  You can try the following changes

  Go to the network set up on the printer and network services, disable ipv6 (disable)

  Be sure to enter the proper operating system and whether 32-bit or 64 - bit.
  You don't specify your operating system so I can't take you to the correct driver.

  There is not a driver listed for Windows 7, so if you have Windows 7 then download driver Windows Vista and right click to install in compatibility mode.

  If this does not help, I suggest you post in the forums of HP support for your Laserjet Printer.

  1. the customer is on a Windows 7, 64-bit workstation.

  It turns out that, the question not print was the result of an incompatibility of duplex on the switch port to which it was connected. I tried an administrator account that does not correct the problem. Print jobs were still sitting in the queue up to 5 minutes after selecting printing. A PDF file passes finally after minutes of waiting, but was cancelled by users after assuming it was the slightest error / stuck.

  When checking switch, there was a lot of duplex mismatch errors in newspapers. Double-sided printing has been on before auto however there may be problems with automatic duplex printing. I put the port 100 Mbit/s/full that if it is in offline mode. I put it at 10 Mbit/s/full and it came online and all problems solved.

  I'm trying to place drivers for our color laserjet 4700dn via login script. The only driver available on HP downloads for this model is the universal printer driver. When I install the printer and let Windows 7 uses the pilot that it downloads from Windows Update it duplex very well but I can't find where to download this driver package, so I'm stuck with the universal printer driver if I want to withdraw what my login script.

  With the UPD if I select duplex printer just ignores the setting and proceed to print single-sided. If I set the default forward on duplex printer preferences and then print from an application, it works but then I have to go back and change the preferences or each job prints duplex.

  I hope that someone knows a fix for the duplex problem UPD or there maybe somewhere else I can download the specific driver for 4700dn color under Windows 7 64-bit, which would be even better. Otherwise I'll be stuck manually install the printer every time I created a new workstation.

  I finally found a driver that I can ride if a login script that works for double-sided printing with our Win7 64 bit workstations. Here is a link to the site in case it's useful for someone else is trying to spread out the drivers.

• Color Laserjet 3700: Could not get a traditional UPD at work printer driver

  I had a problem with my 3700 today when I sent a job to him, he asked 8.5 8.5 "book.  When I got to do my work 4si weather.  So I guess it was the driver.  Deleted the printer, downloaded and installed the new driver.  I installed the traditional pilot, like what I always had.  After that, I could no longer print to any HP printer that I have on the network, including my old HP4 with its old drivers.  Any program, when I go to print, just programs lock up.  When I change my default other than HP printer, the print dialog box appears.  If I choose a printer not HP, all right.  If I choose a printer HP laserjet, including old HP4si, the dialog box shows waiting for printer to be available, and programs to lock up.  I've been using a lot on this... removing the drivers, reinstalling, removing packaging... all without help.  I found now that if I install the driver as 'dynamic' I can print, but I have to go through the dialogue and choices and the printer and so on.  I want to use the traditional where I can print and do, as I have for years.  Can somone point me in a direction that could help solve this problem?

  I wasn't able to get the drivers of the UPD to work with any of my HP LaserJet.  I uninstalled the HP printers, removed packages, then went to Windows and used Microsoft Windows drivers provided instead of the new drivers of HP, and all my HP printers are works well without any problem.
