To start from the cd tried to change bios to disable secure boot and enable legacy startup.  Could not get the pc to boot once so reset cmos by shorting the pins on the mboard.  Now to start always get 6 beeps and black screen, but after a minute, windows login screen lights up and it works fine.  Unable to access the bios Setup screen any key used at startup.  6 beeps indicates a video card problem, but no material error in device mgr points.  Want to update to Win 10, but unsure about do to address this problem starting.  Appreciate any help.

  Im trying to revive my imac 27 ". just put a new hard drive in it, im trying to boot from a copy of Mac OS x on a flash drive.

  but my problem is I have over my original keyboard, I just got a temporary Microsoft wired keyboard, although I realize now that it does not recognize. which means I can't access Boot Manager

  is there another way I can get this operating system on this machine.

  Shutterfly and Adobe have recently agreed to remove the print service to Shutterfly who has been integrated into Photoshop Elements. Therefore, options related to the order of prints by Shutterfly are no longer available in Photoshop Elements.

  You can control and manage permissions for the domain in the tab currently selected through these steps:

  I have a 2002 version of Windows XP. I'm not sure how to access the "replace" option in Notepad. (I think) I don't have office because I can't afford it. But I'm in the middle of editing a document on my email account, (live) and I am typing on the next word. It is originally a mess, instead of an essay due tomorrow. I'm not used to Notepad. I was in school and working on office 2007, 2010. So if access to the option "check spelling" comes to mind, I would be grateful this answer too. It is certainly not F7 on my computer.

  Using wordpad. Then press insert to overtype mode / press again to return to normal. I don't think that the notebook has the opportunity. Think either is not a spell checker. There are freeware alternatives, that would probably do a better job than one of them. And it will have more features

  It is an alternative (and free) and can use a spell checker (you need to download it). And also has a mode to overwrite (insert press to do)

• Can't access language option "Add" via the control panel - > regional options and lang.

  Cannot access language 'Add' option via Control Panel-> regional control and options. lang-> keyboards and languages-> text services and input languages. When I click on 'Add', the language menu appears, but I can't take anything as the OK button is inactive. And I know I could do it before because I already added another language to my keyboard. Could you please help me?

  Please continue with the steps below...

  1. click on start, type intl.cpl in the start search box and press ENTER.

  2. on the keyboard and language tab, click on change keyboards.

  3. click on Add.

  4 expand the language that you want. For example, English (United States).

  5 expand the keyboard list, select the United States-International checkbox and then click OK.

  6. in the default input language list, click the language name - United States-International (where language name is the language that you selected in step 4) and then click OK twice.

  7. in the regional and Language Options dialog box, click OK.

  Notice that the language bar appears on the taskbar. When you position the mouse pointer, a ToolTip appears that describes the active keyboard layout.

  8. click on the language bar and then click States United International on the shortcut menu that appears.

  United International keyboard layout is selected.

• I can't access my options more in every night

  Since the last update, I can't use my mouse to change the options in every night more. I get a screen on which I can't click on the items and need to use the Tab key to try to change anything. This means that I can't delete individual cookies since tab ignore this link.

  If I can't clear cookies that I can't use it every night or Firefox

• Can't access the option full screen

  I tried to fix it myself.  I can access is no longer a mode full-screen.  Once I'm in full screen for a split second I and then the screen goes into colored pixels.  No picture.  I think it might have something to do with the VIA Chrome 9HC IGP Windows Display Driver Vista family because before I would get these small yellow files on my bottom bar.  My Control Panel tells me that it is there, but I wonder if it does not work properly.  Any help would be appreciated.  I love the full screen for videos and games.

  Firefox is stuck in fullscreen (I did not understand what it meant when I chose it.) Firefox automatically to Yahoo. I never even chose yahoo as my home page, but that's all that I can go to except through a search. I can't get into a Web site; There is no window of Firefox for this.

  I tried: stop (duh), uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox. Uninstall everything with the name of Yahoo (Yahoo messenger, toolbar, put updated)

  I uninstalled the toolbar yahoo and everything what was in his name of Yahoo. Still could not get rid of Yahoo until I took the drastic measures described above.

  There are normally 3 possible reasons of this error you have.

  1 BIOS Boot Oder set to Network Boot: BIOS settings to check the boot order.

  Check the boot sequence, if possible and make sure that HD is set to 1 in the boot order

  2. check the cable connections between the motherboard and the hard disk to ensure that they are not loose

  3. doesn't have a hard drive.

  Test the hard drive.

  Go to the website of your computer manufacturer > search your computer specifications > know brand of hard drive > access the Hard Drive manufacturer's Web site > find and download hard drive Diagnostic software and make a record of start of it on the computer that you use to get here, following their instructions > test your hard drive to see if it has failed.

• Cannot access the option of factory restore?

  Hello world. I have an old A505-S69803 that I no longer use. I have been aware of a poor student in a University nearby who profit greatly from a laptop, but cannot afford it. I want to give my Toshiba and I start cleaning off my personal data. Last step, I want to restore it to factory settings, but it does not work.

  I read everywhere on the internet that I can get here by organizing '0' during boot, but it doesn't matter. Even the manual Toshiba says to do. Is the closest I get into F8 during startup, and then selecting the Toshiba Recovery Wizard. However, it is demanding recovery media. When I bought the laptop, it was supposed to come with a recovery partition, and I did get NO media.

  How can I access the option to restore to factory since the restore partition? Thank you.

  The question is: recovery partition is still available on the HARD disk?
  Last is OS installation original Toshiba installation with factory settings?

  You can install recovery image using HARD drive recovery option if the laptop has only factory settings.
  I presume that you described in the manuals, so if you didn t such fund recovery media s is not possible to have access to recovery files you have two options:
  -install the clean version of the OS. Support page all the necessary drivers, tools and utilities that you can download at Toshiba
  -Restore disc original order from Toshiba

• HP ENVY 17-n013na: the Legacy BIOS boot option does not work

  Support dear HP team,

  I recently bought for laptop HP ENVY 17-n013na .  It came with Windows 8.1. I have to install Windows 7. Unfortunately, the legacy in BIOS boot option does not work for me. Here is detailed information:

  BIOS version: F.04 Rev 5.0

  I tried updating to the latest version of the BIOS on the Support site.

  To activate the option to boot legacy, I followed the following steps:

  • Entered, BIOS configuration utility
  • Go to the System Configuration
  • > Boot options
  • Changed the setting to the Legacy Support on " Enabled"
  • F10 - save changes & exit

  Now, after the restart, if I go once more, configuration of the BIOS Legacy Support is set to disabled. Whenever I have change to active BIOS, Save & Exit, it is up to the people with reduced mobility. Because of that I can't run the installer of Windows 7 DVD.

  Please provide any help & suggestions.
