HP Deskjet 3050 a J611 series does not print wireless

Hi Larissa89,

Restart network devices:

  1. Press the Power button to turn off the printer.
  2. In the Windows taskbar, click the Windows icon, click Start Search, click on the arrow to Shut Down and then click stop.
  3. Disable the gateway (router)
  4. Turn on the access point (router).
  5. When the router is completely recharged. Press the power button to turn on the printer.
  6. Press the power button on the computer to turn it on.
  7. Enter the IP address in the browser to see if you can communicate with the printer.
  8. Try to send a job to the printer.

I would like to know if you are able to print successfully?

  • HP Deskjet 3050 all-in-one: does not print copy or not

A few months ago my printer has stopped printing. It print only the first line of the page and then spit out the rest of the blank page. At first I thought it was the program I was using because sometimes it would work in Word but not Adobe PDF, or vice versa. Now it prints even more than the first line, it just takes the paper and does not print anything on this subject. I tried:

    -Turning then in

-installation of the driver more updated from the web

    -new ink cartridges

-print a test page - that works!

-copy - that does not work

    Another note:

-I connect via a USB port to print

Other troubleshooting tips would be appreciated, if not I throw and do not buy another HP printer again. Very frustrating!

Hello there! Welcome to the forums @autley

I read your post on the printing issues that you are facing and also how you can not make a copy. As you can not make a copy, it is a material concern. I have a few steps to offer you and if they do not fix the problem of the copy, please call us to see what are your printer options.

Reset the printer, and then make sure that the printer is plugged directly into the wall, avoiding bars power and surge protectors. This ensures that the printer is full on and can help greatly.

Press the power button to turn the product on.
With the product, unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
    Wait at least 15 seconds.
Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the back of the product.
If the product does not light by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.

Please try a copy from the front panel of the printer. If the working copies, please let me know and we can continue to troubleshooting of computer software. If the copies do not work, please call us!

I replaced the black cartridge still and it does not always print all black. I can't print an alignment page because there is no black ink. Tried all troubleshooting techniques, read the manual of the printer recommended, etc.. I just need to but a new printer. Not sure that this will not be HP because I'm already the $50 for ink cartridge.

A call back to Epson says my Windows Firewall blocks printing Epson Status Monitor and by disabling the firewall every thing returns to normal.  Turning on the firewall without exception is still no difference and I should contact Microsoft for that matter.

If the application works when the firewall is disabled, but not when the firewall is turned on, so you must create an exception for the application.

I don't know what you mean by "turning on the firewall without exceptions still makes no difference" - no difference of what?

You must determine the name of print Epson Status Monitor, then go to control panel > Windows Firewall (if your control panel is using "Category view", you will find Windows Firewall in the Security Center).

Once in the Firewall dialog box, click the Exceptions tab, click the button "Add a program" and find printing Epson Status Monitor.  If it is not in the list that appears, click on the button "Browse".  After selecting the program and click OK, make sure that on the general tab of the Firewall properties dialog box that the "do not allow the box exceptions" is NOT checked.

  • All-in-one HP Deskjet 3050 a J611 series - mavericks and wireless set up

    Hello

I have a HP Deskjet 3040 A J611 all-in-one printer, I have had this printer for about 2 years and everything worked perfectly then I bought an Apple again everything was fine but when I updated my software that I got from the Mavericks and since then everything has gone wrong... I updated my computer and I got AirPrint now and also HP ePrint (currently). How was never the printer don't work or connection.

    Problem 1:

When I tried to solve the problem that I uninstalled all HP drivers to reinstall - found you must install apple application made! (Airprint)

The printer was taken over by the computer and I can scan but I can not print, I am using the USB cable and when I print the computer indicates it's printing and printers lights but nothing happens (no), then the computer shows the impression is made - but the printer does not print. Scan works very well.

    Problem 2:

Due to recurring problems with the wireless connection, I wanted to reconnect to the router - restore the default value.

But now, because I don't have the drivers of HP, I have no idea how to connect to it and I tried two ways of connection THAT WPS is not working when I press on the road... nothing happens and the PIN, where are you suppose to enter the PIN, nothing comes up on my computer (USB connected)

I read the installation times pages but may not know what is wrong, any advice would be appreciated.

    Hi Lilly4,

I can certainly help you get the printer on the network and running again.

Follow the steps in this thread to turn the printer on the network without using the software or the WPS button. I think we do this way of success.

If you continue to experience a problem once the printer on the network, please let me know. Thank you.

    I hope this helps.

  • printer does not print wireless now that I added a password on our wireless account

Does not print my 611 3052 printer all-in-one wireless more.  I added a password to our wireless router and now it will not pick up the printer.  What should I do?

Well Yes, the reason why I proposed the software is that it is the only way to get the wifi password.

I would recommend you go to the front of the printer and go to settings > Wireless > default settings before running the software.

  • HP Deskjet 3050 has J611 series watch in trouble with wireless printing

    Hey there,

I have just a series of combat a HP Deskjet 3050 printer a J611 and wireless printing to work perfectly. However, for the last week or so is no more.

The printer is connected to the network, as the result of the wireless network test is proven and it is the same network that the laptop is connected to. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the software. The wireless light is on and I can see the signal strength and the IP address. However, it still works.

I also I sent an email to the printer to see if it worked. Initially, I received an automated email saying my printer is not connected to the internet and then printing will be delayed. I didn't touch the printer after that, but about 6 hours later it started to print.
I also tried to connect the printer with a USB key and configure settings wireless via USB does not work either. The computer cannot find a printer connected to the network. There is no firewall blocking the application or the printer.

    My settings:

    Router broadband wireless ADSL2 + -.
    Huawei EchoLife HG521
    TalkTalk
    Laptop - Medion Akoya E7214
    32-bit operating system
    Windows 7 Home Premium

Help with this would be much appreciated! Thank you!

I doubt disturbed the other printer.  Kaspersky can be a problem, but we're going to explore other things first.

We will set an IP address of the printer:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). If you do not know the range, change the last set of numbers (those after the last '.') 250
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the gateway.
-Enter for the first DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for second DNS.
    -Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

  • Help! Deskjet 3050 1 does not print wireless

I have a Dell computer, windows Vista and have had my printer for 5 months, working wireless no problem.  All of a sudden it will not work wireless, but will work with a USB key in.  The blue light on the printer wireless is enabled and the IP address appears on the small screen on the printer.  Is it always the case that there is something wrong with the printer itself and I need to return it? I'm not very high on the commands from the computer, but have not done something strange to change anything.  If I try to print something, the printer on my computer icon shows just job in the meantime.  I deleted the work he did not print.  Any help would be appreciated.

OK, your printer is properly connected to your router.  You don't need the USB cable.  Unplug unit.

Now, go to start > Control Panel > printers and delete all instances of the printer.  Now let's add the instance of the network printer:

    1. make sure the printer is on and connected to your network. Verify that you can access the printer's internal web page by accessing its IP address before continuing.
    2. click on > start > Control Panel > printers.
    3. click on add a printer
    4. Select local printer
    5. Select create a new port and select Standard TCP/IP Port, and click Next.
    6. under device type, select TCP/IP Device. Under the name of host or IP address, enter the IP address of the printer. Click Next.
    7. Select Hewlett-Packard in the list of manufacturers and select and select your printer model. Click Next.
If your printer model is not in the list, then select disk provided, browse the CD that came with your HP printer and select the first file begins with hp and ending with INF. click Open, then OK. Select your printer model. Click Next.
    8. If prompted, use the driver that is currently installed.
    9. He will ask the name of the printer - enter a new name or use the one existing. This will be the name of the printer that you select from other applications.
    10. we may ask you to share the printer. Choose No.
    11. the printing area of Test Page is displayed. Go ahead and print it out.
    12. click on finish.
