  Hello! I inherited this all-in-one deskjet. I have a Mac with OS X air 10.7.5, connected the printer directly to it.   I read your post about scanning with your Deskjet F2235 and Mac OS X 10.7.5. As you have noticed, there are no drivers available for your printer with 10.7 model, i.e. There is no software of scans included (Deskjet F2235 drivers).

• HP Office Jet J6480 All In One - will not analyze with Mac OS 10,8.3

  I could not get my HP Office Jet J6480 All In One scanner after upgrading to 10.8.3.I followed other positions and have installed the most up to date driver (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL907) , but whenever I try to scan from the HP Device Manager or photosmart studio, it says "sorry, scanner could not be initialized. (scanner not found) "I tried to make sure there is no other updates by clicking settings in the Device Manager by clicking on check the updates but it says 'server not available - service software is currently not available. "Please try again later" and I got this error for the last week.

  I followed the second set of instructions available here: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Mac-Printing-and-Scanning/HP-Software-Update-Server-Unavailable/td-p/18... to try to resolve this problem and install the software found on the link. I restarted my computer and I always meet the same problem.

  Note: My printer is wireless and I have not hooked by a cable. Will make a difference?

  My printer seems to be printing very well.

  To add, both HP Device Manager or photosmart studio are part of the software and not designed for Mac OS X 10.8 10.5.

  Here are the steps to scan with your printer on mountian lion, make sure to run the software update first to ensure that the latest HP drivers are installed:

  Where the scanning software do not work as expected, that more probably caused by incompatible drivers installed on your system.

  In this case, remember to remove the software by following the HP uninstaller program (under Applications > Hewlett-Packard), rebot Mac and install the correct software by following the steps below:

  I try to install HP Office Jet 7210 all-in-one printer.

  My operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium, service pack 1

  My computer is an AMD Athlon 64 x 2 Dual Core Processor 5000 + 2.61 GHz, with 2 GB of RAM and on the 32-bit operating system

  When I go through the guests to the screen, I get two errors.

  (2) the system can be installed using the "Run As" command... ». Apparently, I need to re - login as administrator. I am connected with the admin privaledges so not sure how to fix this

  I'm sure that yu you are trying to install from the installation to Windows XP CD. Try to download the software from THIS page and try to install.

  My F4180 all-in-one scan/save docs as .pdf - it isn't a choice in the drop-down list. I need jpeg. My printer should do, or do I need a software more to translate?  I have HP laptop with Windows XP.

  Your printer software provide PDF, analytical skills.

  In my view, that the OCR software is not installed, which depends on the PDF.

  Please, try the following steps and let me know if this is useful:

  1. Insert the printer installation CD.
  2. Click on install the additional software.
  3. Be sure to select the Iris OCR reading program and complete the installation.

  You should see the available PDF option.

  If you do not have the original CD, you can download the full software and follow the same directions:

  It sounds like a code of 'asserting' firmware, something really bad happened - the most probable hardware problem.

  Use the Setup (wrench) button on the front of the printer to look through the settings menu to set the date and time of the printer.

  my hp officejet 6210 all in one giving me the following message appears on the screen of my computer when I try to scan a document. "reinstall the software photo & imaging and try again" when I use the installation disc keys that it not allow me to complete the installation even with me being the administrator of the pc!

  I'm not an expert but I installed a printer a bit in my life and man, this one gives me grey hair.

  I am running Windows 7 32 bit on a HP Pavillion Multimedia Series.

  I tried with or without Firewall, unisatall reinstall awhile, use the floppy disk or download the software/driver of HP, zit, nada nothig, still the same error

  I understand that you have the a runtime error when trying to install your HP Officejet 4500 on your Windows 7 system. I provided you a few steps to try below which should clear up this place for you and you can install the software correctly.

  Step 1. Click on start and open the command prompt

  Step 2. Type %temp% in the field run and press ENTER.

  Step 3. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)

  Step 4. Open the Util folder

  Step 5. The CCC folder

  Step 6. Run uninstall_L3 (exe or Bat)

  Step 7. Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the computer

  When you computer goes back to the top, try to reinstall your software.

  Remove the cable first, make sure you have icons of printer in printers and faxes to this printer and make sure that you don't have another printer AiO or software, regardless of the HP, Brother, etc. If you have, you can choose one of the two. Download the full software from hp.com site and install that it will let you know when to plug the cable in and tada! Scan and everything works.
