop screen while listening to the music.

I want to close my screen while listening to the music. I found the option to turn off the screen, but when I try to close the screen, it goes to standby mode.

Please help me.

Thank you.

Check power in the Panel settings - there is a place where you can specify what happens when you close the lid.

    Hello

    Try the following steps.

    Method 1:

    Sometimes a Web site you visit doesn't look like you expect it. Images may not appear, menus may be out of place, and text boxes may be blurred together. This can be caused by a compatibility problem between Internet Explorer and the site that you are. When a site is not compatible with Internet Explorer, you'll see the compatibility view button in the address bar. You can activate only display Internet Explorer compatibility for the office.

    Use compatibility mode in Internet Explorer:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Internet-Explorer/use-compatibility-view#IE=IE-10

    Method 2:

    I would say to change the mode of Internet Explorer 9 browser.

    Steps to follow:

    a. open Internet Explorer, press the F12 function key.

    (b) in the part of developers, click browser mode and click on Internet Explorer 9.

    If the Web site uses flash player, try to uninstall and reinstall and check if it helps.

    It will be useful.

  • I got the message "SIM failure" on my IPhone 5.  The first time, I turned the phone off and turned it back on and it started working again.  I got the same message today and by turning the phone then next turn did not eliminate it.

    message "SIM failure" of "no SIM".  1st time it happened I turned the phone off and turned it back on and it was OK.  It happened again, and this time cut off and back on does not the phone is working correctly.  Cannot make or receive calls.  Nothing has ever changed with my carrier.

    First get a replacement SIM from your operator. If this does not fix it you have a hardware problem.

  • I have problems turning on my computer, sometimes I have it turn on and off the hard path of startup. Because it goes to the system again and then a blue screen. What is the hard drive?

    I have to leave my computer on to avoid having to turn it off with the power off button.  Otherwise, I have to turn on & off with the power button.  When I do that he will go to start windows normally or delete files and go to the system restore. When I hit windows normally it will go to a blue screen with the cursor at the top left doesn't Flash and that's it.  So, I press the power button to continue until initialization starts normally.

    1. You did it last changes before the show?
    2. What is the error message/code what do you see with the blue screen?
    3. What is your operating system?
    4. Are you able to boot to the desktop?

  • Wrong turn on 14 months old laptop, screen goes black after the windows icon.

    If we make a wrong stop down, it works in safe mode? Found information on a forum about how to get to the main screen, battery cable, press 'on' for 30 seconds, then cable back in and turn, but its success and Miss, and when we get we can not restore to a previous restore point. ideas to please because I am not very good with technology. Web site toshiba tried today as is the brand, but he asked the serial number and cannot recognize it, then smolt he could detect the laptop online, but the page does not, do not know what to do or where to look next. Thank you

    Thank you for having prepared the answer of the indepth network.

    His computer has been allowing us to start in safe mode, so I knew that this was not a screen problem. I tried to follow the link microsoft to start in a clean boot, as I had never heard of this before, but I could find it only for windows xp not windows 7. really, I'm not technical and was at my wits end, failed twice to restore because it says cannot restore because he could not get rid of a file called nativeimages _ windows livewriter?

    As a last resort, and something I should have done in the first place, I deleted everything that my daughter had downloaded to play music and watch TV on since the beginning of the new year so that it worked very well. some of the applications must have been with it downloaded that she had never heard of them before things happen.

    Once we had all these off (except upgrades) the laptop started immediately.

    Still thank you for your time, I was ready to go into a computer store for repair, but your encouragement to try to fix that made me determined to do. very grateful

  • I want to turn 'Awesome Bar' Off permenatly

    I followed all the advice in the support forums, but nothing helped. I want to permanently disable, where therwise close feature that remembers web sites.
    Whenever I have go to tools > Options > privacy and make changes (as never remember history and in selecting or deselecting options) the changes just go back to what they were before. I must say it's very frustrating. I am running Windows & Pro on a HP Probook and the latest version of Firefox.

    Essentially, I don't want the history sites visited, nor do I want Firefox to suggest web sites that I start typing a URL.

    Thank you very much for your time and suggestions...

  • Want to turn on or off an exit and turn off every minute

    Hi all

    What is the best way to configure a loop to output is enabled/disabled/disable every minute?

    Thank you.

    Here's a way to do

    Just check if the elapsed time is a multiple of 2 minutes (that is to say is divisible in 120 seconds for no rest).

    If this is true, run the box structure.

    Note that this is the only example of code, your time loop should have a waiting inside.

  • When I turned on my computer this morning windows Vista wanted to download the updates, and I said ok. Now my top disk turns off and he won't stay, everything disappears on the top of the page office. ___

    What can I do to keep my office on and not Virgin?

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use it.
    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
  • G70 will not turn on or off and is uncontrollable squeal
    OK, I have a g70-460us, with windows 7 installed. It worked fine until today when I picked it up and the screen became black, sure its actually turned off, then it began to scream uncontrollably. The only way to stop is to take the battery out of it. but when his back plugged it again immediately. The dvd rom also has the light on, but it does not respond as well.
    Anyone have any ideas of what I can do with it, or do a few scrap items now?
    Thank you
    Hello
    I would say that all indications point to a hardware failure, possibly on the fan, but that would be just a guess without seeing it.  It may be worth trying a local computer repair shop to see if its economically viable for repair.
    Kind regards
  • When I try to run the Vista system restore, I get the message that the restoration of the system is 'off', and there is no screen to turn it back on.
    The message said that "the system protection is turned off. "Turn it on again you can use system restore. The screen that is supposed to appear when I 'click' to enable system restore, does not appear and I get no options of system restore turn it on again. I don't know how he got off in the first place.
