• ABBYY 9.0 Sprint - safe or a part of the virus that seems to be eating my files?

  I continued to get guests to download an audio file from an unknown source today, so I just kept close the box. Then, the computer froze and when I rebooted I found that the programs are not open as they usually - slow and brilliance.

  I took the computer to this morning here and then all of my documents and folders disappeared! Great huh? It is the solution that can assure you it will not affect documents or records...

  I undid then restore but still no record - actually, one or both who survived have disappeared. Now I get a message prompt to download ABBYY Sprint 9 and boxes pop up saying that I "errors critical hard drive"...

  Any ideas or is it out of the Geek Squad in the morning?

  Remove the black print cartridge and keep only the color cartridge to verify the message. Now remove the color cartridge and only insert the black cartridge in and check the message. This should give an idea on what cartridge has a problem.

  I HAVE WINDOWS XP BUT I TRIED WITH VISTA ALSO AND NOTHING happened.

  I called HP because I was really frustrated and tired and have no guarantee. I was told that this isn´t a cartridge problem, it is a technical problem of the printer itself. they have a sensor to detect each cartridge and that the sensor has failed. So I need to replace the part or just buy a new.
