HP Deskjet F-4185 Installation (Windows 7 Home Premium SP 1 64-bit)-Center of Solution does not
I can't reinstall the software/driver correctly on my laptop for Deskjet F-4185. I downloaded the drivers on the HP site and have installed several times (after uninstalling). I also disabled the software anti-virus during installation process. I run HP Print and Scan doctor and did all the troubleshooting steps.
For now, I can print it, but scanning will not save as jpg files. When I click on the solution Center HP, the dialog box says that HP Solution Center cannot run because the device was not complete. He keeps asking to re - install from the CD or the original software.
It is a new problem, because this printer work with this laptop since 2010. Kindly, advice because I have several documents to be analyzed in the form of pdf files.
Well, you are probably right. I tried the uninstall L3 and had the same problem. Finally, at the end of my mind, I ran the disk e recovery on my laptop back to factory settings and installed the printer driver and software. Everything, including the Solution Center work!

I have the Windows 7 Home Premium Family Pack 32 bit version on 1 laptop and 2 desktops.
I'll be able to upgrade all 3 devices for Windows 64-bit under 10 free upgrade plan?
If so, each device will receive its own system tray notification icon?
I want to spend my architecture currently installed during the migration of Windows 10. Have I not this option with free upgrade offer?
- The free update does not have the ability to switch architectures, so architecture will remain the same. If you want to spend the architectures, you will need to download the 10 window. ISO file in the appropriate architecture (32 or 64 bit) and do a custom installation.

now, I'm using windows 7 Home Basic but in my google chrome and firefox does not please give me suggestion?
Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode. To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode. Then run a complete system scan.

If that suits him fine. If this is not the case, use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem. To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore. Click on the box that says show more restore points.
-
You can check the corrupted system files. Open an administrator command prompt and run SFC if the above does not help. Click START, and then type CMD in the search box, right-click on CMD. EXE and click run as administrator. Then, from the command prompt type sfc/scannow.
-
Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log. To do that click on start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools. Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.
`
When you get your system in good working condition, I invite you to back up your system up to an external hard drive and make it regular periodic updates.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

Windows 7 Home Premium - 'Upgrade' from 32 bit to 64 bit?
Two years ago, I used a student contract to purchase an upgrade from Windows Vista to Windows 7. At the time, I chose to download the 32-bit version and used the product key, I got with this version.
Now, I wish for a clean install and choose the 64 bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium. My PC seems to be ready, the Compatibility Center Windows says there is no problem with hard-ware. However, because I downloaded from the store, I have only a version of the 32-bit client on the spot.
I'll be able to run a clean install and use the product key that is currently used with my 32-bit Windows 7 with a downloaded version of the 64-bit client? If so, it is legal to download a generic version of the Windows 7 64-bit client considering I have the product key is legitimate? I can't go back into the store to choose a different download for some reason link any.
I would like to move to a 64 bit version of Windows 7 without having to repurchase all of the operating system, as it is too expensive for me right now.
Unable to start installing Windows 7 32 bit, you must boot from the disc.
To learn how to change your BIOS options to boot from the DVD drive, the following tutorial:
http://notebooks.com/2011/05/05/How-to-load-BIOS-and-change-boot-configuration/
Boot from the Windows 7 DVD
Click Install now
Accept the license agreement
When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next.
You will receive the following warning:
The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.
(At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK
The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.
Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.
You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

Windows Vista Home premium fresh install on a new SSD. Will not take any updates?
Well, it will install that then it would download 122 updates after installing the windows updates just restart in a loop. If I go into safe mode it will complete step 3, and then restarts loop once again, if I restart and return in safe mode it will remove all updates but does not start in normal mode. Help, please.
Hello
I would suggest trying the following steps and check if it helps.
(a) boot with the Vista DVD / disque disk recovery, select Repair Options , and then select command prompt (no admin password needed that way)
(b) now type C: (or any directory of your system files are located)
c) cd windows/winsxs
d) del pending.xml
(e) then close and restart the computer.
I also suggest you to update all the drivers of the computer as well.
