HP ENVY 15 J2E80EA #ABU: BRAND NEW HP ENVY 15 NOTEBOOK GEL

Hello

I bought a HP envy laptop just 2 weeks ago and since day 1, it was freezing for no apparent reason with only IE and Skype used.  When it freezes I can't do anything with the laptop until it either restarts itself (usually after 10-15 minutes), or restart it myself.

I contacted HP remote support in the first week that accesed the computer and ensured all windows updates have been made and verified various other things on the pc.

Yesterday I spoke to support via the phone and they still access the computer searching for malicious programs and told me that if she continued to do so, I would need to do a refresh of the factory and then eventually back to HP?  The guy who I spoke to Daniel called at HP told me he would send me all the details of what I'm supposed to do next, but it didn't...

Not too impressed, given the time I got it...

HP colleages or anyone here any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Correct: HP Support Assistant is a diagnostic tool or Updater for Windows Software, HP and a few tips for Hardware Diagnostics.

If you want to create HP recovery media you use (HP recovery media creation) software preinstalled on your computer: and for stuff like reinstalling driver & software are you using (HP Recovery Manager).

Let me know what you want to do

1: create a media recovery HP or factory reinstall computer or repair?

  • HP Envy 15 t-as000: brand new HP Envy w / SSD: "Boot Device not found".

    Hello

I have a brand new (less than 1 week) HP Envy 15 t-as000 w / a 256 GB SSD.  After the impeccable behavior for 1 week, the laptop can be started is no longer.  No boot device is detected.  If I try to run a diagnostic on the hard disk, the BIOS I was informed that it can not detect even a current hard drive (see image)

I don't know what happened.  I'm very careful with my machines.  He has not been abandoned. It has not been dropped on, or taken any sort of somehow.  I just pressed the power button one day (yesterday) and I see this:

Thanks for the tips. I followed your recommendations and sent the laptop to HP for replacement (I bought this unit directly to the output from the HP website).

However, I am frustrated because after all taxes and transportation costs, I had to pay an additional amount of $10.  The total general of the replacement order was $739,79 against $730,90 for the original purchase.  Why am I penalized $ 10 ($8,89 to be exact) for a mistake that was not even my fault?

Also, I had to pay $24,83 FedEx packaging to send the laptop back.  How was I supposed to know I should have brought the Moose with me to Seattle, WA in Ithaca, NY packaging because the SSD was going to fail in my college dorm?

So in the end, my HP Envy $730,90 now goes to the identical replacement of cost unit $739,79 + packaging from FedEx $24,83 phone = $ 764,62.

Bottom line: screw - up HP cost me $33,72!  Not the end of the world but still a ringing sound nice when you're not yet a career with a cushy salary of mickael elite.

  • Brand new HP Envy 17 gel daily

    Hello

Last Friday, I bought a brand new HP Envy 17 (Finnish model) 2050eo.  On the first day, he started to freeze on me at least once a day.  The mouse does not move, ctrl + alt + delete does not work, nothing - screen just freezes. Hard reboot needed.  Always happens when I download something and I noticed that my wireless is down several times a day (Gets a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark): it is something that does not happen with my other laptops and never happened, so the problem is this laptop in particular.

I've updated all the drivers I could, as well as my windows 7 - nothing seems to help with the problem of gel.

I'm no expert, but tried to look at the event viewer... and I really think that this has something to do with my network card - don't know if it could have an impact on the graphics card too in some way then.

Please help me because I don't know what more I can do, and I don't expect such a expensive laptop to give me problems from day one.  I really just look again at this stage...

    Hello

It really starts to look like a hardware problem, most likely with the wireless adapter - the only other process that may be worth trying is to reinstall the operating system to see if it improves the question - it is known since the initial bad installation.

Otherwise, I really recommend that you call the retailer you bought again and insist on a replacement - I live in England and the possibility of obtaining a replacement is normally during the first 28 days of the date of purchase, then you can check the laws where you live this topic because I have a feeling you might well be in your right to expect of the product needs to be replaced not repaired.

Let me know how you go.

    Kind regards

  • HP Envy - battery - charge only to 50% (brand new!)

    • Model: m6-1225dx
    • SKU: 7703056
    • HP - ENVY 15.6 "laptop
    • Windows 8

Hello! I hope someone can provide some guidance. I have seen a lot of useful information on these cards, especially on this issue, but I think mine is a bit tricky...

I bought a new HP Envy Monday (today is Wednesday) and I noticed that the battery is charged at 50% (the battery icon, when you go over it, says 50% load)

I found this curious, because I got the battery plugged for more than 8 hours.

I made sure the strings have been correctly connected, removed and added to the battery, etc.. I found some additional information and checked the battery HP using HP Support system, and he says that the battery must be replaced. This test is accurate? I have to really replace a battery for a laptop brand new?

Should I try another test before asking for a new battery? Thank you in advance for your help!

    -M.T.

    Hello

It certainly seems that the machine comes with a defective battery, so my best advice would be to return the laptop (not only the battery) to the retailer you bought it and get a replacement.

    Best regards

  • HP Envy 17: No HDMI out Audio Option on laptop, brand new HP Envy 17

I'm watching youtube and other video streaming on my TV. I have a receiver that has 5 hdmi that I use to run my appliances. When I plug my cable HDMI video playback on my tv but not audio, and I hear the external device disconnect sound. I opened the Device Manager and see a mistake above Hi Definition audo device under sound. I am very frustrated trying to diagnose this. HP support has updated the bios and searched, and pretty much shrugged and said we do not know. I've updated the audio driver and no chance here. On my 8 year old laptop, wives, all you do is right click on the white speaker and select an hdmi output.

    Cliffs:

Plug HDMI laptop brand new, video plays on TV no sound, tried installing new drivers and updated CV updated the bios and still no luck.

No option to HDMI in the playback devices

    I tried 5 different cords

Cannot start the error above Hi Def Audio Device under Device Manager Code 10 device

Replacing the motherboard seems to be the best resolution if the HDMI port has indeed.  I suggest to use the warranty. I ask that your question is raised.

  • AccelerometerSt.exe error on the computer Windows 10 brand new

I have the same problem that many others have with the Application AccelerometerSt.exe error.   BUT, I have a brand new - 1 week old computer and it came with 10 windows already on it.  I have the HP Envy x 360.   How do you intend that to solve the problem.   If you uninstall and reinstall Windows 10, I'll need much more detailed information.   I don't know how to do this - which was the reason why I only watched computers with her already preinstalled.

    Hello

    Try the following.

Open windows control panel, open programs and features, make a right click the entry for HP 3D DriveGuard and select uninstall.

When this has completed, restart the laptop.

When windows has reloaded, download and install the version of DriveGuard on the following link.

I have an old Mac Mini with a DVI Port that came with a VGA DVI-adapter.  Tonight, my monitor went down.  Brand new monitor works with that? Any recommendations? Can I use an adapter?  If yes should which adapter I?

You can use any DVI monitor DVI port directly or have any VGA monitor with the power that you adapter. A HDMI monitor might work with an adapter DVI to HDMI in a pinch, but HDMI tends to be more fickle.

  • How can I get my serial number or IEMI number for me to make an appointment at a genius bar or get help online when my iPhone brand new completely deserted?

How can I get my serial number or IEMI number for me to make an appointment at a genius bar or get help online when my iPhone brand new completely deserted?

The IMEI number is printed on the back of the phone, unless it's an iPhone 6. You can also find the serial number by eject the tray of the SIM card on the right side of the phone (insert a paper clip or similar object into the hole). It is in very small print at the bottom of the status bar.

It should also be in the box the iPhone provided in if you bought Apple or an authorized dealer.

  • AppStore crashes on my brand new ipad 9.7 pro, how to fix

AppStore crashes immediately on my brand new ipad 9.7 pro, how can I solve this problem?

That have you tried so far for example have you tried

-closing of the application via the taskbar of the iPad ( force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support)

-do a soft-reset/reboot of the iPad ("force restart" on this page: restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support)

If they don't fix it you tried:

-backup (purchases by copying on to your computer's iTunes library: file > devices > transfer purchases) and restoring the backup

-l'iPad resetting to the factory settings (after copy purchases through your computer's iTunes library and the print out of documents and photos) and sync just the content back

Can someone help me? I am trying to download iMovie which normally should be free with other Apple applications, but for full reason he always says that I have to pay for it. And I Shen a brand-new iPhone updated to IOS 9 5s. Can someone give me advice on what to do?

iMovie and iLife and iworks Apps are free with the purchase of a new device.

Since Apple is no longer selling the iPhone 5 s, she cannot be considered more for free apps.

However, just to be safe, disconnect you from the iTunes and App Stores-> Apple ID in the settings on the new iPhone 5 s, then reset the iPhone in now the home and power buttons together for 10 to 15 seconds. Let the iPhone reboot and then sign in with your Apple ID in iTunes and the App Store and try to get the Apps again.

  • Laptop is not repairable, so I got a brand new

    With all due respect,.

I have a dilemma on my upgrade from windows 7 Home premium.
Well, I bought a laptop brand new in January 2010. His pre installed OS is Windows Vista Home Premium.
I got the coupon for the upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium, and I bought the upgrade. Suddenly my laptop stopped working at the end of July (2011). It is under warranty and the service took my laptop. After a long time they told me it could not be repaired and they offered me a new laptop, the same model. But this model has Windows Vista Home Premium and I want to have Windows 7 again... I bought this laptop because there is an option to update. It is not my fault to not be repaired. So now my question is: what can I do now?

Can I use the same disc for the upgrade, because the model is the same. And what to do now when this new serial number will not be the same thing?

Please help me what to do... I was not blamed for the crash from laptop to the title of the warranty period. I just wanted to have Toshiba again. And now I'm worried what to do...
Thank you very much for your support and your time.

    Yours faithfully,
    Ann

    Hello Ann
