  Just bought a HP Envy 5544. Delighted with the quality of printing on paper.

  However, I make cards and use good quality card. What is the heaviest weight I can put in the printer? Happy to put a sheet at a time - it's more about the weight it can handle rather than the number of sheets.

  Must say that card UK manufacturers who claim a special weight for example 250 g/m² is actually varies in thickness.

• 5544 envy: 'Thank you for the installation of genuine HP cartridges' pop up with each printing.

  Whenever I print, HP I please use their cartridges. I intend to buy cartridges not HP just to stop. Is there another way?

  I reinstalled the cartridges, unplugged and restarted the computer and the printer, look in the drivers for the solutions, I looked in the HP printer assistant. Nothing has worked. Please help with your ideas.

  You can try to change the settings in print server properties.

  Click to select your printer, click the printer server properties, then click on Advanced tab and check both boxes "show notifications of information...". ».  Click on apply and then click OK.

• HP Envy 15: No button left or right on the area of control of hp envy 15

  Just bought the Envy 15 and noticed, it has an area of control.  Cannot know what takes the place of the left and right buttons.  I am helpless without them.  It's my first introduction to windows 8.  I used Vista before.

  On this model, I think you press right on the front corner left & right of the touchpad for left/right mouse button function.

• HP envy 5530 does not print

  I recently bought a HP Envy 5530 printer.  After the introduction, it wouldn't print.  I am using the USB cable, but also tried the WiFi and no work.

  I have a HP Pavilion dv9500 laptop.  It is currently running Windows 7 Home Premium with Service Pack 1 and is the 32-bit operating system.

  The printer is such that it is installed.  It is stated that the selected printer and is online.  When I try to print from any application, I get the printer bit incontinence, but it shows 0 documents in the queue.   The box of the printer that arises from the application indicates that the printer is selected but inactive.

  I made sure that I have all the widows and the HP updates.  I ran the diagnostic printer, printing HP and doctor to analyze and troubleshoot HP Instalation default - MSI following all the recommended steps.  None of them solve the problem.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I wanted to thank you for your attempts to help me, but I decided to give up.  As the HP Envy 5530 worked correctly on the computer of my brother, I gave it to him.  His older HP Deskjest D4160 loaded and worked on my computer, so he gave it to me.  I'm sorry, we couldn't get the HP Envy 5530 takes over and works fine on my computer.

• HP Envy 100 - impossible to activate the scan from the printer

  I use an iMac end of 2012 and spin the Mavericks. Envy is connected to my WiFi.

  I was never able to get the urge to turn on a scan from the printer. When I press on the analysis on the printer, I get 3 options and choose 'computer '. I can get some information from introduction to scanning the computer. He says this analysis for computer is activated automatically when the printer is first set up and I need to have installed the HP printing software. This means to me that something has not been properly Setup and I can't work it out. I just updated my software as a result of Mavericks. I regularly print to the printer and am able to activate a scan of my computer.

  I read a few posts on the software uninstallation. If necessary, I don't know what needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled and how I could do that.

  Can anyone help?

  HI - my apologies for the slow response.

  Would it not possible to check to see if "Scan to Computer" is enabled in the utility application from HP?  This application must be in the folder Applications/Hewlett-Packard.

  Once the application opens, you may need to select your device if it is not already selected.  The configuration option "Scan to Computer" should appear at the bottom of the document window (see attachment "Utility HP - selected ENVY").

  Try to open the "Scan to Computer" configuration item and display settings.  Please refer to attachments "utility HP - Scan to computer do not activated" and "Utility HP - compatible computer Scan" for what that might look like if the feature is enabled or disabled.

  Let me know what you see.

  Also - since your connection to the printer on a wireless network, have you tried to move the printer closer to the router or wireless access point wireless?  I'm curious to know if there may be some intermittent network connectivity that is to interrupt the function computer scanning.  I would try to move the printer right next to the wireless router access point / wireless to see if that helps the issue.

  I'm trying to compile the "Hello World" code C base with gcc, but the following error message:

  Okay, so nobody has responded, but I found a solution. This is the version of gcc, apparently more recent versions have this bug, one that works and compiles the codes is the 4.9 version, in case it would be useful to someone.

  I just bought a HP Envy 5640 printer.

  It works very well, but every time I have to print a photo in Photo 1.0.1 NICU OS X 10.10.5, Photos will be leaving after that print is sent to the printer.

  The photo prints fine, but needs pictures to be restarted every time.

  Does anyone have the same problem?

  I've not seen posted here - but since you are more than a year behind in updates, bug fixes and new features, you can see a verry old bug that has been fixed many years ago for people who follow to this day - unless he ia a clue right for you m = not updated I suggest you backup and update of OS X Sierra = and Photos 2.0 - this never can solve your problem

• I have a MacBook Pro, who hates contact my HP Envy 7640 printer all-in-one. Printing can take as long as 10 minutes! If it prints at all! Does anyone have similar problems?

  ENVY 15, 10 Windows version 1607

  CPU cycles was about 50% this morning and discovered that the HP Support Solutions Framework service was 40 + % permanently.   No problems so far with high utility usage.  Problem started not with the update of the birthday that was filled with 4 days and there are several reboots.

  At a chat session with HP support, but they couldn't help.

  I stopped running - task seems to restart every time I run the HP support assistant and continues with + 40% of CPU usage.

  Any suggestions please?   Y at - it an update utility that I have to download?

  Following our normal wireless troubleshooting tool is the best way to solve almost all of the cases, but with this specific model with the AMD processor jump directly to make sure that update BIOS F.06 or most recent would be necessary.

  Please, try the following steps and hope this helps!

  1. Go to settings-> devices-> devices
  2. Click the Device Manager link at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Open "printers".
  4. Then uninstall/remove the "unknown device" if present.
  5. Restart Windows 10 update.

  It is exepcted, the ePrint print mail attahed content or supported only the files, not the subject of the e-mail:

  Type a subject in the subject line. An empty e-mail subject line can cause the HP ePrint Server cancel the print job.
