  I use hp G42 370TU notebook pc, operating system windows 7 (32). A few days back, my headset & speaker option missing only digital out after staring windows. Speaker option & its available after restarting the laptop for several times. After this problem I download & installed the audio driver of hp. But this problem is not solved. Last updated antivirus software is installed on my laptop. I tried reinstalling windows.sound appear after restarting the laptop of seveal times .but once again, he ran out of closing down or sleep or hibernet. I installed latest & old realtec audio driver available for this laptop.but after the beginning of the digital output only windows & the audio driver is missing also. At that time the troubleshooting of microsoft shows no devices speakers or headphones is not connected.please tell me about the probable solution for this problem.

  Troubleshooting a result normally means that the LCD needs to be replaced. This also happen when starting the laptop?

  Is your laptop still in the period of one year standard warranty?

  After that my HP G42-415DX crashed, MS local office HAD to do a clean Windows 10 (home) install. Although I am running, but my screen is shorty and problems with the audio drivers.

  Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the problem you face is that Microsoft provides only pilots with the most basic features and what you really need for these features is the specialized drivers written for the specific in your HP PC hardware - and unfortunately, there is no driver HP Win10 for your PC. HP only guarantees the compatibility of Win10 for machines manufactured after August 2013. HP is not no matter what timetable indicating when, or IF, they will produce drivers for older machines.
  
  This means that your PC is probably NEVER going to be fully functional under Win10 because the drivers he needs for these features simply do not exist!

• Problem with my Hp G42

  Hi, I have a HP G42, processor i5 and 4 GB of RAM.

  I was faced with these 2 problems lately and I would like to know if there is anything I can do to solve it.

  1. the laptop like computer souds a turbojet is will take off ~ surprisinbly force.

  When I pressed the power button, the sounds of the spinning fan like her will broke his axel began. even without any program or software running.

  is has been a concern for me because I can't always ignore the sound, because most of the time I need to study in the library and sounds is a little worrying not only for me but also for the people in the room.

  2. just keep on thermal shutdown down, even I just watch youtube.

  as I said, it thermal closed clean, but after that I realize that it is overheating, so I broughted a metal framed cooler pad (think it is useful because it is manufactured in aluminium, head out quicker). but it turns out that, no effect at all. the heat-ing judgment becomes more common.

  I looked through the internet for the solution to this, and I know that I am not alone in these problems. I would like to know if there is some official way (they way provided by experts of the manufacturer) to solve this problem? as I'm already starting to lose faith in the laptop.

  I see your laptop is loud and has a problem of automatic closing.  This is usually an indication that the fan may need to be replaced or needs to be cleaned.

  Here is a link to an overheating and Auto Shutdown Troubleshooting questions to help you determine the cause.

  My PC # is G42-490TU, product model # LR783PA #ACJ, processor - Intel Core (TM) i3 CPU M370.

  RAM: 2.00 GB (1.86 GB usable), System Type: 32-bit operating system.

  My PC is running very slowly lately. It crashes, freezes, pages become insensitive and therefore, it takes a lot of time typing. I use every day for work so, I want to solve this problem as soon as possible.

  I would like to increase his speed to be able to work smoothly every day. Want PC to run fast.

  I have a laptop HP, model G42-303DX, running Windows 7.

  When Windows tries to start, it displays the message: Windows Error Recovery / cannot start Windows.

  Then StartUpRepair launches and research about a minute for the problems.  Then it displays the message "Startup Repair cannot fix automatically.  I gave options: (1) sending info (can not since I can't it connect to the Internet) or (2) not to send (should I select).

  I click on Details of the issue and see the following:

  I tried to do five different restorations, starting with the most recent restore point and working up.  All restore attempts failed.  In 3 of 5 attempts, I got the error code: 0x800700b7.  And in 2 of 5 attempts was the failure code: 0x8000ffff.

  I created a bootable (Kaspersky Rescue v10) DVD rescue disk and run a deep scan of 4 hours to check the virus, Trojans, etc, and it found nothing.

  When this laptop was purchased from Best Buys, we have not all discs.  I'm sorry to say that we did not create recovery disc.  I checked on the HP support site to order a set of recovery discs and can be found only for Windows 7 in the 64-bit version.  I don't know if this PC has been configured as a 32-bit or 64-bit machine.

  In addition, I use the Recovery Manager to create DVDs from backup files on that PC.  This problem started in December, and according to my daughter-in-law (the only user of that PC), it gave him no problems until this.

  I would REALLY appreciate any help on this... I'm a little at my wits end.

  If you press F11 at startup, then it will take you to HP Recovery... .but recovery will reset the computer to factory
