  I was able to restore before the updates & sound returns.

  I have discussed this before and found the answer, but the problem is that he won't stay. I have a problem with the mouse pad buzzing in and out while I'm on Internet or other programs. I spent under mouse settings and disabled and even recorded profile, but whenever I have stop the laptop and turn it back on, it resets everything back to how it was where the zoom and everything. How can I permanently disable that? It gets really annoying.

  Try the following.

  Hold down the Windows key and press R

  In the run box, type regedit and press enter

  In the registry editor, navigate to the following

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Synaptics\SynTP\Install

  Inside, look for a key named DeleteUserSettingsOnUpgrade

  If it is present, right click on the key and select Edit

  Set the field data of the value 0 (zero) , and then click Ok.

  Close the registry editor.

  Make the Synaptics setting changes you need in the usual way and save them, and then check if they are now kept after a reboot.

• M7-n101dx envy: WiFi problems for m7-n101dx HO want

  Bought this cumputer 16 September 2015. Pluged in Ethernet no internet no issues at all, the WiFi, the connection is dropped randomly. Temporary solution is to diagnois the WiFi connection. Defalt gateway is not available (whatever that means) is the problem which is fixed until the next time. HP has already downloaded new drivers a couple of weeks with some improvement but not a solution. Now they want to reset my computer and start from scratch (really want to do it unless it's the only answer).

  I have an older Pavilion DV7 with Win 8, a brand new Pavillian 15-ab223cl, win 10 and a Nook Tablet all run well on WiFi. The Internet service is ATT DSL using a Neatgear Modem/Router

  I have a work around. I have an old router max Neatgear range that I have pluggeg in the Ethernet to connect to my router (Netgear model B90-755025-16) ATT. The old Netgear has not declined the internet connection WiFi or ethernet.  As the B90 worked OK on the ethernet cable to the laptop, I decided to experiment. Good results

  So my best guess is the isOK ATT Modem/Router as a Modem, not so good like a wireless router. Go figure!

  I see their latest Wireless-AC on processors Intel site is:

  Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 802.11 ac 2 x 2 WiFi + BT Combo Adapter 4.2.

  QUESTION 1: Intel lists two form for these modules WLAN, 2230 m2 and m.2 1216 factors; the one who fits the HP 15 t-ae100?

  2nd QUESTION: the 8260 Intel can be used in the HP Envy 15 t-ae100?

  QUESTION 3: what would be the advantage of the 8260 Intel on the 7265 Intel? (Says the Intel product brief for the 8260 it is designed to offer a Microsoft Windows 10 full support; but does not explain what that means.)

  Your laptop has no whitelist, then it can use any adapter wifi with the correct form factor and the number of antennas. The form of factors are slightly different for me, but it is difficult to say may be the angle of the image. I would stick with one of the 2 specified cards compatible with your system.

  I am installing an SSD on a new HP Envy 17 "(m7-n101dx)."

  I can't find this laptop service manuals that provide instructions on replacing the hard drive.

  It is regrettable that the laptop does not seem to have a service on the bottom panel.  It seems that the merits of the case must be removed.

  Does anyone know of a manual that provides instructions on how to replace the hard drive for this model?

  I just installed my last generation 840 EVO in a new m7-n101dx DESIRE and it was much more complicated than what I am used to with the quality of HP consumer laptops.  HP no longer makes it easily accessible to replace memory, hard drives, etc.

  #1 solution:

  Return the ENVY and buy a real enterprise-class laptop.

  #2 solution:

  (The set is pretty flimsy and cheap.  Proceed with caution).

  Remove each screw at the bottom of the laptop as well as all the screws black of the battery compartment.  Remove the optical drive, then unscrew the two matte black screws located at the edge of the optical drive Bay.  Release GENTLY the shell all bottom of laptop computer half body superior (keyboard surface) of the laptop.  It is easier to start from the leading edge and aim the rear corners by the hinges of the screen.  Once you separate the halves of the laptop, all components become available.  The HARD drive is connected to the motherboard with a Ribbon connector.  If you can disconnect carefully end SATA drive HARD with this that soft limited there, there's no need to mess with the end of the ribbon cable.

  I am looking for a drive caddy for my laptop.  But the model numbers seem to be different than what I have.  I have the model

  M7-n101dx product M1W07UA #ABA.  But when I search a drive caddy I get different numbers.

  For example amazon comes up with

  HP Envy 17, 17t, m7 (- J000, - Jxxx series)

  What is J000 or Jxxx?  It is said m7 but is this correct?

  If you are looking for a shopping cart add a second HDD, I don't think your laptop is an internal drive Bay Second - the only option would be to install another HARD drive in the optical drive Bay using an adapter as in the example on the following link.

  I just bought a HP Envy 5640 printer.

  It works very well, but every time I have to print a photo in Photo 1.0.1 NICU OS X 10.10.5, Photos will be leaving after that print is sent to the printer.

  The photo prints fine, but needs pictures to be restarted every time.

  Does anyone have the same problem?

  I've not seen posted here - but since you are more than a year behind in updates, bug fixes and new features, you can see a verry old bug that has been fixed many years ago for people who follow to this day - unless he ia a clue right for you m = not updated I suggest you backup and update of OS X Sierra = and Photos 2.0 - this never can solve your problem

  ENVY 15, 10 Windows version 1607

  CPU cycles was about 50% this morning and discovered that the HP Support Solutions Framework service was 40 + % permanently.   No problems so far with high utility usage.  Problem started not with the update of the birthday that was filled with 4 days and there are several reboots.

  At a chat session with HP support, but they couldn't help.

  I stopped running - task seems to restart every time I run the HP support assistant and continues with + 40% of CPU usage.

  Any suggestions please?   Y at - it an update utility that I have to download?

  Following our normal wireless troubleshooting tool is the best way to solve almost all of the cases, but with this specific model with the AMD processor jump directly to make sure that update BIOS F.06 or most recent would be necessary.

  2. Click the Device Manager link at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Open "printers".
  4. Then uninstall/remove the "unknown device" if present.
  5. Restart Windows 10 update.
