HP 625 notebook computer with Win7 32 bit operating system lock up possible (?) HARD drive problem
Well, all this happened a few days. When you use my laptop that it completely locked up, after that I have with power off by holding the power button. After that I turned it on it would not start and I got this error message:
Non system disk or disk error
Replace and strike any key when ready
After that I vigorously turned off my laptop and turned it back as I did in the above method and Windows starts without any problem whatsoever. I then ran a test HARD drive and there is no problem, so I just kept using my laptop, but the same thing with the lock upward and initialize the problem persisted and whenever I ran HDD test it came out without any problem. At the present time the lock ups happens to such frequency it does using the laptop quite impossible.

For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.
Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.
More information area has direct links with the current and recent buildings if you have problems to download, must revert to an older version or want to try the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for old video cards) as a workaround for problems with installation or operation, or compatibility with QuickTime software or a third party.
Backups of your library and device should be affected by these measures but there are links to backup and recovery advice there.

LabWindows 4.0 is compatible with the 64-bit operating system?
I have a very old code CVI for PCI 6030th, who works on a 32-bit windows xp computer. The PCI card has been installed recently on a new computer that has a 64-bit windows 7 on it. The code does not work on the new pc. I was told that 6030th PCI can be performed by a virtual pc, so the only option would be to partition the HARD drive and install windows xp. CVI 4.0 code runs on a 64-bit operating system? I guess that the drivers may not be compatible. If not, is there a way to run the old code on a new version of labwindows cvi without having to rewrite it completely?
Thank you!
Sikora
Hi Sikora,
I don't think you'll be in too much luck. I'm assuming that your code has probably been covering on your PCI device 6030th using traditional DAQ, which is not supported on the operating systems Windows 7. You might go to NOR-DAQmx 9.1.1, that is supported on Windows 7, but this will require you to rewrite your code to convert into orders DAQmx.
Kind regards
Jackie

I upgraded my computer, adding a second hard disk for a new operating system and kept the old drive as a data disc. I assumed that I could install Firefox on the new disk and import my favorites from the old installation of Mozilla on the old disk. I can't find the files on the old drive with my favorites. They're still here, or when I reinstalled Firefox, I lost everything even if it was on another drive? I can't find the backup on the old disk files and want to restore my old favorites. Is it possible to do this?
You must find your profile folder in the old drive, the way in which must be:
- First display the hidden files and folders:
- Then go to:
- < old drive >: \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles \Users\ < username >
- Enter in your profile, and then enter the folder bookmarkbackups .
- Copy the latest file from json (backup of bookmarks)
- Then restore from them:
- First display the hidden files and folders:

MikeReboot, or power on the laptop and immediately after that the Sony Vaio logo disappears, press the F10 key several times. This brings you to the built-in recovery Partition.
You can reinstall the operating system from there.

I have windows 7 64 bit operating system says my computer starts windows system 32
I have a gateway laptop with windows 7 Home premium. Clealy system I.D. indicates 64-Bit os. Windows has been shut down and restart without being invited. I wanted to see the info to start. This computer starts up and all the info in the trunk are saying Windows 32-bit system? What happened here? According to me, that's why Windows keeps stopping. How can I fix this? At all times, may not install certain security updates as well.
How can I suddenly have a 64-bit os which is starting to 32-bit. It started in early April.
Where do you see this saying 32-bit?
If you open your Start menu, click computer and select Properties, the system properties box that opens will tell you the correct number of bits of your operating system.
Please note that it is possible (and very common) to have a 64-bit processor in your computer, but a 32-bit operating system. In fact, it is the most popular configuration of Windows 7.

I have problems with IE 9 on my 64-bit operating system.
I have a HP laptop with a 64-bit operating system. Windows 7 Home Premium SP1. I understand that it comes with a 64-bit IE9 and IE9 32 bits. I know because I started having a lot of problems with Adobe Flash Player and Shockwave. Somehow the two IE9s became the 64-bit. I tried to uninstall IE9 and returned to IE 8 then reinstalled IE9. I still have the problem, and if someone can tell me how to get these back to usable without restore back to out of the box programs I would be very grateful.
in 64-bit windows, the two IE32 and IE64 versions are included, but IE64 is not intended to be configured as the default browser. She is more included for purposes of development, however, the average user should not use it and should stick with THE 32-bit
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ieinternals/archive/2009/05/29/q-a-64-bit-Internet-Explorer.aspx
You have Internet explorer still installed? If you do, it should be located at the:
"C:\Program Files (x 86) \Internet" just create a shortcut and PIN to the start menu.
The average end user really should never need to use 64-bit IE and should simply ignore its presence
Good luck hope I helped let me know

Yes, the 32-bit version will work fine on 64-bit operating system. Works very well (better than the 64-bit for most).

There are video games that are compatible with windows 7 64 bit operating systems?
Hello Peter.
Yes almost all games in 10 years works perfectly on 64-bit Windows. What Call of Duty games are you having problems with? If the first two, you might have to enter the video drivers for your graphics card/computer manufacturer as the first two required OpenGL which is not included with the drivers that Windows uses by default (this has been the case since at least Windows XP).

where can I download PCI device Acer laptop with win7 64 bit driver
where can I download PCI device Acer laptop with win7 64 bit driver
Information on what you need the driver can be useful, but--
All the drivers for your card mother books must be downloaded from the Acer site.
These should include drivers for the cards that use a PCI slot. If not then you would
Download the drivers from the mfg of the connected to the PCI slot expansion card.
