  I just bought a HP Envy 17 - j020us today. It came stock with Windows 8 is installed and I have, for my own reasons, decided to install Windows 7 above. Long story short, the installation has worked, for the most part. The only problem was that I was missing some drivers. However, there's still about 3 pieces of material that is not installed, the drivers with the network controller.   I have a HP ENVY 17-J020US Quad Edition and I'm looking for "Intel HD Graphics Driver". The Support page and House HP driver heading the wrong driver and HP support was no help. The graphics card is an Intel HD Graphics 4600. Operating system is Windows 10-64 bit updated since Windows 8.1. Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thank you

  I rolled back to Windows 8.1. It's not worth the hassle, but thank you for your suggestions. My main problem was, I couldn't open RAW files in Photoshop using the GPU. This occurred after the upgrade to Windows 10 so I decided to go back because all the drivers that you mentioned, I already had on my system. Thanks again for all your help and Merry Christmas.,.

• HP Envy 17-j020us: audio Beats and backlit keyboard does not

  Hello. I bought a HP Envy 17-j020us on ebay, used laptop, about two weeks ago. They said that it is only 4 months. I must say that it is a little new. In any case, they had updated to 8.1 Pro Win. I think that when they have updated they lost Beats audio drivers or something, because the sound quality, I really look forward to, is less poor and there is no equalization anywhere. In addition, the keyboard which is supposed to be an impressive show backlit to see... is not backlit.  So, I could be wrong... but I really think it's just a matter of some drivers or something simple because of the upgrade.   I can cut/copy and paste the url and the text to speech, etc, but I am unable to cut/copy and paste files in Windows File Explorer. I tried malwarebytes and virus programs running.   Have you tried the three methods of cutting and pasting? Using the keyboard shortcuts CTRL-X CTRL-V, right click on the file and selecting cut, then using the tape from the file Explorer / File menu.

  If you have tried all three, the next thing to try is a boot minimum to see if something is in the background to block the order. A clean boot loads Windows with the drivers and the minimal software. This link of Support technique Microsoft will show you how do it.

  Once you have made the clean boot try three methods of cutting and pasting. If it works the next step is to go back to msconfig (see Microsoft link above) and enable half the services you shut-off valve to the clean boot. Then try to cut and paste again. Keep half of the remaining services that allows until you cannot cut and paste, then disable half of the services that you just active. This, until what specify you what service has problem.

  If after all that you still have a problem then the next step would be to backup your files on an external hard drive or a USB flash drive and then doing a complete System Recovery.

  I had to do a refresh of Windows and now my product key is not valid. I contacted Microsoft and they said it was leaked and I need to contact HP. Before I called them, I contacted HP and they said I had to contact Microsoft.

  I replaced my hard drive Windows 8.1 with a PNY 240 GB SSD and Windows 7 64-bit.  Everything worked very well! Installed all the drivers, everything has worked very well!  Restarted several times, everything worked fine!  Portable stop for the night, the next morning I turn on the laptop and get this error message:

  Okay, I'm running.  In the System Configuration UEFI clicked 'Load HP Factory Default keys', this restored "Secure Boot" who has restored the laptop as long as you work!  Thanks for the help.

  I just bought a HP Envy 5640 printer.

  It works very well, but every time I have to print a photo in Photo 1.0.1 NICU OS X 10.10.5, Photos will be leaving after that print is sent to the printer.

  The photo prints fine, but needs pictures to be restarted every time.

  I've not seen posted here - but since you are more than a year behind in updates, bug fixes and new features, you can see a verry old bug that has been fixed many years ago for people who follow to this day - unless he ia a clue right for you m = not updated I suggest you backup and update of OS X Sierra = and Photos 2.0 - this never can solve your problem

  CPU cycles was about 50% this morning and discovered that the HP Support Solutions Framework service was 40 + % permanently.   No problems so far with high utility usage.  Problem started not with the update of the birthday that was filled with 4 days and there are several reboots.

  At a chat session with HP support, but they couldn't help.

  I stopped running - task seems to restart every time I run the HP support assistant and continues with + 40% of CPU usage.
