HP Compaq 6720 s: Module integrated HP with wireless Bluetooth 2.0 for Microsoft Windows 7

I've got premium windows 7 in my system. My HP 6720 s Notebook PC model.

Check out the link

http://h20564.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/readIndex?sp4ts.Oid=3442838

is - can anyone provide the Bluetooth HP driver that will support with my system?

You are the very welcome.

You should be able to use the Vista driver for the audio of your laptop support page, or be connected to the internet, click the multimedia audio controller requiring driver, click on the driver tab, click on update driver then Auto search.  Windows Update should find, download and install an audio driver.  It may take awhile for windows search, so be patient until it installs a driver or reports that he manages.

Same for ethernet, but you can also try the W7 ethernet driver directly from Intel...

  • Impossible to solve problems with the update of security for Microsoft NET. Framework SP1 (KB2657424)

I hope that Microsoft Support will answer this question:

Homepage of Microsoft Windows Update is re - download and reinstall the same update (KB2657424).

I was advised to try this link: https://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?gprid=6527 and it brought me to this page.

I downloaded Microsoft Fixit 50202, installed and ran, but in "default" mode, since he warned that "aggressive mode" may disrupt other updates.

It took me 8 hours (using a dial-up access provider) to get through all of the suggestions, including those in the following links:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/910339

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/906602

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2657424

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/default.aspx

I followed the suggestion of Microsoft to visit their site and check out "Review of my update history". Since January 11, 2012, when Microsoft first downloaded the update to in question (KB2657424), it failed. Microsoft has offered by clicking on the Red 'x' next to the 'update failed' to open the info on the reason that has been...

    Error code: 0x01

Microsoft proposed the search for this error code in this list:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/ph/6527

The error code is not in this list.

Microsoft said then click "find solutions," "enter keywords" and click on "search". The result was this message: "Sorry, no result found not to match this criterion."

As I mentioned earlier, since the first update "failed", I clicked several times on the icon (almost daily), which reappears constantly in my taskbar, asking me to "Reinstall", the update, and these measures have been recorded at yellow end of Microsoft. As I mentioned earlier, the update of security (KB2657424) is already listed in my Add/Remove programs as being installed. The "update history" reveals that a series of 'success' (KB2657424) facilities are recorded as well as "failures".

I went to Windows Update Microsoft Web page to 'review my update history'.  After analysis of my PC, Microsoft has determined that (KB2657424) "has been downloaded and ready to install," with another update of IE (KB2618444). So I clicked both for "Quick Installation".

When you are finished, I revisited the "update history review". (KB2657424) has been disabled with the green icon as 'successful', while at the same time, in the right box next, there was a message: "Install Updates (1).» So I clicked it, and another window open with the message that the "high priority update" (KB2657424) had to be installed. Yet once, I clicked on "Install updates". He ended with another successful window "Update."

Then I clicked to "review update history", and it was registered under the name "successful." But the window beside her reappears at the same time: "Install Updates (1).» I have has. ... It was the 3rd time within an hour. 3 slices of the same update (KB2657424) are now disabled with the green icon as "successful"... but the window side "House of Windows Update" reappeared again with the same message: "Install Updates (1).»

Then I followed the suggestion of Microsoft to type in the "run command" keywords to the day windows journal. Since the January updates up until this date in February the journal is 428 pages (transferred from Notepad to Microsoft Word.)

Then I followed the instructions to download the update 'NDP35SP1-KB2657424 - x 86 .exe' (1.3 MB) directly from Microsoft link... http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?...28569.

As instructed, I proceeded to manually install it in "Safe Mode".

    The result was this message:

Patch installation (c:\35b7019bd0df08ac0003ec93627c\NDP35SP1-KB2657424.msp) failed on product (Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1). MSI log: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 - KB2657424_20120209_020143359 - Msi0.txt

I scanned the PC with anti-virus and anti-malware programs, and none of them found any malware or virus in the way of updates from Microsoft. "The 'update' where it is saved in the Microsoft Download link is the only and unique" ""NDP35SP1-KB2657424 - x 86 .exe." The "Update" as it is installed in my Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel is the same.

However, both "Windows Update Home" to Microsoft Page as well as in my BONES, the "update" continues to override all commands of Windows. Another odd fact, is that this "update" that keeps re - download and reinstall itself is actually partitioned into three parts, and I wonder if they may be "clones". Maybe the Windows Installer Service does not know where to place them, or what to do with them. These are three:

    MSIPatchRegFix - X 86 .exe_

    NDP35SP1-KB2657424 - 86.exe_

    NDP35SP1-KB2657424 - 86.exeQ

    Hi Jeine,

    Follow these methods.

Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable the antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network at the time the anti-virus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 2: Put the computer in a clean boot state to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the section How to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state of the link to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

After the clean boot used to resolve the problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

    (a) click Start, run.

    (b) type msconfigand click OK.

    (c) the System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.

    (d) click the general tab, click Normal startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.

    (e) when you are prompted, click on restart to restart the computer.

Method 3: Follow the steps in the article.

How to reset the Windows Update components?

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/971058

Method 4: You can also manually install updates (KB number) by downloading from the Microsoft Download Center.

  • Double click on the photo (my photo) causes PC freeze with message "not responding" (scheduled for the windows fax and picture viewer)

    WINDOWS XP

"This program is not responding...". »

I then have to click on the right upper window X two times to close the window. When it closes Finally, everything on the desktop disappears for about 3 seconds then reappears as if the PC restarted, but it does not actually restart.

My images, the other day, all open without this feeze/final issue. I don't have these problems when you use Windows XP Paint, Jasc Paint Shop, or Quicktime to open images, once set by default... Just does not work with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer more and all my photos are already defined (default) to open with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer - clicking Properties confirms this.

Also, if I right click on the individual image to 'open with' and manually choose 'open with' Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, it will then open and I can scroll all the following pictures an image in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. "But I can't just click on an individual picture, otherwise, it will freeze just straight up.  Difficulty It Center Microsoft could not automatically repair because the shimgvw.dll file already exists.

I used to always use Windows Picture and Fax Viewer with no such problems. I have not the slightest idea what happened... even though I was messing around with 1) Component Services > Security Com > permissions & launch Activate and Run permissions) 2 > Regedit > Edit > "Permissions" last week and changed "Registered Owner" in HKEY LOCAL MACHINE and some other stuff like that. Could permissions and changing names have caused this unexpected problem in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer? If so, the changes I made will not be changed back, then how can I fix a broken Windows Picture and Fax Viewer?  And if these changes, last week, have nothing to do with this "opening images in the image Windows and Fax Viewer problem,' so what?

I did your suggestion before posting here. I saw the same solution as your addition, the interpreter, but it does not solve the problem because I already had the shimgvw.dll etc. in their proper place and my photos/images were not always open with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer the way I wanted them to open.

Since I got my photos all open as I wanted (as before) this way to use Windows Picture and Fax viewer:

Control Panel > Folder Options > File Types: I changed then each file/folder associated with 'images' to open with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. I determined this by reading the details for each extension / the item highlighted. If the referenced details 'images', I then clicked on change and choose Windows Picture and Fax Viewer to open the extension.

I went through everything everyone who was not obvious that they are. I made a change: BMP, GIF, EMF, JFIF, JPE, JPEG, etc... I changed at least 12 (more than I thought it was).

Immediately after changing all of these types of files, I rebooted and Windows Picture and Fax Viewer was still working the way I wanted to (as before).

    Use it for automatic installation:

    Hello

In Windows XP (prior to Windows Vista), a Service could be interactive and display a window/dialog on the login screen.

Of course services are no longer allowed to be interactive, and certainly, I agree that it is an improvement in security.

However, say if I wanted to do one of the following values, which is possible (and how to implement). I don't mind what language I have to set in.

  • Problems with wireless WIFI adapter. DWA-130 | Windows 7

    Hello

I did a post on this a few months back and it has been partially resolved; I tried to get my wireless to work on Windows 10 WIFI adapter and the people trying to help me as I discovered that 10 Windows does not have to support the device.

Now, I have a new problem. I recently, and recently I mean today, reformatted for Windows 7 because I'm not a big fan of Windows 10 (which is not because of my WIFI adapter doesn't work do not, it is mainly because of all the glitches that come with Windows 10 because it is so new). Sort of, I tried to install my WIRELESS card on my Windows 7 Desktop, and everything I did (I honestly don't know) I can't make it work... And here, if possible, why...

I think that the "unknown device" could be my adapter. If so, that would mean he has not installed correctly and therefore is not working right (or not at all, in this case).

How can I remove from my device manager? I have already used "uninstall Device Driver", and he says it uninstalls, but once I update the list, he's back again, this time with no way to uninstall it - I have to reboot the machine and then the option will pop up but then if I refresh it, it'll be welcome back here - now, it will not disappear.

My WIFI adapter is called "DWA-130" and the model number would be "DWA-130F1.

    Help would be very appreciated.

    The problem has been resolved.

Thanks for any help, in the end, I copied files from disks on my desk (before copying them, I just tried to use the DISK itself), then I went in "Devices and printers" clicked on my device (the "802.11 n WLAN [DWA-130]"), then went to "Device properties" and "Update Driver". I went to my office through the teleprompter and then when I was in the files on the disc, I went into the folder "Setup" and you press 'OK', in which he finally started to install the necessary drivers and you read this, I use my wireless adapter to access my internet.

    One thing to note;

Once it was installed, I went to the 'map settings' to connect to a preferred network, and some networks were visible. So I had to add mine in manually, once I added it manually, the WIFI indicator on my taskbar, when I opened it, all the other networks in my neighborhood was now visible as well.

I hope I helped someone with problems.

  • Compaq 6720 s won't start not

    Hello

I have laptop Compaq 6720 s Intel 1.7 Ghz, 1 GB of ram, running Windows XP Professional.

When I went on the laptopm the wifi led is on, power led is not lit and the led above the charge point lights with a light blue color and blinks. The screen is dark (see no activity here). I can hear the fans running and nothing else. It stays that way. When I unplug the power cord, the fans will continue to run and I had to cut the fans to perform on the power button of the laptop at all times.

Even the laptop is turned off, the indicator light above the power cord blinks without interruption. I removed the battery and plugged the power cord. Always the same condition. Now, the laptop power cord is not connected. I have strength under tension of the laptop (which disappears in turn fans). But the led above the power cord keeps burning anything.

I think I have a 1 year warranty left. I can communicate with HP service staff only on Monday. But I would like to know if I can do anything to throw upwards before that. More important, I want to know if my data is recoverable.

    Thank you

    Harish

    Try a hard reset.

Remove the battery and disconnect the electric plug adapter.

Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Then put the battery back and try a boot to the top in windows.

If it does not try reinstalling your modules of memory and try a boot up into windows.

Then see if external connection to the video out gives you monitor a way in windows.

If it does not try to remove your hard drive and see if your laptop shows the BIOS screen.

If still no go, pass any of this than troubleshooting insulation information about the HP Service Center.

I want to know if my Add-ons and current themes are compatible with the latest update of Firefox before running the update.

    Hello azdec.

You can check the add page - we in addons.mozilla.org so it's just one or two. In my view, there is an extensions in the Gallery of modules that allows you to see if your modules are compatible with the newer versions of Firefox. But you'll have to look for them, because I don't know how it's called.

I remind you that if you want an add-on to be compatible with a newer version of Firefox, you must contact its author.

In addition, the version of Firefox you are using right now has been suspended and is no longer supported. In addition, it has known bugs and security problems. I invite you to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum stability, performance, security and ease of use. You can get it for free, as always, to getfirefox.com.

I tried similar topics before posting, finding nothing; so I apologize if I was wrong and a similar thread already exists.
