Hello rajeshdugar, I checked the specifications of your system, which can be found here .

These features tell you almost all the information you need to improve your system.

The only concern here is the power of the power supply. It is more likely isn't enough to provide sufficient power to add the maximum processor, video card and memory.

To do this safely, you must consider replacing the power supply with a higher power supply.

Given all of these improvements, you could almost buy a new system with these upgraded components for a cost slightly higher than the level of your current system.

I hope this helps.

  • Upgrade to a Satellite 1805-514 with a CPU and HARD drive

    Hello

Several years ago I bought the laptop mentioned above. Unfortunately, the laptop no longer starts because of a damaged hard drive.
Now I'm looking for a replacement. My dealer offered me several hard disks with a capacity of 40 GB to 80 GB. 1805-514 does support large hard drives?

In addition my dealer gave me a 1, 13ghz Pentium 3 mobile. Does make sense to replace a processor 1 Ghz Celeron with a 1, 13 Ghz P3?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English

    Hello

In my opinion, it makes no sense to upgrade the processor 1 GHz to 1.13 GHz to form
The difference between these two processors is not high and you have no sensation of the increase in the performance of the laptop.

I put t know compatible hard drives for Satellite 1805 but for Satellite 1800. But these two units are very similar.
As far as I know, you can use the 10 GB, 15 GB, 20 GB and 30 GB.
I think that the BIOS will not recognize the larger HARD drive.

  • I upgraded my card mother cpu ram and hard drive. I reinstalled windows xp home edition has got all of the updates. After 9 latest updates download and installtion went well, I restarted the computer, I get a blue screen and the computer restarts

I upgraded my card mother cpu ram and hard drive. I reinstalled windows xp home edition has got all of the updates. After 9 latest updates download and installtion was going well until I rebooted the computer and go to page window showing all the icons that I get a blue screen and the computer restarts its self and does not stop. How can this be corrected?

    Hi KevinRy,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

    Unplug all external devices.

Try to start in safe mode. If you can start in safe mode, and then do a system restore to restore the computer to an earlier point in time.

Change the recovery settings to disable automatic reboot, if you are able to boot up to the desktop computer:

    1.

Right-click my computerand then click Properties.

    2.

    Click the Advanced tab.

    3.

Under Startup and recovery, click settings to open the Startup and recovery dialog box.

    4.

Clear the automatically restart check box, and then click OK many times necessary.

    5.

Restart your computer so that the settings take effect.

Now, when you are going to close and a fatal error occurs, you will see at least and it won't cause an automatic restart.

Please reply back with the error message you get because it helps us to resolve the error.

    Kind regards

  • SL 410 Upgrade ram and hard drive

    Hi all

I have been using the 410-2842-rk1 model Lenovo thinkpad SL for a year and a half.

    No problems until now

I want to upgrade the RAM and hard drive of this machine.

At the time of purchase, I had seen that I could improve up to 1 TB of hard drive.

Please guide me if I can or not.

About the RAm too, I need assistance (maximum limit I can update)

    Thanks in advance...

You can switch to a 1 TB HDD providing it will fit physically. They are more hard are 9.5 mm thick but some hard drives of 1 TB are 12.5 mm thick. If you get a 9.5 mm HARD drive then it will work. Readers of 12.5 mm is too thick to fit.

Regarding the RAM, you can install up to 8 GB of RAM, which is 2 x 4 GB.

  • Envy 15 t: upgrade memory and hard drive HP ENVY 15t

Hi guys, I just bought the HP Envy 15 not touch t (ae100) with the following characteristics:

-CPU & graphics: 6th generation Intel Core i7-6700HQ Quad Core processor + Intel HD Graphics 530

    -Memory: 8 GB DDR3L - 1 DIMM

-Hard drive: 1 TB 5400 RPM hard drive

I have a few questions about it. First of all, my laptop doesn't have a vacant unit of m2 where I can insert an SSD and if not a SATA 3 2.5-inch SSD fits instead of the hard disk without additional fixing or need support.

Second, is there an empty memory slot to insert a 8 GB of additional ram.

Any kind of assistance will be extremely useful and thanks in advance.

No crack m2. From the Manual:

Only dedicated support of storage SATA m2 (Port 0) (models with i7 processors and 4 GB memory graphics)

So if you have Intel HD video only you do not have a slot m2.

Here's the manual for your use:

    Repair manuals

Yes on the memory 8 GB 2d module:

Both not accessible/upgradable module DDR3L-1600 slots double channel memory support 16 GB of RAM in the following conƭgurations ● 16384-Mo (8192 MB × 2)

Access to the memory and hard drive are obtained by removing the lower cover. Technically this is not allowed to the end user if security is jeopardized.

A standard 2.5 inch SATA SSD to integrate perfectly in the original hardware for hard disk 5400 RPM. It is a highly recommended update. The 16 GB of RAM not so much, but it's one of those things "might as well" If you are determined to go there.

Let us know if you need more information.

  • A1103 new Ram and HARD drive will not start

    Hello.

I have a Mac mini A1103. When I got there the folder flashing with question mark. I got a macbook earlier where this problem was solved by installing a new hard drive. so I ordered a new 160 GB IDE 2.5 "5400 RPM and 1 GB Corsair Valueselect DDR1 333 MHz hoping that this will help me get the mini running and preforming a little better with 512 MB of Ram.

When I boot the mini after swapping ram and hard drive I always see the same flashing folder. I can reset the NVRAM Boot, enter diskmode target? (I think) and the Boot Manager.

When I enter the Boot Manager I can see the following screen

a few times I get to this screen for Open Firmware screen where I can use certain commands such as vram-reset reset-all rebot and so, but sometimes I'm just stuck on this screen.

Anyone have any suggestions on what is wrong and what I can try next? I do not have the boot original dvd but I have a usb bootable with IOS 10.6 and a dvd with IOS 10.6 (not original) but I can't get botting from any of the devices.

A Mac Mini A1103 has a G4 Power PC processor and cannot be greater than 10.5.8. Superior OSX versions require an Intel processor.

In this statement "a usb bootable with IOS 10.6 and a dvd with IOS 10.6 (not original)" I think you mean OSX, not of iOS. You must obtain a copy of the original installation disc which was 10.3 or 10.4 or disk to upgrade to 10.4 or 10.5 full retail. Coverall A1103 all three 2005 models of the Mac Mini G4.

You cannot use a grey disc unless it was delivered with your specific Mac.  Native gray disc with Macs and can not e used on the other model of disc.

You can probably call Apple and order a copy of the original disks

  • Satellite L70-A-139 - guaranteed zero when removing the cover for the RAM and HARD drive

    Hi all

    I have a Satellite L70-A-139 youcef.
And at the back of the laptop, there is a cover that is fixed with a screw.

Wil I void the warranty when I unscrew and take a look?
I want to upgrade my HDD to SSD.
The motherboard supports Sata III: D.

    Thank you!

No, the mandate must still be valid.
There is a removable cover at the bottom of the unit as shown here:
    [Toshiba Satellite C70 / C75 / C70D / C75D / L70 / L70t / S70 / HARD S70t drive replacement procedure | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/CRU3703HG0000R01.htm]

Then you should be able to upgrade the RAM and HARD drive.
I think this info should be mentioned in the user manual too.

  • 23 - f270: RAM and hard drive one device?

    Hello

I had recently a hard drive has failed/bad in my computer that was just out of warranty, so I took my computer to a computer repair man who said he could replace the old/bad disk with a new one.  This man didn't really hold up to the end of his contract, and now I find myself in a dispute with him as he always has my HP PC and he gave me a lesser Dell as if to replace.  Now, I contacted the office busniness better for resolving this dispute.  But it is now trying to claim that he gave me the HP drive hard and RAM unit.  This man gave me was a rectangular metal box telling me that it was the old bad hard drive.  So what I need to know is are the hard drive and RAM in this a model room?  I need proof that if the RAM is not present, he was the one who pulled it and sold it.  They only gave me one of the components of the computer, and I would like to know if the RAM and hard drive are one or two pieces of sepearte?

    Thank you

    Hello

RAM and hard drive (HDD) are two different things. Your machine has 6 GB of RAM, which means it has 2 sticks, and 1 TB of HDD (1 unit). His record:

Anyone out there who would try to open their laptop Toshiba Satellite A50, what type of RAM and hard disk of brand you all have inside?
All the portable toshiba comes with Toshiba RAM and hard drive?

    Hello

As far as I know the Satellite A50 uses DDR PC2700 modules. These modules must be compatible:
    PC2700 256 MB (PA3311U - 1 M 25)
    PC2700 512 MB (PA3312U - 1 M 51)
    1024MO PC2700 (PA3313U-1M1G)

There are different models of Satellite A50, but I think that there should be a drive HARD IDE(ATA-6) 60 GB 4200 RPM with 8 MB buffer size.

Here is all the information I found.

I had Compaq 6710 b and I'll update my Ram and HARD drive on it with these (link here)

On the system view, it says memory: 1.99 Gb and the Crucial site gives these details:

    Maximum memory: 4 GB

  • Responsible for Vista and works fine for about 2 days now, I get the product in use key try AnotherOne coming soon. I have old MB and HARD drive if that can help prove that I only want to use the key on a single machine.

As noted, my motherboard has failed.  IDE only AGP CPU core.  Not much use trying to find anotherof those.  Replaced the motherboard with a newer version.  It has SATA, multi core processor, etc.  Processor and HARD drive had to be replaced.

My Vista home premium 32 bit running on my machine for years.  I loaded it on the upgrade with no problems.  Went to windows update and SP1 and then SP2 and all other windows updates suggest and worked very well, for a few days.

Now, I get a message that the product key is already used and need to buy AnotherOne coming soon.

I didn't really want to do.

  • Problem upgrading to 4K Advanced Format hard drive (Windows Update)

I am running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit, on a Lenovo ThinkPad W500 laptop. I am trying to upgrade my Seagate 320 GB hard drive for Western Digital WD-Blue 1 TB. The new drive has 4K (Advanced Format) sectors, as opposed to the sectors of 512 bytes, which seems to be the cause of some problems with Windows. The operating system loads, however, Windows Update will not work, and various programs give strange guests.
The old drive was cloned to the new using Acronis True Image WD Edition. Alignment has been checked using Acronis WD Align. I clone the old drive. cleaning Windows installation is not an option.
Microsoft has this article for what seems to be my problem: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/982018. I have already run this file (before the cloning), but the problem remains.

I believe that the problem has been resolved, I downloaded Intel RST 9.6.0.1014. The latest version could not be installed on my machine and slightly older than more recent knocked out of my DVD player. Older than 9.6 had the problem with allowing a training of 4K, but 9.6 seems to have been appropriate.
  • Satellite C660 - compatibility between motherboard and hard drive internal

Hi, I have a problem with the compatibility between the internal (1 terabyte) hard drive and installing windows 7 pro.
I broke my old internal hard drive (320 GB) and I bought the new hd (1 tb), but during the installation it says that w7 cannot be installed on this new hard drive.

Can my pc motherboard (serial number: 3B071014k) support the new hard drive (serial number: wd10jpvx)?
and if the answer is 'yes', how can I make it work?

First of all the question has nothing to do with the motherboard and HARD drive compatibility.
If the HARD drive is visible in the BIOS (first page), the HARD drive is supported by the BIOS and HARD disk controller.
In the case where the drive HARD isn't recognized, you will need to replace this HARD drive with another. I guess the smaller size of the 2.5 SATA HDD THAT would be taken in charge (500 GB)

However, in case the HARD disk is visible in the BIOS, you should be able to install Windows 7.
Before starting the installation, you must format the HARD drive and should create the system partition.
For this procedure, I recommend to use some tools such as partitions for example: GParted
GParted is a freeware Linux tool.
You can create a bootable USB key in order to start the device using GParted:
    http://gparted.sourceforge.NET/LiveCD.php

Then, you should be able to format the HARD disk and create partitions.
