  Hello

  I have a Xbox 360 wired gamepad that works fine on my Xbox 360. When I connect it to my Windows 10 laptop, it is recognized. But when I connect it to my Windows 7 64 - bit office, on which I want to use it, it is not recognized.

  Here's what happens:

  1. the green ring on the controller flashes

  2. the said driver software installation window "Device driver software has not been installed successfully" and "No driver found" next to controller

  3 device Manager described in 'Other devices' a 'Controller' device with a yellow exclamation on its icon point.

  4. None of the following are displayed in the Device Manager (which should according to here: http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-on-windows/accessories/xbox-controller-for-windows-help):

  Human interactive devices

  • HID-compliant game controller
  • USB Human Interface Device

  Microsoft Common Controller for Windows class:

  • Xbox 360 Controller for Windows

  I already have:

  1 downloaded and installed the Xbox 360 accessories software 1.2 for Windows 7 64 bit on the MS Hardware site. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times.

  2. I tried different USB ports on my desktop, as well front and back, USB 2.0 and 3.0

  3. run the tool material and features like suggested here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-hardware/wired-xbox-360-controller-to-pc-problem-please/b1c4b44e-8482-4630-88e4-da368eb8d650

  4. I tried software update driver of in Device Manager

  5. uninstall the device 'Controller' then reconnected the controller

  all these have failed and led to the same results. Can anyone suggest what else to try?

  For any other person who has this problem, here is the solution that solved the problem:

  1) go to the Device Manager

  Right 2) click the device with the yellow exclamation mark on it (assuming that the device is plugged) and choose Update driver software. If the Option is not there, click on properties, got to Diver tab, then update driver.

  3) click Browse my computer for driver software

  (4) click on let me pick from a list...

  (5) scroll down to the Microsoft common controller for the window class and choose

  Choose 6) version 2.1.0

  Install Windows 8 on HP Touchsmart 520 is really a nightmare. Usually, the display driver installation procedure and Voltron Touchscreen product error 9998 drivers.   The pilot (Nextwindow Voltron Touchscreen) updates automatically after the installation of Win 8 RTM when you only run Windows Update routine. At least in my case it did, and it works fine.

  I created a simple vi with Labview 2009 for resetting a counter in the registry key. I changed it to an exe. The program works well on any machine with XP, but it does not work on the machine, that I need on which is running Windows 2000 SP4. I have installed the runtime of 2009, but I keep getting an error when it starts the vi is not executable and I need the full development to correct errors. But like I said it works everywhere else. I tried other exe wrote in LV2009 on this machine and they work. Is there something in my vi which is not compatible with Windows 2000?

  I looked through countless questions simple pass and found no clue.

  I'm used to simple passage, recognizing the need for a u/p that it registers the new website or offers for me to slide my finger for an existing installation.  This is nothing.  It is runing as I see in taskman.

  Recently, I've reconfigured my logon as a standard user.  I can't see exactly that as a starting point, but that is the only change that I can remember.

  I might suggest that the account on the other is the fix.  The idea of alternative / new account was first suggested 06/11/2013 and now once again in Lil_Lisa27 (thank you, Lisa!).  Everything you've tried, it's the only solution that has accomplished the goal: get SimplePass working on your Windows 7 operating system.

  You can use the transfer tool to move account data or you can simply move to the new account, and then set the ownership and permissions.

  You can also continue to seek a solution based on the knowledge that it was discovered the underlying problem to the environment into account in this particular account.  Once you have your new account to work the way you want, you can certainly leave the account 'broken' in the system and continue to push what you think of new things to try to fix the SimplePass database.

  Be sure to create a Restore Point before you make changes to the program or anything outside your account.

• Intel Wimax 5350 works only with windows 7/t400

  As someone who uses the Server 2008 on my desktop, when I received my t400 a few days ago I hesitated at the idea of using vista.  so I decided to download and install windows 7 64-bit (Vista 32 bit... I did an install own good... I think).  I haven't heard of anyone having problems with the drivers wireless in windows 7 and, indeed, intel States on their site that windows 7 will automatically install the drivers for the card 5350 wireless.

  Unfortunately, during the installation of windows 7 was complete the drivers were not installed and I don't have access to the internet.  I therefore had to take my Office Wireless usb adapter, then plug it to access the internet.  Windows Update has not fixed the problem.  so I installed the visa of intel 64-bit drivers and windows told me that my wimax device has been recognized, the drivers have been installed, etc.

  except the wireless card still does not work!  He is currently under listening network cards as area network/2 connection cable unplugged/intel wimax link 5350.  I do not understand... should not it listed as being a wireless network connect as is my usb adapter?

  I think that the problem might be that in Device Manager, I don't have a driver for the controller network, serial port pci or pci simple communications controller.

  It is quite frustrating and I really regret not putting more thought in this installation of windows 7.

  My HP Deskjet 722C now works!  I spent several hours trying different things only to find out it was the cable use to connect the printer to our new computer.  He is there not a lot of info on the package of cable but if you watched closely he said it worked only with Win XP, me and Vista.  Who would have thought that the cable wasn't working with some BONE... me!  Once we went and bought a new cable ($40, Ouch!), we were running a few minutes.  I don't know that a cheaper cable is available online.

  I wanted to post this in the hope of saving someone money, time and frustration on the other.

  After you install clear 10 Windows in my laptop TECRA S11-160, Device Manager found no sensor HARD drive protection, so within the parameters of this protection cannot be enabled. What I have to go back to windows 7 and upgrade to Win 10, or is there another solution?

  I therefore installed Windows 8 (new install, no upgrades) on the machine and since then the card reader does not work. I downloaded and installed the drivers from the Lenovo Web site and after the failure of Driver Genius, and of ThinkVantage System Update 5.03. Still doesn't work, I install them, but after I reboot it is installed but does not have the card reader (it worked before on Windows 7, the same day, I installed W8). I've updated to 8.1 and the problem persists.

  Yesterday, I did a clean install of Windows 8.1 DVD and did not install anything other than the minimum Lenovo drivers/packages to date (updated system from Lenovo and Lenovo Solution Center). Windows had a notification message that I had to install a driver for the Ricoh media player and its link took me to the download page for Lenovo 2.24.18.01 - what X 230 X 220 and I saw the 2.25.18.01 version too so that, on the contrary (if I was going to risk using the X 230 that I might as well use later). Anyway, I was watching the CPU with a lot of attention and it works fine.

  Note in the case where it is relevant - when I installed the driver, I didn't have an inserted SD card.

  Hi, I have a R4 M17x and tried to use my Xbox 360 with HDMI-IN but it works only for a second then goes black but the sound still works.

  I Googled it and the only thing I could find is that apparently it doesn't properly earn 8.1?

  For anyone else having the same problem, I tried the 352.86 driver and managed to do work for most, what you are to put the lid nothing when closed and switch to HDMI-IN, it shows for 1 second then goes black, then close and open the lid and it will appear and work. :-)
