HP ENVY 700-059C: System Unhandled Exception in Thread

I encountered this problem (see subject line) a few weeks ago and I was able to restore my computer to a previous state where, for all I could tell, everything worked perfectly. Since then, I have never shut down the computer. When I leave the computer I put in mode 'sleep'. Yesterday, I tried to restart the computer, and since then, I've been in a continuous loop of despair. No matter what I do, I am unable to boot to windows or make the BIOS. Help, please.

I was able to create a repair USB flash drive with which I was able to reset the computer and I'm now restore the status in which he was before the message "Unhandled Thread Exception system" appeared.

  • HP ENVY 700-059c: 10 Windows cannot set up a homegroup on this computer

The message I get when I try to put in place a homegroup on this computer is "Windows cannot configure a homegroup on this computer". I tried everything that was suggested on troubleshooting of the forums that I searched the web on this problem but without success. I am trying to create a network with your computer and a Dell 64 bit of Windws 10 laptop.
Two computers on the same workgroup and I can set up a homegroup on the Dell, but when I try to join the homegroup on the HP I get the same error message. It has been suggested that I have delete the Group residential Dell and put in place a new homegroup on the HP, but HP won't let me set up a new group of residential. Where am I wrong?

As I said in my last post, I had no chance to get all of my network to the top, but after going through the fixes proposed by WAWood I realized that fixation on the establishment of a group residential wasn't getting me anywhere. I decided to search the web forums for a solution for the operation of "Peer Networking Grouping" of service, something I had not been able to do (strangely enough by clicking on the button 'Start' a billion times has absolutely nothing) since this mess began. Here are the procedures that seemed most likely to have success. First test was to change the registry using a suggestion of:

    http://www.tenforums.com/network-sharing/9691-computer-can-not-join-create-HomeGroup.html

Modify the key to register IPv6 to enable IPV6
    ==========================
    a. Click Start, type regedit in the search bar and then click regedit in the list programs.
Note: If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.
    b. look for, and then click the following registry subkey:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\TCPIP6\Parameters
    c. check whether the "DisabledComponents" registry key exists. If so, move on the next steps.
    d. double-click "DisabledComponents" registry key and change the value to 0.
(If the key does not exist, please create the above key and assign a value of 0)
    e. exit the registry editor and then restart the computer.

So far no change. On the next dose of:

    http://blogs.technet.com/b/Win7/archive/2011/02/16/quot-peer-name-resolution-protocol-quot-service-could-not-be-started-and-HomeGroup-is-not-working.aspx

    1. from the high CMD prompt, type the following command:

    net stop p2pimsvc /y

    2 delete the following file:

    'C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Roaming\PeerNetworking\idstore.sst '.

    3. restart the computer.

These two patches, apparently has not changed anything, but when I went back to Services and double clicked on grouping network of peers, and then clicked on the 'Connect' tab I found that the "Local System account" is selected and the box "Allow service to interact with desktop" was checked. Since I knew my many visits in this tab that it wasn't the way it was configured initially, I checked the properties of the service directly under it (Peer Networking Identity Manager) the tab 'Connect' showed that this account has been selected, and the term "Local Service" was in the right text box to the right of this account. In the two boxes just below this text box were two boxes labeled password and confirm password boxes contained 14 points. I decided it looked a lot like what I remember that the log on tab of the properties of "Peer Networking Grouping" dialog box has been initially configured. I returned to the journal of Peer Networking Grouping tab and made properties the following steps.

Chose "This account" and deselect "Local System account".

"Local Service" text typed into the text box next to "this account".

Delete all the points in the 'Password' and 'Confirm password' boxes

    Clicked on apply

Clicked on the tab general and click the button start (Yay he actually started)

    Restarted the computer

From there on, I was able to set up a homegroup, and then I was able to reach him this homegroup on my laptop connected wireless and viola, I have a network.

Thanks to WAWood for set me on the path to try to get the 'Peer Networking Grouping' service running as my ultimate goal.

  • Want to 700-329: how to switch from windows 8.1 for al profession windows 7 on Envy 700-329

I'm fed up with the problems resulting from Windows 8.1, for example the program incompatibility, Slow / no response in browsers, particularly IE 11, forced to use touchscreen interface style on conventional monitor and so on and so forth. I have a license of Windows 7 Professional 64 bit for my Dell Vostro laptop. Can I use it on my HP Envy Office 700-329 to replace Windows 8.1?

    Hello:

It is forbidden to transfer the license OEM of Windows or using product key OEM the Dell laptop on HP desktop computer.

Please read the FAQ below... specifically...

    Q. my client bought a new PC and wants to move the OEM software from the old PC to the new. Users cannot do what they want with their software?

    A. no, the OEM software is licensed with the computer on which it was originally installed and system is linked to the original machine. OEM licenses are licenses for single use which cannot be installed on more than one computer system, even if the original machine is no longer in use. The 3668Microsoft Software License Terms, that the end user must accept before using the software, say that the license may not be shared, transferred or used concurrently on different computers. System integrators must provide support to the end user for the Windows license on build computers, they cannot support licenses on computers that they did not build. It is a fundamental reason why an OEM System Builder license cannot be transferred.

If you want to buy a license support and installation of W7, you can use the W7 x 74 drivers and the software of this model on your own, except the BIOS and firmware files.

How what might happen on a HP Envy 700-230qe with 32 GB memory DDR3?

I understand that you are having problems with the rendering of a video with Sony Vegas Pro 13. I suggest you only look to the Vegas Pro - vidéo as it appears there are settings in the software that should help you. • Envy 700-215xt Broadcom bluetooth driver Win 8.1

    Hello!

My new HP Envy 700 - 215xt came with Win 7 Home and I've updated to 8.1 Pro Win.  In control compatibility before the upgrade, the software said that the bluetooth device driver was not compatible with Win 8 and forced me to uninstall it, I did.

Now everything has been migrated and works fine, except for the part of Broadcom wireless adapter bluetooth.  The WiFi worked very well.  In Device Manager, I see the card wifi Broadcoom BCM43142 under the heading, network cards and I see a BCM43142A0 listed in the other peripheral topic, and it shows that there is no driver installed for him.  Try to uninstall/reinstall, it is nothing and a Windows search for a driver comes empty also.

I downloaded and tried to install sp64557 from the support page, and it gave me the error "your system does not meet the minimum requirements for this update.  Update cancelled. »

It is not a show stopper if I can't use bluetooth (at least not right away), but is there a procedure that I am missing to get this device works, or a driver available to support this device in Win 8.1?

    Thank you!

    Update of the United Nations:

After doing more research on the forum, I came across an article related to your laptop with the same problem, and just for grins, I downloaded and installed sp66144.

I followed the instructions and have produced a bootable USB and I checked this on a work dell computer where there is an option for me to boot from my USB if I so wish, but on my HP ENVY any options choose it does not appear with my USB in question and when I try to change the boot sequence making sure the usb/floppy and drive hard usb is above the rest of the sequencers starting it always starts just to the top as usual to my windows boot 10. I've disabled secure boot and used the boot of the legacy and it still does not work.

I went through all the options I can that seem to be logic and it just does not work. I don't understand and I have to start using a usb key that I use the operating system can be very dangerous in a real environment, so it can not be downloaded to the hard drive.

I do not understand these messages.  Here is the download page for software and driver for the computer.  As you can see, all the drivers for win 8.1 are listed.  They would not list them as much as they have not been tested.  I see no reason not to do the update.

  • Satellite Pro L630-L14 - the unhandled exception message

I'm no expert, but I was hoping that someone could tell me how to get rid of / fix an error message thatI do me whenever I put on. The unhandled exception, said "access to PathC:\ProgrammeData\ToshibaEurope|. Registration\se fittings xml is denied. "

I had a Trojan horse affecting this laptop two weeks ago and he (or hidden) wiping most of the material I had on this machine.
Thanks I've got it running again, but this unhandled exception appears every time so I have to type Quit or he keeps coming back.

I have no idea how to fix this problem. I checked everything and so has my son, remotely and this morning I ran MalwareBytes and allowed the two files, but I still get the message unhandled exception.
It's annoying because I don't know if I need to have access to this road. If someone can tell me how do I cure this I would be grateful, but please keep in mind, I'm just a user with limited experience. It's a Satellite Pro L630-L14 and I got just TWO MONTHS! stevmk2

    Hello

I think the problem is the Trojan horse you had. It was probably something has changed on the access to the files/folders. If you can t remove the Trojan with Antivirus software, you must reinstall the whole operating system. Therefore, you can use the recovery disk as described here:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/HTD9102IR0000R01.htm

    > I got it just TWO MONTHS!
Who makes no difference, how is the laptop. This viral infection can happen after a few days and it s depending on your antivirus software you use, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the brand of laptop.

  • HP Envy 700-229C: what graphics cards are compatible with the HP Envy 700-229C?

Hello, I was looking for a graphics card for my HP Envy 700-229C computer but I don't know that his are compatible.

    @kabirvirdee, welcome to the forum.

Any video card which is PCI Express 3.0 x 16 will work with your computer.  The video slot is a PCI Express x 16 (Gen 3.0).  You must ensure that the card insert in the space provided.  This can be done by measuring the back plate of e/s in front of the computer.  Also, you should check the power of the power supply unit (PSU) that is required.  The power supply of your computer is 460W.  The power supply must have at least more than the card requires 100W.  I love EVGA cards.  If you decide to buy one of their cards, you can contact their Technical Support (1-888-881-3842) to help choose the best card for your system.
