  • Where is my Officejet 7410 incoming Fax go?

I created my old Office jet 7410 to work with a new computer running Windows 7 Professional.  I downloaded the appropriate software (I think).  Scanning and printing to work perfectly.  Work of outgoing faxes.  Incoming faxes are different. The rings of the machine, said a fax was received.  Printing newspaper also said very well received fax. PROBLEM: no regular paper has printed.  I don't know where or not at all its stored.  Try reprinting of memory and nothing is displayed.  Searched my C drive and nothing there either.  Where is my fax machine? How do I actually print a fax machine?

The problem has been fixed... everything that was needed was a line filter.  Once I got one from Radio Shack and plugged in, faxes started coming thru!

  • HP Officejet 7410 language problem

I'm going to put in place this wireless (a HP 7410 all-in) and the display is in Japanese. How in the back to English? Tried all I know and nothing.

I tried to adjust my 7410 to various Oriental languages.  After pressing the Setup, 7, 1 you should be able to scroll to English as a choice.  It can be 6 pages of choice, keep scrolling with the arrow upwards until you get to the English selection.

  • drivers for my HP 7410 all-in-one printer

Can I download drivers for my all-in-one HP 7410 printer on my laptop, and transfer them on a disk, and then on my desk. I don't have a wireless to the desktop.

    Thank you

Hey Heezie. You can certainly do. Then tranfer to another computer, you will need some sort of storage such as a USB device, a disc external hard or you can burn them on a CD. What operating system do you use?

Here is the link to the drivers: Driver & Software Downloads - all-in-one printer, HP Officejet 7410

You provide me what operating system you were using, so I couldn't give you the direct link to the drivers. In the link above, you will need to choose your operating system. Select the driver tab, and then download the "full feature drivers."

If you have problems to find the pilot informed me to your operating system and I will point you to the download.

  • Install OfficeJet 8600 with OfficeJet 7410

I use a current version of Windows 7, SP1.  Can I install an OfficeJet 8600 on the same computer that also uses an OfficeJet 7410? It seems that when I install the software 8600, it trashes the 7410 installation.

Both printers have coexisted on my laptop Dell for ten days it seems that the problem has been resolved by uninstalling them both, and then reinstall the 7410 has my work, followed by a relocation of the 8600 at my house using the software downloaded from HP instead of the software from the installation of 8600 disc.  The 8600 without the 7410 was also stable on installing MacBook Pro Bootcamp to my wife for the same period.  Thanks for your help.

In fact, the driver of Windows 7 made good automatic duplex printing - no patch is required for Windows 7 [edit - this is true for fresh installation.  For the versions of Vista the patch may be used for Windows 7].  The default value for some printers, is that the duplexer is 'not installed', please check the Duplex Printing Troubleshooting Guide for Vista.  In Windows 7, the procedure is slightly different, in the folder printers click twice on the 7410, double-click the icon 'Customize your printer', device settings and under installable options go "Duplex for two back" on installed, OK.

  • My 7410 faithful had staarted printing VERY slow

My HP 7410 faithful began unusually slow printing.  It seems to be printing line with 10 seconds between the lines.

I "think" there was a recent update from HP... but I'm not sure.

It doesn't matter if I'm printing from the PC... or using the Panel configuration or by using the copy on the 7410 feature... still print line-by-line with 10 second pause between the lines?

    Thank you... TR

This is usually caused by one of the default cartridges.  Try to remove the black cartridge and printing (do not copy) a test page.  If this prints to the near normal speed the black cartridge is faulty and must be replaced.  If the printer still prints slowly then put the back black cartridge in and remove the color cartridge, and then print a page.  Replacement of the cartridge that causes slow printing with a new cartridge, the problem will be solved.

Assuming that the cartridges are original HP (neither remans or refilled) you can check the status of the guarantee as stated here.

  • 'Invalid WEP key' error on 7410 All in one wireless set in place

My 7410 has been connected wireless for more than a year, but I just installed a new router (Linksys N600) and cannot get the connection Wireless upward.  All other wireless devices are connected to the new router.  Using WPA2-PSK [AES] security on the router.  Using Setup on the front of the printer and it is fine network SSID location.  But only allowing a WEP key and give me the error code whenever it is entered.  Have tried to change the length of key on router to 5 or 13 characters and also tried 10 HEX digits.  Have powered turn off/on the printer and reconstituted on network settings.  No luck with anything.  The Cisco router I had already installed was also a N Router - no problem of the 7410 wireless connection but try exchanged due to too many lost connections.  Any advice?

I don't think that this printer supports WPA2.  Try WPA.

  • Problem with printing with new Wi - Fi router and 7410

My HP 7410 print perfectly with my old router - but who died.  Today, I installed a new Netgear N750 with WPA2 security.  I finally had to downgrade times the speed and the performance of the router and other equipment for the HP7410 could recognize the network under WEP security.  However, now it does not print, even though it recognizes the network.  How can I resolve this short of buying a new printer?

OK, let's try the following: setting up press façade 7410, 8, 1, 1 to print a network configuration page (you have probably this).  Look at line 3 and put this IP address in the browser of your computer.  This loads the page 7410's built-in web server?  If this isn't the case, then your computer Windows 7 Click Start, type cmd in the search box.  When cmd.exe will appear in the results do a right-click on it and choose "Run as Administrator" and give permission.  Once the administrator command window opens click in the box and type

    IPCONFIG

It lists the IP address of your computer.  Compare this with the IP address of the printer.  They should be the same for the first three sets of numbers, for example 192.168.1.11 and 192.168.1.3.  If the first series of numbers are not the same the printer and the computer are not correctly on the same network.  (This can happen if the printer is not picking up an IP of your router, or in some cases correctly when it receives an IP address from another router, maybe a neighbor.)

  • Is it possible to use the wizard to analysis of Microsoft with all-in-one HP Officejet 7410?

I have a HP Officejet 7410 connected to my system and it works well had to analyze the documents, that I prefer software that comes in the accessories of Windows XP. Naturally, the HP software overrides this facility and the scanner is not seen. Is it possible to make visible in the Microsoft program?

    Thanks for your suggestions.

If the printer is connected by USB cable, you should find the scanner icon in the control panel > Scanners and cameras. If you double-click on the icon of the scanner, it should start the wizard for scanning.

  • OfficeJet 7410: officejet 7410

I bought two ink cartridges at the Denmark (HP 344 and HP339) for my HP Officejet 7410, on cards, it is mentioned that they are suitable for my printer. However, during installation, I received a message that they are not "compatible" with my printer.

I understand that there could be a problem from one area to another?, in this regard, please note that I am currently resident in the Venezuela, which is also where the printer was initially purchased.

I checked the warranty with HP, but it expired

    How to solve this problem?

Welcome to the HP community @Hawkeye1,

I came across your post about the use of cartridges for your Officejet 7410 in a different region that the printer was bought in. In your particular situation, a discount to zero 'regionalisation' will be made on your HP printer directly, so that the printer accepts the cartridges you are trying to use.

  • Unable to install the solution on Officejet 7410 Center.

Windows 8 with all-in-one Officejet 7410.  Print wireless, but cannot scan.  I downloaded the latest version of the software.  What Solution Center to open I get "cannot run because the device is not over.

I tried loading CD but windows 8 can not "run as.."

    Thanks for any help.

Hi Raindrop211 and welcome to the forums of HP!

I'm sorry to hear you had problems with the solution Center HP regarding your Officejet 7410, but I will certainly do my best to help out

It really looks like that something is not to proceed with the installation correctly, so to start I would like that you start by removing the software HP using HP Officejet software and driver removal utility and then once it is removed, I would like to you clear your Temp folder as well.

Once this is done, I would recommend that you reboot your PC and then go to download and run the HP printer installation wizard as it should be able to download and install the most recent drivers for you.

I would like to know how it goes for you!

  • All-in-one HP Officejet 7410: your printer cannot be found on your wireless network

I have a home network and two printers connected wirelessly. One is HP Laserjet P1102w and works very well. The other is all-in-one HP Officejet 7410 and I am not able to connect to it. I installed the HP software, but it fails to detect the printer. It was working fine before the update from Windows 8.1 for Windows 10.

I am able to ping the printer IP. If I enter the IP address on my browser I see the printer (see photo below) and it let me scan (see photo display preview).  But I could not find where to go the scan! It is not in my scans.

I ran HP print and Scan doctor and it shows the HP Officejet 7400 series. When I select and press Next, it says: failed to communicate with your selected product. I noticed that the IP address is slightly different from the actual IP address that has the format: xx.x.x.xx. Than that shown is xx.x.xxx. Which ' don't know if it's part of the problem.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I have an OfficeJet 7410 all in one on a Windows 7 system.  I want to print wireless from my laptop to the printer.  I installed drivers and can print when connected but don't know how to print wireless.  Specific help would be greatly appreciated

The printer should accept WPA but not WPA2 and it may not even accept WPA/WPA2 mixed mode.
