I'm a casual player and would like to know a properly Grahics card that is compatible with this system.

    Thank you very much!

LOWapproach, welcome to the forum.

Here is a card that should work for you.  He argues that a 300W power supply unit (PSU) or better is necessary to function properly.  The power supply of your computer is 300W.  Many members have said actually to 400W.  You can try and buy a more powerful POWER supply if necessary.  Most newer cards require at least 400W.

I am to buy HP Envy 750-114 and upgrade with a graphics card.  The one I found is low power, so it will be fine with the 300 watt power supply that comes with 750-114 envy.

The problem is I want to order the video card for a refund until the PC (the refund will expire until the PC is delivered).

The 750-114 envy will accept a card of video of the form factor ATX size 7,76 "(L) x 5" (H)?

  • H8 - 1000 in.: h8 - 1000 in the list of compatible graphics cards

I would like to know/have a list of compatible graphics cards for H8 - 1000 in. currently, I have the GT 420 and I can't seem to find any compatible graphics card.i don't mind the upgrade of the power unit to adapt new graphics cards that require more power.

The factory system specs are impressive except the graphic card that can't handle new games.

Please advice. IM desperate for money on a new upgrade system and no waste.

    Hello

HP OEM graphics cards are made by different manufacturers to HP specifications.

If you want to try the new graphics cards and then contact the manufacturer and ask about compatibility with your specific motherboard and if the graphic card has a hybrid BIOS. (two issues)

Not all models of the NVIDIA GTX 750 will take place in every PC.  The NVIDIA GTX 750 is a highly rated graphics card. Others come with a switch to toggle between UEFI and legacy mode and then some might claim to have a hybrid of video BIOS and some claim compatibility to PCI-E 1.1.

The reality is that there is no guarantee that any particular graphics card will work in any particular PC, even if the graphics card works in other PC or even the same or similar model PCs. Know what the return policy is before you buy.

A little-known secret MSI is that if the box is "stickers" with a logo of Windows 8 then the graphics card was supposedly a BIOS hybrid.

  • P7-1245 (QW762AA): list compatible graphics cards for p7-1245 (IPISB-CU)?

I bought a ZOTAC GeForce GTX 760 for my p7-1245 with a card mother IPISB-CU. Product specifications say that the motherboard supports PCI-E x 16 video cards. I also bought a 725w diet to accommodate the new video card.

After installation, the computer hangs on the splash screen for HP. I can't even in the setting menus.

After replacing the card with the original AMD Radeon HD 7450 everything worked again.

I did some research and discovered many similar problems when people try to replace or improve the graphics cards in their HP desktops. Recommendations including the update of the bios, etc. seem to be ineffective for others, with the possible conclusion is the incompatibility of the Council itself, with the graphics card.

Maybe the card I bought requires a newer generation PCI slot and is not backward compatible?

Is there a list of compatible graphics cards for the card mother IPISB-CU?

    Thanks for any help.

    Hello

The list of the HP OEM below graphics cards should work in your PC.

First, ask yourself "is there something better than that, which corresponds to and is not low profile?  No, because there ONLY cards that will fit must be small footprint!

Second, 7750 HD cards are often recommended as a good choice for the Dells - unique slot and low power requirements.  I am running a 7750 HD in my own 780 MT, having chosen as the best choice for fit and performance.  That said, your power supply of the SFF is only 235W, which is very marginal.  I've seen reports of others by means of this type of card in a 780 SFF, but you should make sure, that it is not overtax the power, depending on what you have in your computer.

  • Desktop HP Envy 750-114: do I need a new monitor or graphics card?

I have a HP Envy Office 750-114 and a HP. V242h color monitor, etc. on the monitor are flat, dull and almost gray. It has been like that since we have the computer about a year ago. I've tweaked the contrast, etc., on the screen and it's a little better, but still not very good.

So, is it a new graphics card for the computer, or a new monitor? I'm afraid that if I buy a new monitor, it'll be the same, dull and flat.

If a new graphics card is required, which would be a good thing, and I need a new power supply?

My son loves to make games, one that is good for the games would be better.

    Thanks in advance!

I did experiment a bit and partially answered my own question. I removed the monitor in question (HP V242h) and hooked it to another computer. What a world of difference! So I don't think it's the monitor, but the graphics card.

If a modified question: what would be a good graphics card for my HP Envy Office 750-114? One that enhances the display and provides the best game? Also, would need a new power supply?

    Thanks again in advance!

  • HP Envy 750-114: replacing a graphics card and opening upward

Ok. I'm already sorely regretting the purchase of any computer with a graphics card intel. I wish never to see another computer of graphics cards intel. I've got people who can advise me (somewhat) about how we replace these things. But still, in my ignorance, know that the first requirement is to open the machine. They wanted me to take a picture of the inside to give a sense of my options.

Only I can't the infernal thing open. I see what looks like should be an easy thing of twisty open, but no other screws that look like they open on one side. However, the twisty thing is totally impossible to twist. Nothing I have is able to open it.

Someone please tell me how to open this thing! There must be a way that does not require a hammer. What I want is a graphics card that works - I can't even this one to play older games (and it is for most everything I play, except star wars the old Republic.) And the last driver update that has even beaten!) The graphics card intel cheap is literally the only thing stopping me. It meets all the other requirements. But I can't yet figure out how to get the thing open so that people can give me advice on what I can replace it with.

    Help, please.

I think that there is a hole in the nut as you try to turn.  In fact, you can insert the right Torx screwdriver and turn it to the left side.  This should allow you to open the case.  At least what I had to do to open the suitcase on my new HP Phoenix.  I have to admit that it was not easy to do, however.

  • HP Envy 700-229C: what graphics cards are compatible with the HP Envy 700-229C?

Hello, I was looking for a graphics card for my HP Envy 700-229C computer but I don't know that his are compatible.

    @kabirvirdee, welcome to the forum.

Any video card which is PCI Express 3.0 x 16 will work with your computer.  The video slot is a PCI Express x 16 (Gen 3.0).  You must ensure that the card insert in the space provided.  This can be done by measuring the back plate of e/s in front of the computer.  Also, you should check the power of the power supply unit (PSU) that is required.  The power supply of your computer is 460W.  The power supply must have at least more than the card requires 100W.  I love EVGA cards.  If you decide to buy one of their cards, you can contact their Technical Support (1-888-881-3842) to help choose the best card for your system.

  • looking for a HP Pavilion p7-1045-compatible graphics card

Hello, is there good compatible with my HP Pavilion p7-1045 graphics cards? last time I installed a graphics card (which was a 750 GTX), the computer freezes at the blue HP screen and starts to beep 5 times only and turns off. power was not a problem, since I managed has replaced my power of 250w with a 600w.

then there all graphics cards right? my budget is about $150 (in Canadian dollars). Thanks in advance

You are right.  The VBIOS hybrid will work with a standard BIOS and UEFI.  However, the length of the card is 9.84 ".  I am not sure that it will not go in the space provided with good air circulation.  You can make a model of the size of the card to see if it will fit.  I would like to apprceciate hear the result.

  • HP envy 14k011tu: to upgrade graphics card

My laptop is Hp Envy 14k011tu. It has a graphics 4400u graphics card intel which is quite bad for the games. I wanted to upgrade. Then someone can suggest som egud graphics cards under $ 100.

    Concerning

    Mehul_Mishra

Sorry, but you operate in a misunderstanding.  Your PC is a laptop computer and, unlike desktop computers, it uses no graphics "cards".

Instead, it uses graphics 'modules' - and what makes these different, is that they involve the graphics chip is soldered to the system board.  This means that you will need to disassemble the entire PC to replace the motherboard just to change the graphics chip.

This would have to do to an HP Service Center - which means that it will cost you easily several hundred dollars, maybe more replacement laptop in its entirety!

I'm relatively unknowledgable on the compatabilities of these cards and how they work, but I want to know if its possible to replace the card for a more powerful version.

    Hello

Unfortunately, you can not. Except for the preinstalled class and some gaming machines, we cannot upgrade graphics card on a normal laptop.

  • Are on the Satellite DirectX 9 compatible graphics cards?

I think with the purchase of a satellite, but would like to know if it is graphics cards with which they come are directX 9 compatible I have mounted him and the program I video requires that.

As far as I know each laptop with Windows XP Home edition is preinstalled with DirectX9. Video editing is generally not a problem, and you can do with each unit. In my opinion important is how the unit is powerful because of the procedure of decoding complex if you want to create own DVD.

I did it with Qosmio G20 without any problem.
