hp jet pro 8610 desktop reset language

Just bought a HP Office Jet Pro 8610 (during the last hour!).  Initial turn on... the language of other than English error... How can I reset it? because I don't understand the language!

Hello kachmica,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that your Officejet 8610 is in the wrong language. I will do my best to help you! Unfortunately, you will have to go through the installation program. You can change the language, once the ink cartridges are installed and prints the alignment page.

I recommend the continuation of this HP document on implementation of the printer (Hardware). I know that your printer is in another language at the moment, but try to follow it. You can continue to press the next button until what it shows you an installation of ink cartridges image.

Once you complete alignment, your printer will be in another language. Follow these steps:

(1) slide your finger on the screen to go to the second page. Press the gear symbol (Setup)

(2) touch the first menu that appears on your screen (configuration of printer)

(3) touch the second menu (language), then tap English

Please let me know if you have any other questions. Have a great day!

    Hi @coverage,

I can help you unlock the printer, but it will do a full reset. I'll send you a PM (private Message), but before I do, please see the HP Privacy Statement.

This privacy statement informs you of our privacy practices and the choices you can make about the way information about you and your online activity is collected and how that information is used. This statement is available on our homepage at the bottom of each web page of HP and HP.com.

There are a growing number of messages in this forum and elsewhere in the internet with the steps to do a reset on different printers.  Reset to will sometimes fix problems, so resetting is not the issue.

A few resets require you to enter key combinations to open special menus on your printer that you were supposed to never access.  These special menus are used by developers and staff support for debugging of problems, but they are not intended for inexperienced users and can have unexpected results.  A wrong button push and you might no longer have a printer, but rather an expensive paper weight.  On top of that, if you happen to the 'brick' the printer in this way, it is considered as customer induced damage and voids the warranty automatically. These resets are only intended to be distributed and used as a last resort and under the direct instruction of a representative of the HP technical support. They should not be made lightly!

What to do now. Can you please provide?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

The same driver as expected for any operating system like Windows 7 or 8 must be used, however, the installation should be launched via the command line and not as a standard installation.

Follow these steps to install the software of the printer on a server:

  • Is HP Office Jet Pro 8610 Adobe Support. PDF files?

    Greetings,

I think the upgrade to a HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m all-in-One for an all-in-One HP Office Jet Pro 8610.

I could create and use on the C309g-m .pdf files.  I have Adobe Reader on my computer.  I'll be able to do the same on the 8610?

    Thank you.

    shamrock838

Have Adobe reader installed and its having some capacity doesn't have nothing to do with which printer is installed.

If to create and use .pdf created files do you mean having the ability to print the FichierVous or that you downloaded, then the answer is Yes.

  • HP Office Jet Pro 8610 do not print, but will only fax

We have a HP Office Jet 8610 Pro and it worked fine until we hung like a fax also Thursday.

He used to copy, print, scan perfectly but it takes a new fax machine, so we went and bought the phone cord and hung a fax and telephone line with built in answering the Office Jet and the fax jobs, but now it not print a document in Open Office to the printer because she's trying to make a fax cover page.

I've ran out of ideas can you please help?

There are two pilots "printer" there, to print, choose the "printer Officejet Pro 8610' instead of the 'Officejet Pro 8610 FAX. Probably, you set another value by default when the fax feature is added, which is for the PC - fax. If you use the print function more often than the fax, make non-fax the default printer.

  • Office jet pro 8610: wireless network connection

Why the laptop does not see the connect if the output of the printer wireless is disabled? Even if I check the box for this connection is not to be automatically connected to it will always connect when you turn on the laptop?

    Hello @richardbo,

Welcome to the Forums of HP and thanks for posting!

I understand that you have a problem with your devices wirelessly to the network that connects the printer e-all-in-one HP Officejet Pro 8610 automatically. I'd love to help you with this.

You are right on the assumption that the ethernet disables the ability of the printer to connect to a wireless network. However, the printer has a feature called live wireless. Basically, the printer will be broadcast a signal and act as a router so that you can connect devices directly to it. I suspect that's what devices are connected, then here are the steps which stops:

    1. On the homescreen of the printer, tap the Wireless live downstairs. ((Deuxième à gauche)
    2. Select settings.
    3. Select Direct wirelessand OFF.

Please reply to let me know if that solves the problem!

    Have a great day.

  • the office jet pro 8610 has memory to recover documents printers before?

I'm trying to recover a document that I have printed a few days ago and I can't find it on my pc. The office pro 8610 has a memory that I can go back a reprint of you try the document?

    Hi @bj11,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I see you are trying to reproduce a document for a few days there with your HP Officejet pro 8610. I'm happy to help you!

According to the user's Guideof this printer, the printer does not store documents already printed in its memory. The only way to recover an already printed document must be made on the computer.

  • Office jet Pro 8610: how to eliminate a notice "start problem there... the module is not found.

Recently, I replaced my old printer Officejet Pro 8600 with a new printer Officejet 8610.  Before you install the new printer I completely uninstalled the old printer sotware.  After installing the new software, the 8610 new works perfectly. My problem now is that everytime I turn on my computer, I get a useless message:-«Run DLL...» There was a problem starting c-program files-HP-HP Officejet Pro 8600-bun - HPstatusDL.dll... The specified module could not be found. This message has no effect on the functioning of the 8600 printer and is simply a nuisance. I closed the message when it appears. HOW CAN I GET RID OF HIM?

    Hello

Open the file Explorer and paste the following text in the address bar, and then press ENTER:

    %AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

Remove the ink monitor - HP Officejet Pro 8600 shortened alerts and restart your PC to confirm the message no longer appears.

  • Office Jet Pro 8610: paper jam

Several days ago, I bought the 8610 printer. It looked like a good deal. I started printing and then started having paper jams through the accessory duplex with almost every print job. I called, do you have a case number. She told me to unplug the printer to reset. Of course, the printer was operating normally again. Two of print jobs, and then began to paper block again. SO I packed the printer and sent back to Best Buy, replaced by another, the same model.

EU home, she printed on two sheets of paper, and then I got exactly the same error.

Unless I get an easy solution, I'm going back this one as well. I hope that HP did not this one on sale because they know that this is a problem. When I look around, on the web, I see that I'm not the only person who gets rrecurring paper jams. It is very time-consuming and costly. I hope you can help.

2 printers new make, same model and the same problem. Hard to believe!

After I posted I called HP support. They guided me through a process of cleaning the rollers. After that, it seems to be resolved. So far, no other paper not jams.

The printer was brand new. Why she would need a cleaning already is beyond me. It's the printer 2nd in a line that has done this. First, that I returned to Best Buy, but I liked the printer... I wanted to make it work...

We'll see. If it starts to do this again with the 15 days I need to return this product, it will be returned. I have never had a printer before as necessary care when unpacking.

  • HP jet pro 8620 desktop - printing on envelopes #9

I'm trying to use my hp pro 8620 office jet to print from microsoft word 2010 #9 envelopes for a project to raise funds for the non-profit I work. I get an error that says the difference in size of paper because even if I get a custom default to #10 envelopes paper size. Is it possible to substitute the paper size mismatch error printing anyway?

Hi akilpatand thanks for getting back to me!

The #9 envelope does not appear in the specifications for a type of paper supported.  Supported envelopes are #10, Monarch and 5.5 bars.

I would, however, use this document as a workaround:

Create Windows 7 custom paper sizes
