HP G62-355DX: blocked lock HP G62-355DX battery

I have a HP G62-355DX PC and the battery will not move.  If you have the means to solve this problem, I would be really grateful.

I had this happen once. I took a knife with a thin blade and carefully worked along the edge looks a little at time until what he let go. Work slowly to avoid damaging the case and / latch. Worked for me. Good luck!

    Whenever I turn on my laptop, G62, I get a message saying that my main (internal) battery is very low and must be replaced. I did the test and he really needs to be changed. I can't know what battery I'm supposed to buy. I tried to look for the HP store, but I keep getting different results. Can someone link me to the appropriate battery? Thank you!

    Standard battery is MU06, you can usually find batteries for genuine HP discounted on Amazon or eBay by searching using MU06, beware of low batteries that are not authentic HP battery, they use cells of Lion of low quality in them and they don't last.

  • Satellite P10 - 792 lock ups / crashes and battery

    I used my P10 792 even since I bought it 3 years ago. S there was a decreasing battery box that appears on my screen (sometimes) say I should replace the badly inserted battery and restart my computer. If there is also a problem mouse touch pad. He touchpad doesn't respond well to orders while he was trying to move the pointer.

    The battery alarm message usually comes with the dysfunction of the touchpad. I have to press ESC to restore the touchpad back to normality and close the application of process Btrychkr.exe under the menu CTRL + ALT + DELETE to make the gibbous Moon box to disappear.

    But the main and most recently problem are blockages, especially when running programs that require a video grand advanced such as 3D games and DVDs. The screen freezes for several seconds, and then he comes back to life. This is sometimes followed by a sudden stop down.

    Hello

    You you use laptop for 3 years. You replace the battery during this 3 years?
    Isn't it? I think it would be a good idea to replace the battery.
    Usually after about 500 times of loading and unloading procedures the performance of the battery goes down and the life time decreases

    Additional during those 3 years, the laptop needs to be cleaned. Fans suck dirt and dust and sometimes cooling modules cannot turn with maximum performance and can not cool the CPU and other devices.
    Of course, the overheating could be a reason for your shutdown problems

    Looks like you haven t much experience so I think someone with more experience (technician) is recommended to clean the notebooks cooling modules

  • How to find who holds a SQL lock when its not v$ session.sql_id and v$ session.prev_sql_id

    Hi all

    Looking a little nudge in the right direction on a strange problem with blocking locks in our database of BSE...

    We occasionally will blocking locks in our EBS 12.1.3 database (11.2.0.4 CARS on OEL5).   I can easily determine the INST_ID select and SID that keeps the lock with this:

    Select final_blocking_instance, final_blocking_session from gv$ session where lockwait is not null;

    and can use these results to find the specific object being blocked by querying a gv$ locked_object where session_id = xxx and INST_ID select = xxx.   These sessions blocker are generally inactive to an event of "SQL * Net client message"-while they seem to be connected to the database users who need simply to commit or rollback transactions.   Usually, when I see this type of behavior, the specific application involved in the unresolved external transactions is easy to find by taking the SQL_ID (or sometimes the PREV_SQL_ID) value of gv$ session and questioning gv$ sql.  I can then use this information to better understand what users are trying to accomplish and help them understand what they need to change to avoid the deadlock problem.

    But recently, we have integrated the add-on of Oracle content management and it seems to have added (I suspect indirectly) triggers for many forms EBS our users work in.  Now that we know these "locks blocking inactive form" - and the SQL_ID value is zero and related PREV_SQL_ID sql_text is

    SELECT * FROM AXF_COMMANDS_SYN WHERE FORMID =: b1 AND (MENUTYPE = 'SPÉCIAL' MENUTYPE or = "ZOOMANDSPECIAL") AND AXF_COMMANDS_SYN. SPECIAL 'n' IS NOT NULL

    Although I can see SGS $ locked_object both the text of the SQL being run by sessions which blocked the blocking the locks held by the session is on an object (for example RA_CUSTOMER_TRX_ALL) that does not seem to be at all related to AXF_COMMANDS_SYN.   The AXF schema has been added as part of the deployment of content management.

    So, my thought is that a different cursor open (previous) held by the session is the real unresolved SQL that maintains the lock.  Is there a way to determine the SQL_ID of this query "indirectly" from gv$ locked_object / gv$ transaction, gv$ open_cursor, etc.?  I can determine what is the problem and what user, we need to talk to him - but I would really like to find the exact SQL that is involved.   I am also to establish if the new behavior is somehow contributing to locking problems blocking or just 'a Kipper"- and I think I know which statement SQL Gets the lock will help me to move forward with the investigation.  I'm sure I could find this info by tracing the blocking - session but the problem occurs rarely, and I'm not able to determine which trace session until it is too late... :-)

    Any recommendations would be appreciated, and my apologies for the long post...

    A session may issue a followed LMD of 5 requests without issuing a commit.

    Another session may be attempting a DML when the 5th request session above is running.  Querying V$ session for the first session SQL_ID or PREV_SQL_ID wouldn't you say the first SQL DML.

    You can walk backwards through V$ ACTIVE_SESSION_HISTORY (if you have the License Pack diagnosis) and determine all SQL_IDs of this first session if they did get captured in V$ ACTIVE_SESSION_HISTORY or DBA_HIST_ACTIVE_SESS_HISTORY.  (Attention: not all SQLs are captured - particularly short-lived SQLs can't get captured)

  • A shared application module create a lot of locks

    Hello world

    First of all, I don't know if I do use just to the SharedAM application level...

    We put your static data, we also store the results of some described as "static" procedure stored in a hash table and a few general indicator Boolean. Sometimes return us a set of rows according to a criterion of view, once again, we are changing the data and return an array or a vector and some time, we return (or change) the local variables, like our flags and our HashMap. In most cases, access is done directly via a Java Bean.

    When I have hundreds of users, I meet a lot of locks when I do this specific code

    DCDataControl dc = BindingContext.getCurrent().findDataControl(SHARED_LOOKUP_SERVICE_DATA_CONTROL);
    SharedLookupServiceImpl am = (SharedLookupServiceImpl)dc.getApplicationModule();

    I added a timer before and after and if takes more than 250 ms, I issued a warning, so I have a lot of them!

    Thanks to all for your responses.

    I finally found the problem in our SharedAM. It is because we have methods for translation, which called for the database and these methods have been very often called, and of course, they were not cached. So I fixed that by moving the database stored in non-sharedAM procedure call.

  • Locks on temporary tables

    Hello

    Are there general information internal temporary tables? The locking mechanism is any different from tables heap?
    I ask because I noticed that exclusive locks remain on global temporary tables on commit preserve, until the session disconnects. I don't understand why exclusive row locks are kept through the instructions commit. Can someone explain this?

    Thank you

    >
    am fully aware that only single sessions can access data and that these locks can never become blocking or blocked locks. I'm always interested to know why what is happening.
    >
    Since you accept the premise that sb92075 has given, and as you say above, I'm surprised you have not asked why Oracle that bothers to place locks in initially. ;)

    Locks are available in blocks that contain the data. To clear the locks Oracle will have to return on each block. This can be a very expensive operation - even equivalent to a full table scan. Because Oracle knows that no other session can access data, he also knows that he can ignore this potentially expensive operation.

    In short, there is NOTHING to be gained by releasing the locks but a lot to lose.

    Regarding the answer to why Oracle that bothers to put the locks? Temporary tables have no line when the session begins and if all lines are created locks can be placed at the same time, the data is added to the block using the normal code of the Oracles path.

    In short, there is NO COST to add the locks using the path of the normal code. Then what good creating a new path of code to avoid adding locks?

  • X200T GPS Enabler problem: unlock a card SIM blocked NO.

    Hello.

    ThinkVantage GPS Enabler keeps asking me an "unlock code" even through my SIM card is not blocked somehow. It works perfectly in my cell phone.

    Today, I was messing around with the built-in GPS, I got it with my main SIM card and everything was dandy. But later, I tried to use a SIM card blocked/locked, ThinkVantage GPS has not agreed and asked me to unlock. Fair enough, I thought and changed back to the SIM card, I used at first, but now she also ask an 'unlock code' for this card.

    How is it, I can't use my main SIM card anymore?

    How to run again?

    It works once again, sorry for the inconvenience.

  • HOWTO upgrade a read to a RMW lock lock

    Hi all

    If a database entry has been read in a transaction using get (key, transaction, LockMode.DEFAULT entry), how to improve the associated a RMW lock later in the same transaction read lock?

    As I've mentioned before, I am writing a Java open source library that uses the api Java for db. I hope that the C++ and Java solutions to this problem are simple.

    Hello Roberto,

    Restrictions against the use of LockMode.RMW in the first get() method calls? If Yes, then you should look in directly asking / release the blocking locks subsystems, i.e. using the Environment.createLockerID, Environment.getLock, Environment.freeLockerID, Environment.putLock and Environment.lockVector methods:
    [http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/db/java/com/sleepycat/db/Environment.html]
    [http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/db/ref/lock/intro.html]
    [http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/db/ref/lock/am_conv.html]

    An example of use of the locking subsystem directly is also under the ' BDB_HOME/examples_java/src/db' directory in LockExample.java. Below is an example on how you can use the methods to achieve your goal:

    try {}
    env is an instance of the environment
    Locker is an int.
    Assign an ID unique locker (in the environment)
    Locker = env.createLockerID ();

    The DBT object, we are trying to block
    Entry DatabaseEntry = new DatabaseEntry (entryBytes);

    Get the READ of the lock table lock
    Lock readLock = env.getLock (true entrance, locker, LockRequestMode.READ);

    Other operations go here (read the entry)

    The lock request to release the READ lock acquired earlier
    LockRequest readLockRequestRelease = new LockRequest (LockOperation.PUT, LockRequestMode.READ, entry, readLock);

    The lock request to acquire the lock for WRITING on the DBT object
    Lock writeLock = null;
    LockRequest writeLockRequestAcquire = new LockRequest (LockOperation.GET, LockRequestMode.WRITE, entry, writeLock);

    Build the list of lock requests which will be used to atomically exchanges to a write lock
    LockRequest [] lockRequestList = {readLockRequestRelease, writeLockRequestAcquire};

    Atomically release the lock read write lock changing
    env.lockVector (locker, true, lockRequestList);

    Other operations go here (the entry was modified)

    Release the write lock
    env.putLock (writeLock);

    Free unique record ID
    env.freeLockerID (locker);

    } catch (DatabaseException e) {}

  • Locked - can't access the "rocket"

    I have a new Sansa Fuze and it's messed up.  I can turn it on and off and accessing some program (podcast) is first up, finally one that I was actually listening to, but does not have the up/down button.  I can move files on the left and right, however.  He's stuck.  I tried to power off and hold this button down for 30 seconds.  Nothing happened.  When I plug it into my computer (Windows XP), my computer makes this noise indicating it 'sees', but when I check, it does not record as a drive in my computer.  When it is plugged in, the battery charges and it reads 'connection '.

    I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I had it pretty full of podcasts, and I may have inadvertently left on 'lock' and, if the battery is certainly not wear down.  I know that the computer works fine because I plugged my old e250 and she appeared very well.

    What should do?

    Tapeworm: Who will do well.  The very strange thing that I didn't know when I posted my original message is that I could access the "rocket" through my other computer and reformatted, in the hope that it will open.  He did not.  But your suggestion.

    Thank you.

  • HP Pavilion dv7 - 2277cl "blocked, do not load"-HELP!

    HP support team,

    First of all, I really want to thank you for holding this type of support.  I have technical questions for laptop and it happens to be your guy - for Expert days how unfortunately had the chance of me!

    I have a 4 years old HP Pavilion dv7 - 2277cl, Windows 7 operating system. I had a problem for months now with my recharge battery.  Whenever I plug in the AC adapter, it is said "plugged in, not charging."  For the last two months, I was able to get away, stirring the adapter so that it can load, even if my method 'all or nothing' does more work.  I opened the Device Manager and updated the three drivers under "Stacks" (which were all updated), tried to uninstall the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control and restart my laptop (nothing has changed). I tried to stop the laptop and tried to turn it back on with only the AC adapter is plugged (who doesn't) and even calibrated my battery - who only left until the point where I have a charge of 5%, and it has connected for more than 12 hours...

    So, somehow the battery IS loading, but only when the laptop is turned off. While the battery icon is always displayed "blocked, do not load," the battery changed miraculously since a 38-78% more than a day to load (stopcock).  Ditto for when I calibrated the battery somehow it responsible for a charge of 5% of weakness, but full of hope...

    The culprit would be the battery, the power adapter or the laptop itself? I am a broke college student so it would strain my wallet to get help in the store, I am looking for help!

    Desperate and concerned,
    Princess of pop corn

    If you turn on the laptop without the power adapter there is of course a mistake with the AC adapter. Substitute must address your situation.

    Hello! I have a big problem, I just copied mp3 on my e270 player, as I have done all the time in months past, but this time everhing want badly... Updated database and reset... databases update and reset... like that, impossible to stop, just to be able to and the same thing happened when I restart, then I just read on the way to reset it with the lock and hold the recording and the power , goodddd, I saw a thread of the text, version 03 o something like that, then I saw for a Player V2 it should say 03, well, I download the firmware for the V2 and extract it on the drive of 16Meg that is appeared in my computer, and then disconnected it and the player says something like COPY ROM and nothing more happened then I turned off the player and tried to restart it, but it does not, restart it just doesn't turn on at all... He's dead? What can I do? is it possible to reset as a new? don't forget the music he have in it, I copy everything... hope you can help... Thank you very much!!! Steve

    Now I TAPED! with a lot of work, I founded the whole thing to do as a new... I just make a simple guide, I think it can be useful for many people, if they do not know LINUX.

    If the rom is corrupt or you did something wrong whith the flashing rom.

    you have to use LINUX, I use UBUNTU 8.10 Intrepid, if you are a windows user, you can download it.

    Here I give you a few options, the last one is to download the CD, but you can visit the Web site and select a download location.

    Site of Ubuntu:
    http://www.Ubuntu.com

    Direct download of this CD:
    http://less.Cogeco.NET/Ubuntu-releases/intrepid/Ubuntu-8.10-desktop-i386.ISO

    Burn it to a CD.

    Restart your computer with UBUNTU inside and boot from the CD.

    You can switch to another language and change the keyboard before you begin, use the first option to start, it will not install anything and nothing changes nothing in your system.

    you need to open some windows, don't close them until you finish the process, you will have to play from one to the other, just to see the bottom of the screen where are the windows list.

    go to APPLICATIONS/accessories/Terminal
    type in the terminal:
    sudo knew

    at this point, you will be the master of your system.

    Open a file browser of your system, where Firefox will put the files you downloaded.
    go to PLACE/DESKTOP

    Open the FIREFOX web browser
    go to APPLICATIONS/INTERNET/FIREFOX

    you need last rom:
    DOWNLOAD:
    http://mp3support.SanDisk.com/firmware/E200/e200v101.02.24A.zip

    go to the file browser, right-click, click on the downloaded zip file and select EXTRACT HERE.
    Extract in its own directory (we need to create a directory named: e200v101.02.24a)

    go to Firefox
    DOWNLOAD:
    http://Daniel.haxx.se/Sansa/e200tool/I2C-E280.bin

    Go to the file Explorer, select the bin file and put it in the same directory (e200v101.02.24a):

    in this directory (e200v101.02.24a), simply create a file with nothing in it,
    Click with the right button and select CREATE NEW FILE DOCUMENT/EMPTY and name:
    Sansa.fmt

    go to Firefox
    Download the e200tool and save it in the same directory (e200v101.02.24a).
    http://Daniel.haxx.se/Sansa/e200tool/e200tool

    Go to the file Explorer, select the e200tool file and put it in the same directory (e200v101.02.24a)

    in the end, you should have this directory (e200v101.02.24a):
    BL_SD_boardSupportSD.ROM
    e200tool
    I2C - e280.bin
    PP5022.MI4
    Sansa.fmt

    go to the TERMINAL (you must take care of the CASE, upper and lower are different under linux)
    NOTE: you can press on it were you (TAB key) to complete the file name or to see a list of files.
    type (depends on your language, can be desktop, desktop, etc.):
    CD Desktop
    ls-l

    You should see something like this and other files:
    drwxr-xr-x 2 steve steve 4096 2009-01-01 10:02 e200v101.02.24a

    If you have this directory, go inside, otherwise, stay there.

    to go inside, type:

    CD e200v101.02.24a

    now, to pass us...

    with the sansa
    put on hold (LOCK LOCK switch),
    Press and hold the (down arrow) button for 5 seconds pass in Factory mode
    Connect the sansa to the USB port of your computer, the wheel turns again now.
    leave the button
    Press and hold the rec button

    in the TERMINAL, type:
    sudo. / e200tool init
    sudo. / e200tool i2cprogram i2c - e280.bin

    Disconnect the Sansa
    Power the power button off, holding 20 seconds
    On mode factory
    connect to the computer usb

    in the TERMINAL, type:
    sudo. / e200tool recover BL_SD_boardSupportSD.rom

    Unplug and restart the Sansa player in manufacturing modeholding the REC button, connect it to the USB, you should now have the 16 MB drive in a new file browser. At this point, the player to show something like:
    Lun0 locked
    Lun0 unlocked
    and he repeats a lot of time...

    Open the first FILE BROWSER,
    Select the 3 files with the CTRL key and click with the mouse, go to the EDIT menu and select COPY.
    Http://mp3support.sandisk.com/firmware/e200/e200v101.02.24a.zip BL_SD_boardSupportSD.ROM
    PP5022.MI4
    Sansa.fmt

    go to the other EXPLORER of FILES with the open 16 MB disk.
    now simply copy the 3 files on the 16 MB drive:
    go to the EDIT menu and select PASTE

    Click the icon of the COMPUTER a high Center of the browser, and with the right button of the mouse, select the 16 MB drive, in the menu that appears, select REMOVE.

    Remove disk 16 MB of your computer, wait for the confirmation to take it apart and disconnect the Sansa.

    put the button of BLOCKING (LOCK) in the unlock position, turn off the SANSA pressed the button to power 20 seconds if necessary, turn it on and it will report formatting the SANSa as a new one, erasing everything in it and you will be able to use it as the first time.

    NOTE: I tried everything first without the sansa.fmt to save all files inside, but he ran like before with the problem, and then I had to format.

    Hope it may help someone in the future, thank you all for your help and all who have written something on how to restore the Sansa e200 series V1 (e270 in my case).

  • Foglight for Oracle - Bitmap Index

    All,

    Is thre a way for me to detect if an index Dickman is used in a database

    Also, I would be able to tell if a lock is the result of a bitmap index.

    Thank you!

    The index bitmap behave with slightly different locks.  Because of the line are stored in the bitmap, no probable outcome of row in the effective closure of the WHO index of locking.  In the design of applications, you should pay attention when the bitmap indexes are used on tables with updates.

    To find the bitmap indexes, you can use something like

    SELECT INDEX_TYPE, TABLE_OWNER, TABLE_NAME, INDEX_NAME

    OF dba_indexes

    WHERE index_type IN ("BITMAP", "BITMAP AXES on the FUNCTION")

    /

    Conclusion if a lock is being influenced by a bitmap index wouldn't be a combination to find a blocking lock and check if the locked object is a table with a bitmap index.
