HP G60-100EM Windows 7 - coprocessor

Hello

I have a laptop HP G60-100EM model, I just upgraded to Windows 7 and everything is great!

I just checked the Device Manager and there is a yellow exclamation beside coprocessor under other devices.

I guess that there are some missing or some drivers that need to be updated? Please let me know.

Thank you.

    Sorry about that...

The drivers do not say what version of bits, they are for when you go to the site.

This one has two 32 and 64 bit drivers, in order to see if it works...

Yet once, you may need to install manually if auto installation does not work.

Based on the following link, your machine does not BT:

You can use a USB - BT dongle for your laptop.

  • Can I make my HP G60 running Windows 7 64 bit?

Currently, my system has 3 GB of RAM that I know can not support 64 bit and I need at least 4 GB but is there something I can replace (as perhaps the card mother?) to make it work? I have some knowledge about the things of this question, but I hear people say that such things are not possible, but then there are people who say it's possible. I really appreciate any help, thank you!

You have it backwards. You don't need 4 GB of RAM to run 64-bit Windows; you need 64-bit Windows support more than 3 GB of RAM. We would need to know the exact model, but as far I know most if not all G60s will run 64-bit Windows. All that is needed is a 64-bit processor. If the computer has a 64-bit processor, it obviously has a card mother and chipset supporting a 64-bit processor. All AMD Turion x 2 processors are 64-bit, for example. Even some Semprons and Celeron 64-bit processors. You can install Windows 64 bit on 2 GB of RAM, as long as the processor supports. There is no reason to do so, but it can be done.

  • HP G60-535DX Windows 7 Home Premium internal Microphone Inaudible

I have problems with the internal microphone located at the top of the screen on the laptop of HP G60 PC, pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.  All OS, PC drivers and system ROM was updated to the current.

The sound it produces is at best barely audible or usually completely inaudible.  This is true when using the internal Sound Recorder app as well as when I try to use Windows Live and Skype for audio or video calls.  The fact that it has in this way by using Sound Recorder proves that this has nothing to do with firewalls or latency of the internet.  Also, I can hear and see people that I am trying to contact very well.

I first noticed the problem on a system HP G60t that I bought at hpshopping.com in early December 2009, which was a version customized and delivered to me.   I opened a case with assistance and they told me I have to ship it for repairs or I could just return it.  I returned it.

Thinking that I was just unlucky enough get a bad system, then went to Best Buy in late December 2009 and bought a second HP G60, this time above a G60-535DX, which has been configured in the same way.  Guess what?  Exactly the same problem.

I did research on these HP support forums and the comments posted at bestbuy.com for the HP G60.  It seems that a lot of people have the same exact problems.  I tried all of the suggestions I've found, including the following, but nothing changes because of the quality of the microphone on two separate HP G60 books purchased from the point of sale / inventory is extremely poor and essentially non-functional.

    1. ROM and HP drivers update
    2. Updated software Windows
    3. Uninstalled Conexant Pebble high definition SmartAudio driver in the device, and then reinstalled Manager
    4. Battery disconnected and removed, you press power for 60 seconds, winding
    5. Adjust the parameters property of the driver Conexant Pebble high definition SmartAudio, including change the Format by default, exclusive Mode and the Signal accessories settings

Someone at - it any other ideas?

What HP?  If you go to the home page of official support for the HP G60-535DX, the second ranked FAQ is titled "Don't fix no audio or audio in Windows 7", whey discuss the microphone settings.  HP monitor the number of systems having the same problem, recognize a default configuration and put a notice or a reminder?  I know I could return just this system.  But I prefer that it works.

Does anyone have this working properly?  Is it just luck of the draw?  Thanks for any ideas or suggestions, including how empower us HP for resolution.

    Hi Chesterhenlin,

    ·         How long have you been faced with this problem?

    ·         You did it all changes before the show?

Follow the steps below for a possible solution:

    Method 1:

Step 1: Start in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

Step 2: If the problem does not occur in safe mode, you can put your system to boot (in normal mode) to solve the problem.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.

Method 2: The Advanced Boot Options screen lets you start Windows in advanced troubleshooting mode. You can access the menu by turning on your computer and pressing the F8 key before Windows starts.

Starting in the advanced startup options and disable the auto reboot and capture the error message.

Prevents Windows from automatically restarting if an error of Windows to fail. Choose that this option only if Windows is stuck in a loop where Windows fails, attempts to restart, and fails again repeatedly.

    Also, check the event viewer.

  • HP G60 100em power failure during startup

My friend gave me his 'brick' HP G60 laptop 100em, had told him the motherboard was fried and it would cost a lot to fix, so he bought a new and gave it to me to see if I could fix it. Strangely, it starts on the first attempt and load of Vista, which was very slow and unable to connect to the internet wifi. However, a system restore fixed these problems. HP battery check pointed out that I need to replace the battery, and if I brought out the cable from the laptop turns off immediately. I left it overnight and now if I press the power button, it turns on for 1-3 seconds and then turns off as if she had no power at all. I tried to run without battery and reset the BIOS (by removing and re - insert the small battery) nothing works.

I had questions on this cell here before and came to the conclusion that the video was fried (it was accidentally connected to an HDMI output and not the entry) but Vista has been fully fuctional after a restoration seems to dispute the fact that. Is it possible to repair this laptop? I'm more inclined to buy a new motherboard and install it myself rather than buying a whole new laptop.

EDIT: At the start of the battery (without adapter) power button and 'on' LED lights up white and Wifi lights orange very weakly. This will remain until the laptop is off, but the display will be blank (without backlight either)

    Hello

    Ok.

Usually the manuals say to remove the CMOS battery and leave it for five minutes to clear CMOS. I'd be more inclined to leave overnight after pressing them and holding the button power (15 seconds) to drain current in CMOS eeprom chip.

You are almost at the stage ultimate make or break effort.

If clearing the CMOS rejuvenate the laptop system board then he only has value as a paperweight.

    Best regards

  • HP G60 laptop: Windows 7 to Windows 10

Now that I spent from Windows 7 to Windows 10, should I update my Qualcomm Atheros wireless driver? I am currently on version 10.0. My wireless works fine with version 10, but online it seems version 5 version 10 with 10.0.0.329 being the most recent for Windows 10. I have version 10.0.

Yes, the update of the AVG driver is actually a little more aggressive and find new drivers from the manufacturer of hardware and not only HP and Windows itself. Frankly, the proof is in the pudding. Bottom line it works. If you start getting ignored signals or if performance is lower than it used to be, I would look in the update of the driver. It is likely that filter you pretty soon anyway from Windows Update.

  • G60-530us: Windows 7 not genuine

I can't do my authentic windows because the product key on the bottom of the laptop is partly scraped. I have upgraded to windows 10 but unfortunately doesn't so I was wondering how to return to windows 7.

Unfortunately, no.... the only ways to make Windows 7 'Genuine' is to use a set of HP recovery disc or buy a new copy of Windows 7. $27 for the recovery media is going to be much cheaper then buying Windows.

  • HP G60 laptop boots HP logo, and then recycles - Windows 7

I just installed a new keyboard on my laptop G60 running Windows 7 Enterprise Edition. before putting the screws in the battery compartment area, I replaced the battery and turned on my laptop unpluggced to see if the new keyboard work. Everything worked perfectly.

So I closed the lid of my laptop, removed the battery, put the screws, replace the battery and press the power button, now my laptop boots as much as the HP logo, with the option to press ESC to the Start Menu, then the screen goes black and travels to the HP logo. This cycles goes and indefinitely. I am able to access the Start Menu. I removed the new keyboard and tried to start it again - same thing. I then tried using my old keyboard to see if that makes a difference - no change.

    Any advice? Thank you.

Hi - I tried that after I posted this question, and it turned out to be a previously installed update that was causing the problem. I had to restore my system to a previous date before the update was installed, and this has solved the problem. Thank you!

  • G60: laptop does not power off with powered usb hub attached

I have an external powered USB hub which I attach to my G60 running Windows 7 Edition Home Premium. When I try to stop the G60 with the attached hub and under tension, the shutdown sequence passes Logging Off to Shutting Down but never completely off. Power and lighting wireless turned on and the fan continues to run.

Is there a way around it except turn off the USB hub before shutdown?

    Hi @Andrew_c51 ,

I saw your post about the problems with your laptop not shutting not completely when the powered USB hub is connected. Sounds like your laptop goes into sleep or hibernation. I recommend you contact the manufacturers of USB powered to see if there is a way to stop it or just unplug the hub.
