HP Blue 7525, flashing

I just installed the HP 7525 printer via a USB cable to a Dell PC with Windows Vista. There is a blue light flashing by the fire, which indicates that the printer is turned on. Should I be worried? Is this something that needs a fix? Thanks for your suggestions, you can offer.

Hi CKAY,.

The blue light indicates a wireless connection to the router. Given that you do not connect the printer wireless

connection, it is not something you should be worried. This means that the printer is not connected with the radio.

I hope this helps!

  • HP Office Jet 6000 E609n Red & Blue lites flashing after installing new trolleys

The subject little line about everything said.  After you have installed 3 new ink carts (made many times before) the ink Light Magenta and Cyan continue to Flash.  After printing a 'HP Deskjet general purpose Test-Print Page assessment', all 4 squares show own colors, perfectly informed, so I know that the ink carts are installed correctly, etc...  (Clicked in place)

No matter what I try the lights continue to Flash.  Cannot get 'Toolbox' show, or else that could help.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Steve

After a lot of digging around to ask questions and even back to where the ink carts have been recently purchased, the conclusion is that the ink level monitors do not work when using reloaded ink carts. (Yes, those carts to Office Max which I forgot to mention in original post.) HP designed their carts to original ink for 'single use '. So now the printer "think" the cyan and magenta ink carts are low causing the red & blue lights flashing.

Not long after this printer was purchased in January 2010 the Toolbox stop working, even if HP carts have always been used... until now. Recently I reinstalled the HP digital imaging software and the Toolbox works again. What's weird, is that the Toolbox shows low ink on the three colors, but only the red & blue lights blink. (The black wagon is still an original HP.)

Bottom line: next time I'll pay 3 extra bucks for carts HP ink cartridges so flashing lights don't drive us crazy. LOL either that or put a piece of tape insulation on them for now.

I first try a hard reset, just take out your battery for about 5 seconds and could again. Usually, which solves a lot of problems. If it is still on, it may be a software problem, but is not certain.

  • Blue light flashing on printer

I have a HP6700 printer.  The little blue light flashes.  Anyone know what this means?  IHAVE watch and watch and can not find the solution.

    Hi BettyT

I understand that you would like to know why the blue led will blink.

When the blue light is solid while the printer is on the wireless network.

When it flashes, then the printer is not setup on the wireless network.

Here's a url for the manual for the 6700 Officejey that could be useful. 14 page explains all the icons.

  • Back to single drive - blue led flashing for more than 5 hours now

After trying a second drive, I wanted to go back to your hard drive 1 TB (nhm410) original.

So I clicked on the "back to the single disk.

The Web interface gave me 15 minutes to several hours warning. clicked ok and the mht410 restarted (I assume that was the case).

The LCD screen is out and the powerbutton flashing in blue.

He does this now for 5 hours.

Think it's fake. Several hours is 2-3 hours... not 5 or more...

Is it save to reset the device?

Don't think it can do anything harmful to the drive as it should also be possible to change the primary hard drive...

    What do you think guys?

Yes, it should be safe to reset and turn the unit off. Just make sure that you upgrade the firmware again after resetting it.

  • 2540 HP printer all in one: Blue Hp flashing wireless. Do not accept the SSID password

I have a HP 2540 wireless with a blue light problem flashing. The error message is 'do not accept password' somethhing or similar to that. I restarted the router, printer and pc according to the instructions. I reloaded the latest drivers from the Hp I homepage I pressed the buttons wireless and cancel them for 5 seconds. None of this works. The printer will not connect to my home network or directly to my pc. I have windows 7 pro 32 bit and Att Uverse network using WPA - AES. I type the correct SSID password, but it does not accept the installation program. He logged the first right on the day with all the features of operation area. I think I need to reset to the factory as I've made a few changes setting to print from IE Explorer and Google Chrome.  From one day to the next day something changed after the next power Cycle.

Connect to your router and remove all security on your SSID temporarily. Now try to connect to your SSID unsecured. Are you successful? If so, go back and add WPA2-AES with your password and try again.

  • ScanScanp ix500 blue light flashing, does not

I use a ScanSnap ix500 on a Windows 7 Enterprise environment. I had previously used the ScanSnap on another computer without any problem, and it does not work on the new computer.

    1. the computer identifies ScanSnap. The icon is blue and says "Ready to Scan.

    2. place a piece of paper and it scans about 1/8 of the page before stop - blue flashes for about 1 minute, then a message appears:

I chose to continue the analysis and it hangs on the screen for 1 minute or more:

And then he made the previous message again.

    Some troubleshooting I've already done:

    -uninstalled and reinstalled the software

    -restart the computer

-connected as a different user and I tried the scanner

-l' computer plugged into a different electrical outlet

We were able to try the ScanSnap on another computer - he worked on two separate computers. It is therefore something with this particular computer.

    Any advice?

    Thank you!

    Hello

I realize has the inconvenience that you are experiencing with the help of ScanScanp ix500. I will certainly help you to question.

I appreciate your efforts to resolve the issue.

Make sure that the printer power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet and that the power switch is turned on. If you print to a shared printer, or a printer on a network, make sure that all necessary computers and routers are turned on too. If your printer or other equipment is plugged into a surge protector or a backup power supply, make sure that the equipment is connected and turned on as well.

I would like to know some information:

    1. Your PC is connected to a private network or a domain?

    2. You did changes to the hardware/software before this problem?

Also, I suggest to refer to the links below and check if they help:

  • Blue screen flashing

I have 3 computers all run Windows 7 Pro. In the last 24 hours, all 3 have completed an automatic update of Windows. Now all 3 are not usable. When the computer is finished the update and stops I can restart the machine - the computer looks like it starts correctly however it gets the blue screen and flashes repeatedly with a spinning icon. When I try to start in safe mode it gets at least up to the point where I can click the icon to open a session - but I never received a place to type my password and the screen goes only to the logon icon. What has Microsoft done?

I must point out that all 3 computers running Norton Antivirus.
