  My g62-355dx still does not work after replacement of the central unit (this is what has been flashing caps lock code... flashes once every few seconds) so after replacing the cpu I always get the same flashing... tried the hard reset code before replacing the cpu but haven't tried after...   This is the third post of the kind that I put in service in the last month or so and I will repeat what I have always supported. It is almost never the CPU, regardless the blink code. It is almost always the motherboard. Your bet by far safer is to replace like with like that probably another g62-300 series motherboard will work, if it offers all your function doesn't not or vice versa, it may take a few case mods do go up and you want to avoid this.

  You can buy a SATA USB adapter that will allow you to plug in the HARD drive on another PC and the take-off data

  NOW YOU CAN ONLY SAVE DATA FROM THE DISK IF THE HARD DRIVE IS NOT DEAD

  In other words, you can't.

  Assuming that your edition of Windows 7 is the one that supports the transfer of a virtual machine (i.e. the upscale home and more)...

  You will need to do a clean install of the virtual machine, using the retail media and the key of the COA sticker.

  You may need to activate by phone.

  Note that Samsung have historically refused to provide any form of media except through a factory install. This means that it is almost impossible to install the original media for anything except the original disk, using the recovery partition.

  Hi... you can replace the HARD drive with disk drive hard Seagate ST9320310AS or Hitachi HTS545032B9S...

  You will find the site of esupport , HARD drive installation instructions... BTW, you need to use a recovery for the new HARD drive disk
