Hello, I want to k now can I put my laptop (Pavilion 15-n201ax) gpu and ram? Thanks in advance!

Number on the GPU. You already have the top of the page mother/processor board and there is no way to add or replace it with a better graphics in any system. On memory, you have 8 GB. This is the Manual:

    Link repair manuals

Officially, the maximum is 12 concerts but here users have reported success with 16. You do not have an easily accessible memory Bay and you should have an open memory slot to add a SO-DIMM DDR3L-1600 to upgrade memory. I seriously doubt you will see much of a difference, but I have 16 gigs in my laptop then I say, go ahead.

  • HP Pavilion x 360 13-s120nr: RAM upgrade

I was just wondering if I would be able to update my ram 8 GB instead of 4 GB that I already installed on my HP Pavilion x 360 13 - s120nr. My memory under the specification of this laptop says 4 GB of SDRAM DDR3L with only one slot, but I'm not a hundred percent sure what it means. I would really appreciate the help, thanks.

    Hello

This means that to achieve the 8 GB is the maximum, you must remove the 4 GB module and install a compatible 8 GB.

  • HP pavilion n242se 15: 16 GB RAM upgrade

    Hello

    I have a hp pavilion 15 n242se with 8 GB of RAM
I want to move to 16 GB of RAM
    Can you help me please?

I don't know what is the best type of RAM on my device.

See page 42 of the manual here:

    Manual

The specs say your laptop came with 4 gigs, how should it now 8? It has two slots and the manual says it can take 12 concerts, a 4 GB and 8 GB module to the module, but we found here that 16 gigs, or 2 x 8. What you need to make sure of depends on what you already have. If you have a single module of 8 GB, I'll try to find the same.  If you have 2 x 4 GB, you will need to replace them anyway and this is the memory 8 GB module specified:

Module memory 8 GB PC3L 12800 1600 Mhz Shared 693374-001 for which would not compatible:

    https://www.Amazon.com/Kingston-Technology-1600MHz-PC3-12800-KVR16LS11/DP/B00CQ35HBQ/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&QID=1474205655&SR=8-3&keywords=693374-001

One thing I'll add is that many computers users are disappointed with the 8 GB for 16 gig upgrade. 8 GB is a lot of memory and you can't even use the 8 concerts together so that the upgrade will have very little effect on performance. But in your case, the upgrade is easy to do and if you want to upgrade is your call. Post back if you have any other questions.

  • Pavilion 15z p000 Beats Audio - RAM upgrade

I have a HP Pavilion 15z p000 with Beats Audio running Windows 8.1.  I want to upgrade the memory (RAM), but I do not see the access panels on the underside of the laptop which would make it easy to change memory cards.   I did find diagrams or instructions in the user manual, and I found no help on internet videos.  I'm pretty handy with computers and upgrading equipment, so I'm not afraid to take things apart and put them back together.  But I would like to get advice and instructions on this before I try to go in 'blind '.  Thank you!

    Here is a nice tutorial.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c04324972

I think that is to make the memory, you need to take the new step in the removal of the motherboard (not shown here). I think that your maximum memory is 8 GB and you can have only one slot.

  • Pavilion dm1-3210us Notebook PC - RAM upgrade

I have a Pavilion dm1-3210us laptop and want to upgrade the memory.  It came with 3 GB (a 2 GB and a 1 GB memory modules).  Can I replace the 1 GB with a 4 GB or which will cause problems?  I'm running Windows 7 64 bit and my manual says the laptop will have up to 8 GB of RAM.  Thanks for your help.  .. .and where the best place to buy at a decent price?

    Hello

To ensure that you get any compatibility issues, it is usually best to install corresponding Modules - see the link below for a 2 x 4 GB kit.

  • Pavilion dv7t - 6 c 00: RAM upgrade will BSOD

I bought this computer a few years knowing at the time that I could have upgraded to 16 GB of RAM. Yesterday, I replaced a hard drive in another HP with anticipation of upgrading the RAM, only to discover that it was already contributed the most. I see nothing for mine that says I would have problems (chipset, proc, ram speed, etc.). I had some PNY sodimm ddr3-10666. I know it's a superior to 10600 clock speed, which is what came installed, but everything I read (including the packaging that the new ram came) States, the system will be just to the low clock at 1333 mhz. I got about 2 hours of use today before a BSOD, so I stopped and considered as to remove the new RAM. I swapped the sticks in the measure of the placement of mobo (I can't find anything that says it's really important for this model), but still have the same question. I can sit on the login screen of windows, but as soon as I connect and start something, I get another BSOD. Is there something I forgot, or the system hate this memory?

It's the memory that you want; That is to say a pair of these 8 GB modules for a total of 16 concerts:

Module memory 8 GB for use only with the computer models equipped with an Intel processor (10600, DDR3 1333 MHz) 634091-001

Mr. Kingston, it's selling as a compatible module:

    http://www.Amazon.com/Kingston-Technology-notebooks-KTH-X3B-8g/DP/B007BPOHLK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&QID=1458140846&SR=8-1&keywords=634091-001

It is the memory low density of 1.5 volt. You can link us to the specifications of the memory you have installed? I saw also known as PC3-10600 and sometimes PC3-10666 DDR3. Memory speed is indicated two ways... the DDR3-1333 says it runs at 1333 'calls' per second or data rate double to 667 "turns" or cycles per second. PC3-10600 talking bandwidth... how much data can pass through per second.

So yes, it is I suppose that you have installed incompatible memory. It is not as easy as before.

  • Pavilion dv7-2050sm: SSD and RAM upgrade questions

    Hello

I have two question about upgrading my laptop. I use it for web surfing, movies, some excellent/word work etc... for the most part on a regular basis.

    (1) I have seen that my RAM can be upgraded to 8 GB. Currently, I am working at 1333 MHz 4RAM. If I buy 2 x 4 GB 1600 MHz will it work on this laptop, I went into the BIOS and have not seen that I can change the speed of ram anywhere nor has seen how much can this support for portable computers, so should I buy 1x4Go 1333 MHz instead if it only supports 1600 MHz.

    (2) can I put my disk HARD 700 GB Seagate 5400 RPM SATA II 3.0 Gbps with Samsung 850EVO 250 GB SSD? I know that SATA III drives are retro-compatible meaning can work on SATA II but is it useful, how much speed will I use if my laptop does not support SATA III.

    Laptop computer product number: B4E42EA

    Chipset: AMD A70M FCH

    CPU: Improved A6 4460 M to 4600 M A10

    Thank you!

It will not run at 1600 mhz just so buy another 4 GB of DDR3-1333 memory. The SSD is the best upgrade you can do. Certainly worth. SSD SATA-III will work fine on a SATA-II bus. There is very little difference in actual operation.

  • HP Pavilion Notebook 15-e020eo: Max ram upgrade

    Hello

Tried to use online support, but her dosent SeasonFive react after that I chose my labtop on the screen, it does not find my labtop but no info from HP...

And there is no other way to contact HP, not so good...

But I wanne have ram max in my labtop, now there are 2 x 4 GB (8 GB total)

I can't, and pehaps faster ram at?

    Tommy

    According to the Manual:

    Repair manuals

8 GB is the maximum. I am skeptical. The material is the same as other laptops that can take 16 concerts. Unfortunately, unless you have access to modules of 2 x 8 gig memory to laptop DDR3L-1600 for free, it would be a terribly expensive experience. The memory is easily accessible behind a service Panel, as shown on page 53. You may not use any speed faster than the DDR3-1600.

Frankly 8 GB's penty of memory and even if you can switch to 16 you won't see an improvement in the operating speed. If you must run multiple virtual machines, or make you one montage video or other really demanding maybe 16 gigs of work may be justified.

For General velocity of the computer, the upgrade you want is an SSD. You can replace the hard drive with an SSD and clone all your software and programs through. Personally, I will never own a computer without one.

  • Unrecognized RAM upgrade - HP Pavilion DV9628nr

Hello! I recently updated my old Windows Vista 32-bit, HP Pavilion DV9628nr to a configuration of SDDR 2 x 1 GB for a 1 x 1 GB, 1 x 2 GB configuration, waiting for my RAM available for increase of 2 GB to 3 GB, but that's my BIOS or my system properties seem to take account of the change (I finished analyzing memory BIOS boot successfully). I did this because as I understand it, the 32-bit Windows System I'm running can recognize only 3 to 3.5 GB of RAM upgraded anyway, while I was trying to be economic. Is there a problem when you use an old 1 GB SDDR wand in a slot and a new 2 GB of SDDR stick in the other? I reinstalled the new stick in both slots, without success. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello:

It is either poorly labeled or screwed up somehow.

I would certainly return it and get another.

If the replacement does not work, try a different brand of memory, and if it does not, you have a strange problem with your PC!

  • G7-1083nr Pavilion: Pavilion g7-1083nr ram upgrade

What is the capacity of ram upgrade use for a Pavilion g7-1083nr?  Currently I have 4 GB but I want MORE!

You are the very welcome, John.

No, maximum size chip, you can put in each slot is only 4 GB.

What I mean by the 8 black chips instead of 4 bit is noted in the images below.

    8 tokens: recommended.

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16820231342

4 chips: not recommended.  May not be enough low density.

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16820161595

The Intel Mobile chipset with the processor that your model can run at 1066 MHz.

Thus, memory at 1333 MHz will be downclock at 1066 Mhz speed to match how fast the processor can run.
